Premium Member Guess Who

15 October 1931 was his date of birth,
He is a man of infinite worth.
Rameshwaram was his birthplace,
Poverty was a villain in his case.

A very down-to-earth man;
As a paper boy, his life, he began.
He was a hardworking student;
And was always very prudent.

A low-cost coronary stent,
Along with a cardiologist, he did invent.
As a ‘Missile Man’ he is well known,
For the talent that he has shown.

He supported Uniform Civil Code,
Upon him, Bharat Ratna was bestowed.
He is the darling of the youth;
Doubt not an ounce, for it’s the truth.

He was a relentless fighter,
A great orator, and writer.
All good virtues in him we see;
Can you guess who is he?

You Are the Love

Across an azure sky
 i trailed lonely as clouds
Lost and broken
you unlocked my handcuffs
you are the love, you are the lover

In the ambiguity of reverberence and sonority
 my soul was asleep
i awakened at the rhythms of your love
you are the song, you are the singer

In the veils of darkness
i wandered in the labyrinth of unknown streets
your glowing face brighten up my path
you are the sun,you are the sunshine

In a bushy garden
 i was hidden behind thorns
you extracted my nectar and pollens
you are the honey, you are the honey bee

I was at the verge of cardiac arrest
you unclogged blockage of coronary arteries
and cured my traumatic aortic rupture
You are the heart, you are the heart beat

About Heart Attack

How do they hit us: Rude shocks?
You wait until your heart locks:
From sent clinic: the raw facts,
With God making the last parts...

Coronary a seizure,
Quite silly exact measure;
The plague you may just picture
For a straight warning lecture:
Heart attack an assassin
That strikes bases not on sin...

Sure, its a Cardiac Arrest
Working closely with unrest:
For the famous who can't rest
Because he must give one's best:

The Bishop to taste arrest
For the safe lives he did waste

Rip Maradona

The paths of bricks and stones surround my city life
Cold of winter could not touch me still on the Cheragi Hill
No smoldering or bonfire I need here to warm my skin
Less time I watch TV program, not fond of the world soccer
Last night I passed my time listening the great Nusrat Fateh Ali khan
This morning my sight is captivated by- “No more the football legend”

Golden days were in the evergreen leaf of football history
Magical legs ran on the green mid field for the FIFA cup
World cup of 1986 knew best this 10th number jersey magician
Astonished all were in his outstanding playing performance
One of the ever-greatest crown players of the world he was
Now staying rest in peace cause of the blocked coronary arteries

O God, let him live in Your merciful garden,
Let his eternal soul be the sign of Your peace

Doctors have connected the dots:
COVID-19 balloons blood clots!
Avoid aftermath
Just soak in a bath*
To send blood clots sailing like yachts!

* A Japanese study reports that
soaking in a tub 2-4 times each week
reduces clots and blood pressure plus
coronary heart disease by 25% and
strokes by 13%

Premium Member Coughing Here Coughing There

Coughing here. Coughing there.
Constant coughing everywhere.
Put your mask on. Do it quick!
Corona Virus is so thick.

We’re Americans. Don’t tell us what to do!
You can’t make us afraid of the coronary flu.
We will congregate more than ever now.
Taking orders to us is smelly and fowl!

Coughing here. Coughing there.
Coughing in my underwear.
Stay in your house, go on. HIDE!
For three weeks, it’ll be a wild ride.

We’re Americans. Don’t tell us what to do!
You can’t make us afraid of the coronary flu.
We will eat out more than ever now.
Taking orders to us is smelly and fowl!

Coughing here. Coughing there.
Coughing in sync if we dare.
Coughing in some states more than others.
Coughing with our sisters and brothers.

Reaching destinations
Exceeding expectations

Staying professional
Getting it done in a way that is exceptional

Far from probable
Didn't seem possible
But it happened and was phenomenal

Was stuck like barnacles
Then moved among the particles
Doing something remarkable
With or without using an arsenal

More than a poet
In case you didn't know it
Stoic
And heroic

Doing things that are stupendous
And tremendous

More than scary
Extraordinary
Giving opposition a coronary
So that they end up in the mortuary
Not no dormitory

No matter the suspense
Events continue to commence
Leaving an impact that is immense
On either side of the fence
In forests that are dense

Deadly Enzyme

Look at your plate,
a smorgasbord of hate
You love swallowing it all down,
but gluttony of pride is the real crime
Pepsin of pure violence
is your digestive deadly enzyme
It breaks down the fibers of civility,
an acidic catalyst dissolving racial harmony
Keep eating the hate,
greedily gobbling it all down your throat
You're sure to suffer a bad coronary fate,
when all that vomit starts to make you choke
Pigs always try to digest everything they've ate

Trump Not Very Smart Horn Haiku

Trump Not Very Smart Horn Haiku

We were implicit
What Trump does was illicit
And not exquisite.

Made our lives a wreck
Did not play with a full deck
Should further inspect.

Trump seems so scary
Gave us a coronary
Is not smart very.

Middle line in last paragraph reminds
me of North Carolina NAACP Director
who is a minister who I worry about
and should lose some weight. He had
mad comments about heart valves
and attacks. Quite a moving DNC.
DNC stands for Democrats No Charge.

A Sense of Balance

A sense of balance is all I need to cope,
so I don’t hang myself with a rope.
I’ve got to get a grip on life and keep my sanity.
God can’t save me if I don’t have serenity.

Nourishing nutrition is necessary.
A light diet is right, so I don’t have a coronary.
Exercise excites blood flow, so muscles move me.
Remember there’ll be brain drain with too much TV.

No alcohol to infest my body and impair judgment.
Mind won’t be in a grind so I can write well and not lament.
Learn from books and others as I don’t know it all.
Hard knocks of life lessens mistakes, so I don’t fall.

So what else is there to tell?
Well, the weekend is here and I want to hear the church bell toll.
Pray a lot and purify my heart with the psalms of the Lord.
Sense of balance gone if I don’t hang onto His Word.

Coronaries and Cabbage

coronary vessels feed our hearts
blood pumped bright red circulate from
our delicate hearts nourishing the tiny cells
blood flows like a river undisturbed branching
like a monstrous tree rebranching into twigs leading
to leaves and life is a beautiful flow of love
when your heart breaks you are despondent
cry and re cry drink and vomit time heals you hardly die
a clot of blood tiny thrown in the vessels
your flow is lost you could die instantly or live
another life your destiny they call it coronary
they might lyse the ache in your heart lytics
wire and balloon your collapsing vessels in the lab
or even bypass or detour your damaged vessels
needlessly a lot of times and call it cabbage
