Atop a bed of plastic
In a house made of bone
I am helpless to feel Rome’s revival

they lived a humble life renouncing to all comforting luxuries;
who comes to mind if notTostoi who saw many human miseries?

Sometimes let the sloth take over your years of perseverance.
Leave the blinds as they are, with a slit in-between them,

How austere can this abyss actually be,
if my ardent powers could hold my conscience under control,
and all it can do is drown me?
If this home is my sole identity then I have failed to understand
myself for an eternity, at end nothing matters as such, so
don't think much of what you have done,

supernovas outshine galaxies in brilliance.

upholding the biblical creation in us to refine.
To him self affirming the preference to be an ape,
giving Darwin’s theory the wishing shape.
In letters of war between Burke and Thomas Paine,
the debate in differences of conservatism,
and the misleading perception of progressivism.
After 2021 in lockdown giving nature a break,
wildlife’s resources in reviving stake.
The new debate now in consideration geographic,
3 working days and nights, 4 days no traffic.

The ultimate provider in absolute respect,

A presence stirs.

Waiting...

Fear is how I address him
NO!I lie-
I don`t address him at all.
He just watches.
Some nights, I don`t mind him so.
How can I?
His the only Friend I've
Ever known.
He watches over me,

Pulls my timid strings

I feel my hands,
oily on the desk like shortening in
slate gray cookie pans,
the speedway inside forcing the absence of

so flippant to implore

across the cherry plane.

Darest I mention truth?
I am your whore;

just leave some crisp bills
on the nightstand, sugar.
Yet my voice models his wavelength,
relaying back the catchy tired language
of one hit wonders;
eyes brighten,
hands extend
from the man who owns a chartreuse tie.
Sigh.
Still,
complacency
awards a loaf of Wonder bread,
and a two bedroom lower.
