The unending day

                                         Turning in to night
          

Another day

                                            The day starts 
       

Greek Universe Concerns

Fire is hot.
Is it not?

Earth is too dirty
for one so purty.

In water, I'd sink,
I think...

and what about the air?
Is it really there?

Environmental Concerns

Ponder the old pestles and mortars
used at times in apothecaries,
older drug emporium quarters.

Some of the porous surface was shared
by grinding both mortar and pestle
ending up in medicines prepared.

Do today's microplastics alarm you?
Minute particles endanger us all;
microwavable repercussions? Whew!

AGE CONCERNS - SHOELACE

My shoelace is no longer tight.
A simple task to put it right 
but I cannot bend so to do 
for my balance is undone too. 
Slowly I must walk up the street 
hoping somewhere to find a seat 
or a low wall to sit upon 
to make my shoelace tight again.

I could be going deaf

Longing does not only appear
At a long distance reception
But it is also caused by a desire
That is never realized onset
Keep cleanliness a character intact
Because cleanliness is part of faith
Devote work as source of your energy

Who Cares

When loved ones with dementia go missing and resources caregivers lack
When the poor are given a handout, not a helping hand to get on track
When lying scammers and telemarketers, seniors cannot hold back 
And one bad decision results in suicide or homicide following a hack?
