The unending day

                                         Turning in to night
                                         The day continues
                                     Far more heavy and cast
                                          Engulfing the end

                                     Incarnating cold concerns
                                           Empty in content
                                           Profoundly hollow
                                          Drowned in dreams

                                        Sailing in the unknown
                                           Powered by futility
                                        Searching the vacuum
                                         With no start, no end

                                         Thinking and thinking
                                      The Seekers went clueless
                                           Diverting the issues
                                         Nothingness continues

                                                   At last!
                                             Sleep takes over
                                       Merging the destinations
                                          The day yawns again

That last line is a sting 'The day yawns again'! And sleep 'merging the destinations' is an interesting truth of the jumbliness of dreams. There is a deep sadness and longing in this poem. If it is personal, I sincerely hope and pray moments of light and joy to brighten your eyes. J :)
