The Traffic Moves On, So Do I

I
Stuck on the road full of a heavy traffic
Inch by inch , no movements are automatic
Drivers do rant, shouting their personal tactic
Someone says “hey, go ahead.. damn pathetic”

That loud voices echoed in my ears
Recognize voices who caused my unstoppable tears
The pain of betrayal that brings back my fears
And carry

The Cycle of Nature - Paying It Forward and Back

     A tree needs sun, water and soil
       gives back its fruit...
          and its shade
          on a hot, sultry day

     A bee needs

Looking Forward Too

In the rush to satisfy
                                     one must think of himself
         

Moving Forward

At times this may be hard to do but must be done
It may be easier to do after considering a fight won
When it comes to moving forward the battle is within
You know your destination and where you have been
Doing this will require putting the past behind you
Forgetting about everything you see in your rearview

Forward To The Past

As their twinkle
(starshine)
takes time travel from the past
and light years
(90 billion)
to arrive across a void so vast
altho' we've been to the Moon
(and back)
Venus Jupiter and Mars
how can our future lie
not here and now on Earth
but in the planets and the stars?

We're all here on a journey 
With only one way to go 
FORWARD 
That's what I believe 
Yes we all do different things 
Choose the streets roads 
And avenues we take
But going FORWARD

My fierce review of my marriage and how my best fell short giving Doug what he earned and deserved… A review only as a widow, not as a divorcee, or in the middle of a dying marriage.

Falling Forward

I divorced the sky, once too heavy,
Each cloud a promise I couldn’t trust—
I watched it tear apart, not softly,
But with a thunderous, elegant thrust.
I unbuttoned the stars from my chest,
Left the moon dangling, bruised and cold,
And learned the art of quiet rage,
Sinking into the earth, finally bold.

Time Marches On

Time Marches Forward

Our relationship is done
we can no longer continue.
The hands of time have
stopped for us.

It is too late to turn
back the clock.
For a while we had
great fun.
But the ticking clock
marked the denouement
of our time together.

Backward is forward

Wake
The ever present enemy
Overbearing and oppressively 
Shadowing expectantly 
As forethought always secondly 
Two minds hang suspended be
Interrupting thoughtlessly 
Relentless and attentively 
Aressting so effectively 
Contented is left restlessly 
Thrashed into docility
Numbing the auxiliary 
Concerning such complacency 
Overwhelming this tranquillity
Resolute in the obscurity
Abstracting absurdity
With Orchestrated entropy
Worn out by pacificity
