The Wizard and the Dragon
On a land across the sea
There's a dragon, so fierce and mighty
All the peasants tremble in fright
When he's roaring with his might
He casts his prey in his breath of fire
And devours him with hoggish desire
The poor peasants drown in fear
When they know he's coming near
For this dragon had a power
That could make an empire cower
He makes the kings perform his bidding
Like they're obliged to fulfill a pleading
But one day, a clever wizard
Was brave enough to come forward
With a stroke of his magic wand
The mighty dragon lost his stand
He bound the dragon with his spell
And with his words, the dragon fell
The dragon was tossed in deepest pit
Where he would stay for two thousand years
Hail the wizard of protection
Who saved the land from destruction
May our faith in this wizard stay
For the dragon will be free one day
