Let Go

Are you being held back?
Are you living in your past?
Are you carrying the burden?
Are you bearing the brunt?

Have you more questions than answer?
Have you been seeking the truth?
Have you been knocking on doors?
Have you found the source?

Science always doesn’t answer, clarifies.
In meta world many things survive,
No text is sufficient, no explanations suffice.
In the world beyond, energies ply.

Let past be the bygone,
No pondering what might have been…
Just embrace the change unseen!

Step out of comfort zone,
Into the unknown…
Open to life’s embrace,
And let your spirit find its grace.

In every moment let awareness reign,
Open to energies, vibrations at play.
For in this consciousness, you will find home,
Where winds of change forever roam!

Poetry Absorbs the Pain

Poetry absorbs the pain
Writing something down
Helps you maintain your sanity
The reflection of a situation will give us the victory
The heart breaks through the misery
While words are cemented in history

Shadows of comfort will sprinkle your face
Blades of power will hold your mouth
Words of silence can’t escape
The thunderous ploy of your heart
Poetry will absorb the pain

Pain paints poetry
You will feed off every abnormality and
Reveal the centrality of all hidden thoughts!
Then after a while, you will smile again
Knowing that your heart bled because
It was a comfort worth exploring
It was an oddity worth refining and above all
It was a love worth mentioning

Poetry absorbs the pain
Hearts that bleed are hearts that feed off the weight of a situation
The sudden shift of emotion clarifies the darkness
The oneness of passion electrifies the soul and
Writing it down helps poetry absorb the pain

Inanimate

Who sees and does not describe,
who knows the truth
and nothing explains,
who can solve the equation,
but remains inert,
who knows right from wrong,
but nothing clarifies
who can do something good,
but nothing good does...
Is much less than human,
much less than a man...
Is much more an inanimate puppet,
life It does not live... it just passes..!

The Thunderous Ploy of the Heart

Brave and courageous they know the power of love
Hearts that bleed
Live by the creed of love
Giving their all
Knowing that love is like a tidal wave!

Shadows of comfort sprinkle the faces of those in love
Blades of power hold their mouth
Words of silence can’t escape
The thunderous ploy of the heart!

Love is a courageous journey
It starts at forever and ends at never!
Hearts that bleed are hearts that feed off the weight of love
The sudden shift of emotion illuminates the darkness
The singleness of a passion electrifies the soul
But the cold shift of isolation keeps the mission alive!

The heart bleeds
Feeding off every abnormality and
Revealing the centrality of all hidden thoughts!

Love is a comfort worth exploring
Love is an oddity worth refining
Hearts that bleed are hearts that feed off the weight of love
The sudden shift of emotion clarifies the darkness

Premium MemberCrescent Moon

It was a night of crescent moon, and the birds sang in tune,
And perfume upon cool evening air, said flowers were abloom,
Under the blackberry skies, with its velvet shades of maroon,
Wild rapture had returned, for it was now the month of June!

A creamy crescent moon is lovely, seeming painted upon sky,
Like the ages and ages of pretty nights, that it watched go by.
In the scarlet bushes and the blooms, goes the winking firefly,
And an enormous, uncanny darkness, a luster moon clarifies!

Screens of Life

the dark hides,
                    all lights...
                    the clear clarifies,
                     all colors...
           but they are essential elements...
          for our spiritual growth

Shadow and Light

There is no shadow of light
because the shadow only stupefy..
 light, on the contrary amazes...
The clear only clarifies!
shadow of shadow only
when there is some light...
In the light, there is no secret,
 all is in sight...
But it is in the shadow that
  the mystery dwells... !

The Quadrangle Well

They made a decorative well
in the campus
where books and laptops
were set aside
by the skinny staked
newly planted ancient oaks.
Students could sit there
to be good company
if they could find it.

The well is small, a bricked hole,
a shallow ocular sink
holding a green stillness,
yet direct sun made it live.

In the dazzle of the day
undergrads agree not to notice
a diminutive tide going in and out,
the hump-backed splashes of
surfacing Plesiosauri
magnified from lava and spawn,
until a passing cloud
clarifies these malformed gestations.

Girls in shorts check their bare legs
for teeth marks
as the noon day bell rings.

The wells inner-life
subsides as light dwindles,
damsel fly
and water striders
skim the small round waters,
while some feed upon
the drowned bones
of prehistoric ghosts.

A memo is eventually sent
to the groundskeeper
demanding he stop feeding
the reptiles.

Poetry clarifies, imagines and cures anguish

Promising the heart that it will never languish

Poetry knows the weakness and strength

And the poet must go to most any length

Premium MemberJust One Thing

So I get up in the morning and I think “if I do just one good thing”.
Because just one thing will set the tone of the day, and make me feel good.
So I feed the cat, fill the bird feeders, feed the dog, and start to sing.
Because now my heart feels wonderful, and my day has started as it should.

Just one thing, is my mantra, and it works well for me.
It clarifies my thoughts and it truly makes me see
That one thing leads to two, and hops over soon to three.
And what a great feeling now in my attitude and chi.

Just one thing, I say on Mondays when virtual school stares me in the face.
I do not have to do everything well today, just try to keep myself in place.
Accidents are going to happen. I will fall, and probably not with grace.
But “just one thing” is all I need to get me through this pandemic kind of pace.
