On the precipice of a dream,
Thirty years in the making,
I have a wheeze in my chest,
And my breathe says "Chu Cha. Chu Cha"
And I wonder whether God will take me home before I get to see my dream come true.
And then I realize, heaven is a dream too!!!
Chu Cha, Chu Cha, Chu Cha, Chu Cha, Chu Cha, Ahh!!!

What’s funny ? Going mad!
Try to write a poem within the rules, quick march.
It is bad.

Look left and right.
So please do not sneeze, Mini arch.
I might.

It's true.
A mini arch.

what days might find us
together
as lovers
that we must meet to
find the desinty of
Our True Love.

me knowing you should be enough
to cause you to think twice about marrage.
Ya'll wanna know why?

War Dogs of Bagram Airfield Afghanistan

Bagram airfield the Ugandans handled the bomb dogs.. heading back to my CHU after a mission i would see them for their morning walks.. one dog famously wore motorcycle goggles, story is he took a blast of rocks in the face and survived but was partially blinded.. apparently his sniffer still worked and he could see well enough to do his job.. cool doggy

There were 40,000 people on that base and most armed to the teeth. several thousand were local nationals. Trucks in and out all day.. those dogs were a necessity, god love em. i played with them as often as i could. The Ugandan dudes were cool as f' ...

Ghosts Along the Jungle Path In Vietnam

walking down a lonely trail
in the jungles of Vietnam
fleeing the ghosts of the Viet Kong
down the Chu Chi Trail

pursued by ghosts
and memories of war
and the horror
that lay beneath my feet

wondering yet again
was it worth it
the war
the thousands of dead

silent witnesses
lie beneath my feet
silent witnesses
to the folly of war

as I walk down the jungle path
heading to nowhere
thinking these dark thoughts
talking to my ghostly companions

Ghost of Chu Chi

Crawling down the tunnels
Of Chu Chi
I could almost imagine
The Viet Kong guerillas

Hiding deep under the tunnels
As the land above is turned
Into a temporary dessert

With the vegetation burned off
By napalm and agent orange

The Viet Kong creep out at night
Stealing onto the bases
Stealing weapons, food, supplies
And occasionally killing soldiers

In their sleep
The US soldiers
Stay on base at night

Terrified of the mosquitos
And of the Viet Kong

the ghosts
Surround me
Telling me their stories
And at last I fled

Through the emergency escape tunnel
Declaring victory
Profoundly shaken up
By the ghosts of the Chu Chi tunnels

Fu Man Chu

Fu Man Chu

one blade of grass
hero to mask
not a solemn type post
breath in machine
to ask for Mr. Clean
tragedy tries to lead whole of me
there he lurks
brave at the vibrant head most
change the heart to roast
be the beaver of one who decides
a vision in twilight
rest for the soul

Fu Man Chu
want to stany next to me
amidst the wild tragedy
whip me in shape
portrayed no better escape
vibrant through the eyes
a dozen filed lies

as my swift year beneath the valley of tears
through each everglade we shine for the explore
like a nickle and dime we transmit this next nor rhyme
louder and louder we search for yet more
But forever what ?

In Front of the Decayed Tree, Numerous Trees Turn Green

Shu and Chu are both remote and desolate areas
Where I have lived in exile for twenty-three years.
Nostalgic, I couldn’t help chanting the Reminiscent Song;
Now I return home a weathered man absent for so long.
Passing by the sunken barge, countless sails are seen;
In front of the decayed tree, numerous trees turn green.
I’m honored to listen to your melodious song today,
And empty a glass of wine to refresh myself as I pray.

It's been so long since I had a proper girlfriend
I've forgotten what to do
The one I have now takes my breath away
And she's made of rubber too
I'm so tired after blowing so much
I haven't the energy to do anything else
It just defeats the object
So I just put her back un the box
And put her back upon the shelf.

When I bought her I was attracted by the red hot babe on the box
I asked the man for a plain paper bag and gave him 200 bucks
It claimed luscious Linda
Had real ling black hair and promised to fill me with delight
But I got shock when I opened the box that night
Instead of luscious Linda
She looked more like Fu man chu
And the instructions were written in Chinese
So I didn't have a clue.

What I really want is companionship
A great friend a kiss and hug
In a proper relationship
For I have so much love to give
And have a lot of life to live.

Someone I can trust and serenade on my piano or guitar
Someone with a nice car
If your that girl
No matter where you are
Please get in touch
And send a picture of the car.

No words, oily body sweats, city summer.
Desperate to get out and never return although
stalled on Triborough Bridge I admired the skyline.

My city, my death, I did it my way.
Counting your blessings a healthy activity,
the park out my back window, a job that pays.

But I am losing strength to fight
for the world in my imagination. Acceptance of reality
makes me a fossil of society.

Basho in old age found strength to walk
deep into the mountains. He visited famous sites
up north. Po Chu-i traveled mountains in his dreams.

You can leave at any time. You can return
without being seen. A way to learn
your insignificance, freedom to have never been.

The Tale of the Night Part 1

The window the moon looks like an eye,
And the wolves are howling behind the wall
The outside world is cruel,
And someone in the darkness coming for me...

In the darkness she heard sobs,
What, maybe there crying child?
But Chu... maybe it's the voice of the bittern?
That scream, or to wait for a guest who?

But no, the crying, not the child,
The cries in the dark succubus -
The vampire's daughter, in the village,
Heart suddenly lost...

Hungry in the village she flew,
Looking for a victim in the pitch darkness,
And as luck would have caught a couple -
He someone a home was drunk.

And our vamp deciding to wait,
While they parted,
Decided in the house to go to her,
After all, there is Rodney.

Sweetheart guy waited a long time
And I was ready to leave,
But then he ran,
All flushed from love.

Plays blood... do you smell that?
She is still in bloom.
Sweet, tall, curly hair,
Loved the guy more than anyone.

For her sake he was ready mountains,
Collapse on the way the two of them,
But only here did not know it was he,
Who met her on the way...
