Hi-Choo
Early spring in Corinth and I’m bathing in a pollen shower as fuzzy green seedlings are whisked here and there in the blustery March breeze, I sneeze!!
Remnants of last night’s thunderstorm cruse across the pale blue canvas of the afternoon sky as pine cones fluttering in the breeze make me sneeze, I sneeze, I I I I sneeze!!
Even the old crape Myrtle, pronounced deceased years ago, is budding and basking in the evening glow, her babies preparing to become leaves, and I sneeze sneeze sneeze , I sneeze, I sneeze
As you can see
Pollen damn near
Got the best of me
But let me catch
my breath
and finish my soliloquy
Old Magnolia, washed in Nature’s seasonal offering, regain their forest green state, after a brief bloom, branches swaying with ease and I sneeze sneeze sneeze I sneeze I I sneeze I sneeze
Wew!! Hi Choo!!
Ahh, ahh ahh choo
Gesunheit ahh choo
Ahh, ahh ahh choo
God bless you
Something irritates
Myself inner being
Acknowledge health mist in breath

August 2, 2023
'Coo coo ka choo' was used in Simon and Garfunkel's 1968 song “Mrs. Robinson". The phrase was used in the 60s and 70s as a way of saying 'all good' or 'everything is okay'.
Ahh-Choo
Cover your mouth please
whenever you sneeze ahh-choo
it' just the healthy and right
just polite to do
keeping your possible germs
sicknesses away thank-you

The Christmas Choo Choo is coming around the bend.
The joy she gives to children simply cannot end.
We are happy to see her, she brings such enjoyment to us.
She’ll be here in a minute, chugging on the railroad truss.
The Christmas Choo Choo is coming. She’ll be here in a bit.
She makes our hearts go pitty pat, she throws some into a fit.
I love everything about her; she makes me excited as a nitwit.
The Christmas Choo Choo is here. More later, now I sit.
( A parody to be sang to the tune of " Say I Do "
from the musical Mamma Mia )
You've got a cold
And your nose
You should blow it!
Oh A-choo!
A-choo. A-choo. A-choo. A-choo. A-choo.
Your throat's rough
And dry and you have
Puffy eyes!
Oh A-choo!
You don't have to use up all the tissues!
Your joints are aching.
You've got flu
And you know it!
Oh A-choo!
A-choo. A-choo. A-choo. A-choo. A-choo.
Two weeks have passed
And you feel
Great at last!
No " A-choo's! "
No " A-choo's! "
Here it comes,
April on the wing
squirrels chatter, birds sing,
flowers rise and grow
lilac scented pollen in the windy flow
oh no,
a tickle in my throat and nose,
this is spring, oh what a magical tease
forcing out each reckless cough and repetitive sneeze,
a screech to inertia, breathless explosive compulsion
from the mucosa of nasal integral expulsion,
ah, the wonders and beauty well spread
clogging and congesting brain cells in my aching head
ah choo, gesundheit, God bless,
it's spring bud and bloom at its very best
get me a tissue
for these beautiful and irritating issues,
hope it's an allergy and not the covid-19 flu.
my world took flight with appetite
those bastions precisely planned
slowly collapsed and caved
on shifting drifting sand
you were the screen in my submarine
the rubber crutch on which I lean
holes in my boat letting water out
and the sour in cabbage kraut
dominos fall
when the clock strikes two
a shrew flew over my cuckoo
and the shrew that flew is you
Petition to a Choo-choo Train
Oh, jolly little choo-choo Train;
Rolling quickly down the track.
Take him far away from me,
And never bring him back.
Take him far away;
So maybe I'll be free.
Cause the no-good likes of him.
Spells trouble just for me.
Take him far away from here.
Where I'll see the wretch no more.
He loves another woman;
And he's rotten to the core.
I wish he'd fly a silver bird;
Swiftly through the sky.
Or buy a big old Motor Bike,
And leave me here to die.
Oh jolly little choo-choo train;
Truly I implore.
Take him from my heart and mind.
So I won't see him anymore.
Move quickly little Choo-choo train;
Move quickly down the track.
So I can have some peace of mind,
Don't bring my Baby back.
fee- foo she wanna groove
give her space
so she can move
caught the beat cause the beat is funky
drop down
like ah funky monkey
study bouis
to pass yo' test
caught the groove when the
beat is fresh
dance a little
shang ah ling
come on baby
won't you do yo' thang
skop woop dee- dah dough
nappy headed afro
stringy hair
kinky too
gelled back
and plaited-up crew
getting it in
cause ya know you next
gone girl and cash that check
grind yo' thing
and get change foo twenty
swip swoop dat beat is
funky
Hopping on the me too choo choo
Generated a lot of power
By many who were wronged it's true
But could that mighty power sour?
Some might join for easy money
A case or two already haunt
The me too choo choo could derail
And nobody gets what they want!
I didn't have my
My hat or coat on it was
Twenty-three degrees
Socks, shoes, feet got wet
I was walking home in the
Midst of the blizzard
Got a cold and flu
Ahh Choo this ain't no haiku
Midst of the blizzard
Twenty-three degrees
Socks, shoes, hands, feet got wet
Got a cold and flu
Ahh Choo this ain't no haiku

The train whistle puffs
Frail familiarity
A world passes by
Muffled train sounds die away
White clouds of smoke drift behind
