My First Love

Just smiling, shining & indivisible,
All at the broader punch!
Alone approached the dependable,
Before-head a worst crunch.

My heart heading innocent,
Gave-up myself, my soul.
Wasn’t sure of the pretend,
To her, just in a joule!

She went, her shadows too,
Broke my heart in a bitter truth.
Cracked the confidence inside a blow,
I am at North, she’s at South!

You certainly would have,
What I had been living,
Yet, you will have,
What I am having!

Premium MemberCrayon Box Dreams

Crayon Box Dreams started song of my life.
Song sung from carefree innocent childhood.
   Mellifluous music, I couldn’t wipe.
   That ran in prelude-interlude-postlude.

   Childhood passed, entered in adolescence.
   World extended, becoming brighter broader.
   Life spreading scattering different essences.
Youth showing colourful spectrum in splendour.

Vibrant dynamic youthful days were gone.
    Ran sublime serene seniority.
    Lost importance in next generation.
    Felt misfit holding no priority.

Crayon Box Dreams still calling in last phase.
But all obsoleted : Dragging dull days.

Premium MemberThrough the Rabbit Hole

Used to slip from here to you
Through the rabbit hole we knew
Now the hole is filled with land
Rabbits fail to understand
When the night comes, I am here
At the place of our frontier
I can’t call you anymore
You won’t open your green door
I won’t enter, you won’t smile
I can’t go for many miles
Only by the special car
Time machine to where you are
You won’t tell your place of stay
You can’t hear what I say
Much interference and noise
Drown out my feeble voice
Still I wait, for I’m sure
You won’t left me insecure
There’s another rabbit hole
Slightly broader than the old
Slightly different path to go
Pretty sure you’ll say: I know..

equines

Equines
One really ought to start with the beginning, only it goes so long back
That it is impossible to remember.
I remember being born, but that was just an interlude, cold and
Unpleasant and being kissed by strangers.
I like horses, but that has nothing to do with my inception.
But then, was anyone ever born,
we are just a part of a bigger
A broader picture where we but an unconscious number
But I do like horses and would have loved galloping across some
Grassland and jumping over brooks.
And now we have emboli fever, which is either over-hyped,
Ten thousand dead by September, or is the new plague coming
To reduce our number, I would like to be a horse.
I wonder if the USA will ever be able to live for a whole year
Without starting a war somewhere

Premium MemberArt And Loving

Tendency is, to apportion
Love:

like slices of iced sweet
at a party

braying festive, 2 playful swipes
at a swinging, loaded donkey

(not the husband this time)

toffee for the dear loyal mate --

allotment of love, for precious children;

for all our Prayer-family, appealed
a canopy of blessed shade, like that
bible gourd,

cat and dog needing, also,
some petting reward – no special
reason...just because --

to the poet, as with painter,
superseding costume body of flesh,
art is voice-echo and representative
image

one's deeper beating sentient part

ventricle tools, the writing pad, the brush...

more poignant the words,
broader the expansive, lyrical stroke:
ruled paper or mystifying canvas~ the soul,
a bottomless well from which to
                                     creatively
                                        draw
fluid destinies

for controlled dabbing

abundant dashing-splashing

spirit-inspired

awesomely appealing

saturating pour --

The Edge of Time

I’m sitting on the edge of time
For just a disembodied pause,
While pointed hands o’er rounded chime
Obey the pendulum’s swayed cause.

Where kinetics’ course is lastly laid,
Comes forth the pointing to a door
That opens wide. Be not afraid,
I think, to thereupon explore.

And there I search the sea, in stay,
For those few drops that speak of me.
Below a crystal clouded day,
I look for cause and clarity.

But deep inside, my inner clock
Is calling forth its metered rhyme.
Inclined I am to learn like Locke,
I’m also tuned by trembling tine.

The edge of time is thinner than
The fairest maiden’s finest hair,
Yet broader is the settled plan
That puts us just exactly there.

Premium MemberNot Always So

Just as it’s not always so
First thought is best thought
There’s always exceptions to the rule
Or to put it directly,
Rules are made to be broken,
Or more charitably
Rules are by nature fluid
Suited to conditions which are always
By definition conditional.

And so my rule of thumb for poetry
Less is more
Jostles with the other three axioms of creation;
Less is less
More is less
More is more
Always needing to be considered
In the broader context
Of what is being said
And to whom.

Premium MemberEpitaph

I’m dead, but did I ever live?
Nobody gives a damn
I had to take, I had to give
Not knowing who I am
So that was it, and what to say
Let me convey to you
You see life in a broader way
And in a longer view
So speak for me, what its about
What difference it makes
From living of a garden sprout
Since moment it awakes
To get a share of sun and moon
And rains and deadly snow
What its about, ends too soon
I didn’t have time to know.

Premium Memberi eat dessert and don't go for walks - you feel me?

me mate duckbill platypus
feels claustrophobic in my car

me other mate asked me to be his running buddy
we ran once, then he said it was too cold

what a load of rubbish
the river of death that finishes a hard life

when we ran, he fell to his knees
calling for a chair

we stopped at the McDonald's drive-thru and
Jericho in the back started talking into the speaker

about the haunting impact of one's past actions
and personal choices that have broader

societal implications
when we pulled up at the window

they gave him a burger

Or jacket and what makeup were they.? At Yorktown the
Seminal day.' Am I right in denying the existance of the
Broader scenes if you cant furnish this one instance.?

Premium MemberChanges

Changes can’t improve the present
Changes come to throw away
Things you like because you have it
Cheaper, than you could have paid
Changes, for the sake of nation!
Better take it as a child
Plays a ball, in pure elation
Happy with its childish mind
Who would need an extra worry?
Nerve cells can’t regenerate
Changes kick you with no sorry
Changes can rejuvenate
You’ve been feeling old for ages
Now you’re paying well to get
Changes, for the sake of changes
Don’t you dare to feel upset
You’re abide to old arrangements
Got to think a little broader:
Country can be saved by changes
From the chaos and disorder
Wave your flag and do the dance
Money’s evil, as you know
Changes can provide a chance
To get rid of all you own
Think how many times you envied
Little birds that fly so high
Rub your back, if it has winged
Climb a roof, and off you fly..

Premium MemberYOU CANNOT FAIL

What would you do,
What heights would you sail,
If you really knew
You could not fail?

Would you talk to yourself
In a brand new, positive way?
Would you only listen to the
Encouraging things people say?

Would you take bigger chances
And blaze new trail?
Would you reach for the stars,
If you could not fail?

Would you create a new life
Filled with happiness, joy and light?
Would you open your mind and heart
To a greater vision and broader insight?

The Universe is on your side and
Only wants you to succeed.
So, affirm success with every thought,
Kind words, growing hope and generous deed.

You can achieve each goal and dream,
Your heart can possibly hold.
So, be brave and true, stay focused.
Remain confident and bold.

The Creator of the Universe will support you
With abundant, flowing multiple streams.
You cannot fail if you don’t waiver,
And fight for your biggest dreams.

Premium MemberOn life

Quote: “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” -- Mae West

Life's a puzzle, quite unknown,
With pieces lost and found anew.
The more you force the parts to align,
The more you see they don't quite knit.
Get out of the tangled web,
Step back, take a broader view,
And see life reveal its subtle aspects,
In the gaps and twists, you'll explore,
The art of living,
Well defined.

Wings of your blings

You make your intelligence stings,
Because their knowledge to you stinks,
Wherever you are, your wisdom sings,
'Cos you got it abundant from the King of kings.

Even when your handsomeness blinks,
It shines brighter than the most expensive blings,
Not comparable to the values of any earthly things,
That's why wise people give your arms good clings.

With success you daily enjoy a fling,
The new arrivals in your accounts daily send your phone a ping,
It's even a broader smile when your phones ring,
Richness in your life never stops making money tings.

Emotive love is in your heart deposited in bings,
It is lots of goodness that being your friend brings,
Your greatness is appreciated by all human beings,
That's why good tidings from you can never develop wings.
