My ice blue eyes

Ice blue eyes ~ gaze lovingly at you
Radiating ~ joy to all I see
My motto ~” show kindness to all”
A smile chases all the blues away

Blue butterfly ~ flutters by
Such beauty to behold
I love nature, wildflowers, trees,birds,bees
All radiate God’s love

Stop what your doing ~ smell the roses
Be thankful to be alive
You are enough my friend
The world a better place because your in it.

Put on your coat or hoodie like me
Let’s go a walk in beauty that surrounds us
Autumn is springing forth
Awesome colours to brighten your day

Frank Sinatra 1915-1998

A woman was known as a 'broad' in the U.S.
and I'm more broad-minded when there I confess
a woman was called a 'bird' in the U.K.
so when in Blighty as for me
altho' there's a pecking order
in the bird-watching hierarchy
I'm an eagle-eyed if not avid avian attendee
and yet Ol' Blue Eyes
should have paid more attention
for when he said, 'Let me be frank with you,'
and went on to sing, 'Egrets, I've had a few
but then again too few to mention,'
he proved to be a poor ornithologist
as there were not a lot of birds
(or broads) on his watcher list

Blue Eyes, Are you There

I wonder what blue eyes doing today
Missed our life's way
Since first day our meeting
all the sparks on
Her ability to show a genuine
Lady I came to adore
Words of upfront with passion flowing
Desire grew strong while
exploring
She was maybe everything
we both wanted
Life isn't fair, as feelings
get started and erupted
My path changes with unknown time frame ,
Miles separated our love's
flame
Oh if our love plant within
hearts
My feelings thrive despite apart
Worried of holding back what
you deserve, I let go
Calls lessened but love arose
As we date others, no one spark ever
Blue eyes your my eyes to always cherish

I Don't See What You See

Sparrows enjoy a certain reputation
For intimacy and hope

Crosby Stills and Nash sang of them
In Suite: Judy Blue Eyes
As compatriots to the morning
Air
With guitar strums and high notes

Truth be told
Sparrows are bulkier than the normal song bird
And not particularly
Pretty
Brown and gray as a mound of dirt

Chirpy jerky punk band

And they have no problem with crowding out
From a bush or bird feeder
Finches and chick-a-dees

They’re kind of a bully

Push around those that are smaller
Who carry pouches of yellow and pink
And tiny symphonies

They clog up my eavestroughs with nests

Right now
I watch one sparrow land on top of another
And the tree branch bends down
Under their heft

Bounces up and down
To their sex
Again

The limb
Seemingly
Waving them off

Or so it tries

As if it’s saying
Get off me you animals.

Premium Member Your Blue Eyes are My Blue Skies

From the moment I first saw you
Something in me changed
And then when I first heard you sing
My heart was rearranged
I'd heard the voice of beauty
If such could be described
Unprepared and unexpected
My senses came alive

Though I tried hard to ignore them
They always had this knack
The more that I resisted
The stronger they came back
Quite frankly though, I liked it
Excitement reigned anew
And ever since that moment
My sky's always been blue

Is she trying to be sensuous
Or is twirling her hair merely a habit?
Larry stared at the woman in the next booth
Her alabaster complexion would give movie stars jealousy
The twirling continued; and he smiled
She looked like one of his younger sisters
Another beauty who did not know it
Her sky blue eyes looked up and met his, and they both smiled

Blue eyes
The beads seller
Snatches the heart of love
Girl of the Ascetic Kumbh Fair
Warmly

Blue Eyes

Let the erotic flower bloom in the stormy waves of pink heart
Let the purified verse of the conjugal life come to the breaths
Let the autumnal drizzling flutters to the window of romance

Two blue eyes and a button nose

Two blue eyes and a button nose
Features so striking all with the right pose
Wrapped in a frame so petite and slim
Looks so gorgeous, proper and prim
With a voice so melodious and smile so sweet
She is the one for whom my heart would skip a beat
Remember popping pop corns with Mary Poppins?
And with Sound of Music a treat so therapeutic
Julie Andrews with whom I cruised
Two blue eyes and a button nose
Gave my childhood a big happy dose

twinkling, burning glow
blowing away each shadow
in your eyes, soft sighs

If only your blue eyes can be mine
To gaze into, in sunlit rooms.

Premium Member His Daughter's Robin Egg Blue Eyes

My daughter’s robin egg blue eyes stop people on the subway.
They have never seen such gorgeous eyes, not on a Friday.
Maybe not on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday either.
They oftentimes stop and stare said her father, Sleither.

Premium Member waiting for the girl with the blue eyes

Lee had dreamed of a woman with blue eyes.
It is only a dream! Everyone told him.
I think she is my soul mate, he said.
I am holding out for her.

He held out and held out and held out.
The only sibling in his family who was not married.
His family was hounding him now.
They wanted him married and happy.

I have not found her! He persisted.
Finally they wore him down.
He dated a girl with brown eyes.
At their wedding dance he saw the girl with the blue eyes.

Chasing ghosts

Think I heard it for the first time today.
That laugh.
Like hot chocolate on a winter day.

It felt like something that melts your heart.
A buoyant feeling,
Which makes a dying heart restart.

Are they aquamarine or ocean eyes?
Spending a second too long,
Fills your body with butterflies.

A bittersweet feeling, a poisonous state,
Like dropping from a high,
It’s a bit too difficult to wait.

Living in my head 24/7 rent free,
Hope you’re not annoyed,
Just wondering, do you ever notice me?

She's mine

I know a little girl with eyes so blue,
She's very lovely too.
She melts my heart when she looks
at me.
She's got the cutest little way of crinkling
her nose,
Her little cricket smile makes me smile
too.
One of the happiest baby girls I've ever
known,
And that alone makes me know I'm doing this
parenting thing right.
The best part of all, is I get to call her
mine.
