She don't blink

my block got bones
made of brick and breath.
she bleed through cracked hydrants,
catch cigarette ash like snowflakes,
and see like a fly to death.
her ribs? fire escapes-
bent, rust-bit, bruised.
kids dangle off ‘em like loose teeth,
their joy just one cracked step from falling.
she don’t blink.
she sees the crackhead two buildings over
lean so far out the window
it look like

BLINK
Green Light --
Farewells strung

Dawn whisks in a flash
Lost among zooms of speed
Exiting from my blank life

“ Memories throb in empty beats.”

Holding on and not letting go is more of what my heart tends to show,
To bring myself clarity and loves reward,
To understand that there's so much more,
So many give up, too many walk away,
Believing they have it all figured out every day,
When the truth is change can come quickly and new perspectives arrive,

In the blink of an eye 

As thoughts are most often linked ,
Ours minds eye attracts as if by instinct,

You become so distraught & than come alive ,
Sparking a thought that's barely revived ,

Causing a cosmic divide of prayers built from love ,
Thankfully blessed like the flight of a dove ,

As you look back from

ETERNITY IN A BLINK

Eyes locked, hearts spoke.
Love knocked, feelings woke.
I smiled, she blushed.
She mirrored, i gushed.

I was the fire but i melted .
She was the ice  but "sun-hot".
Time danced slow as our minds began to plot
A story forged through the fire of desire,
Inked with hearts that synced in accord.  
Strangers, familiar along the pages of prospects.

Wedding

We’re free when we blink

We’re free when we blink, in time’s pause
but otherwise we’re not,
so it’s best we discern the cause
of trance to be self-taught.

Path to freedom jump start,
employ mind of the heart,
in stillness, a learnt art.

We sink when we think ~

wary bird on watch
stares back, knows its being watched
who dares to blink, first

Blink of your eyes

Time is but a fleeting thought. 
More is always sought.
Never can be bought. 
A moment in time.
No everlasting rhyme.
Blink of your eyes.
The darkening skies.
......It flies....
You're young then old.
I'm sure you've been told.
Time is a precious gift.
Give others a lift
 Learn to fly
.....Don't know why.....
Time is irrelevant, so I'm told.
But, may I be bold.

   In yourn cerebrum'z
             Think

Can ya feel hern pretty
    Twirl'n 'bout mine
gaze'n at yourn look's
            

Love written with a faint ink

I'm writing on your heart with a faint ink,
you have to look so close without a blink
to understand you must really think
and when you do, alas, you must then wink,
how from the milk of love you made me drink
with my glass not making a single cling.

In wordless thoughts I live today
Just looking at the pics of you
Like buzzing flies, words fly away
While I am sitting in your room
But then of course, the words return
As soon as I do realize
How lucky I am to discern 
Your beauty from so many miles
You smile, you speak, you kiss, you think
You hum the melodies
