Blink
A year is gone

Cough
Your toddler is getting married

Yawn
You are in a nursing home

Yes
It is that fast.

In a Blink of An Eye

In a blink of an eye,
      time flows,
      game undoes,
     world alters ...!
     life revives
     death flips..

don’t blink

riding this little now
a ripple catching light
atoms in a dance with life
holding wisdom tight

Blink

Every blink of an eye, is like bits of frame skipped from a movie
Every long shuts of an eye, is like a deleted scene off the adventures of life

In the Blink of An Eye

blink, blink,
so quick, so slick
almost circumnavigates,
the dot of time,

sometimes a mere
dot of nano-time
decides if you
live or die....

Making Me Blink

Sitting around, with my riches:
Owning bills with values of thousands.
When I blink my eyes and see...
It's only polished metals making me blink.

Premium Member Blink Twice

When we're young
  life's journey endless
Seems 'twill last forever

Blink twice, we're old
  trail's turned to dust
Horizon lost ~ now is never

Blink

In a blink of eye
An year passed or as decade
Made all of my dreams dry
With your compassion to fade
Still illusions or I say expectations were high

Taste
The life
In the blink
Of an eye things
Can change forever

Blink and Wink -1- Prioritising

Blink and Wink, were both wearing mink
On a lofty boat that was about to sink
Oh no they said
We’re going to be dead
We better hurry up and finish our drink

BLINK Green Light -- Farewells strung Dawn whisks in a flash Lost among zooms of speed Exiting from my blank life “ Memories throb in empty beats.”

In a Blink

window glazed by stars as light hangs on pendulum dwindling much quicker than hours of long duskfall … gone in a blink through time’s frame.

into a crowd
Of noises twixt the silence blink

A Whispered Blink
            by Odin Roark

The poet lives the allegory of a whispered blink
Knowing the harsher the voice
The less one hears
The longer the eye dwells
The less one sees

One bright star sticks out in sky

Eye blink of meaning.

A Wink Instead of a Blink

There once was a man, who had a glass eye.
Who tried to bake, a lemon meringue pie
    While his aim was obtuse,
    As he squeezed lemon juice.
He winked, but only his glass eye stayed dry.

Blink and Wink -2- Left Bare

Well, Blink and Wink, survived the sinking ship
They took off their minks and cursed such a trip
They swam to the shore
Their muscles were sore
But now they were both, standing in the nip

Eyes That Blink

Eyes that blink and flash so bright
Can see whats there at dark of night
Eyes that catch life in a flash
A families love or waters splash
When all has changed or gone away
Leaves what will forever stay

Blink

Those seconds tumble
as your lids reveal your eyes
as light like a sweet fuelled child
hurriedly entering a park
scrambles to touch
hues beauty
and infinity has no time
aching for something i have never known

Blink

Sometimes I think God made you especially for me.
Somehow we missed each-other in the early part of our lives, but I am thankful to have you if for only a blink of my existence.
For in that moment I have enjoyed a life time.

Blink and the world puts you in last

Hands shaping the future ahead of you,

While yours still reach for what has already passed.

What slips away was never meant for you.

Let empty hands make space for something new.

Blink

Life is a blink,
As a flash I think,
Our lives are so complex,
Here one moment and gone the next.

Oh how we fail to see,
What is really important for you and for me,
Is to live in the now,
And remember God and our blessings somehow.
