The Graduate

Just after sunset, the brightest star emerged
With Plethoric distinctions, it reached the sky
No cut-off,
With an urge,
The destination she reached in record time.

She's carrying wealth from the qatar,
A degree in hand, now deserves a trip to Zanzibar
As a bright future taking off.
A success story let's celebrate,
Launch another missile
We are ready for another blastoff.

With passion she is blooming,
And with fire her soul is fuming.
Obstacles she turned into stepping stones,
And that is worth acknowledging.

Proud I am,
And I know the best is yet to come,
With her potential so limitless.
The world awaits more of such light.
Congratulations on such an occasion,
Our graduate, yet again a full pedagogical practitioner.

Third rock from the sun
Swirling through space
Strap in for the ride
Circling as carrying the human race

Neatly nestled in the solar system
Subtly situated intergalactically
Calmly connected to everything
Floating through time romantically

Revolving around the sun
Orbit on a predetermined route
However our trajectory not set in stone
We have autonomy to plan our path of pursuit

Starts with surrounding yourself
In a safe and supportive universe
Stacked up with a stellar cast
Simply sustaining your worth

Flexibility now afforded to experiment
Galaxy is yours to endlessly explore
Opportunities of cosmic proportions
As you now have the keys to unlock any door

Your rocket ship is ready for takeoff
No dream you have will be too bizarre
World is awaiting your ascent through the atmosphere
You're free to live your life as a shining star

Dark eyes awakening
drifting between the haze
illuminates one of Us.
chromatic spirits cooling out
vintage happiness memories;
it's all weightless Vibes
soul plated candy dancing dreams
Red Line eternities-give way to
Chosen notions, blinding Emotions
taking their Earthly toll
devouring human convulsions.
bridge that "generational" gap
albeit symbiotic synaptic slaps
silencing one's eclectic Ego
in an ever after mindless trap.
Light degrees in salient Soulology
moving all essence plentitudes
into a governing afterlife scope
of interdimensional compositions,
evaluating peace with weeping walls
of convivial conscious levity.
Plasticine modalities of Elder agreements.
Mo' better inner peace.

Premium MemberI Fear Its Stench

Feeling a rumbling deep in my gut
I'm not quite sure what that’s all about
as I clench the sphincter in my butt.

Something rank is trying to get out
and based upon my bloated bowel
it's going to succeed; I've no doubt.

I might need to throw in the towel
as past experiences affirm
and yet, I fear its stench could be foul.

An internal pressure makes me squirm
and I’m counting down to the blastoff
when this gassy build-up comes to term.

There is no way I can put this off
and yet, to concede may not be smart
even when it’s disguised, with a cough.

What if it turns out it's not a fart,
but its embarrassing counterpart?

Teens in love sleep under the stars

I took my peaches
To the beaches
We parked the car
Looked up at the stars
A wise voice went off
Was father's scoff
Not milk the cow, now
til your wedding vows
What her father said
daughter is well bred
No creep's to her bed
Boy, Are we understood
Yes sir, I'll be good
So good to hear, great
So go out and have a fun date
We had first drove around
Waved to friends in town
Sang some tunes
twice bought balloons
laughed it off
her father's scoff
to shake and bake we go
with milk shakes in tow
to beach and our desires
hearts ragging on fire
to our favorite spot
hidden from being caught
with my peaches
at the beaches
now back to where we were
stars above a blur
ovens a baking
cars a shaking
windows a foggy mist
from racing bliss
two teens in love
no voices above
caring free
to spree
to her father's scoff
we now blastoff

The Twilight Zone

Driving along the dark deserted road,
only noise I heard was the croak of a toad,
passing on either side the silhouettes of the trees,
my window rolled down enjoying the cool autumn breeze,

Turning on my sirius radio to a brand new station,
hearing a familiar voice saying theres an invasion,
Rod Sterling comes on and tries to warn me,
too late the trees come alive and I've nowhere to flee!

Quickly getting out my husband's chainsaw from the trunk,
I finally on the third try crank it up with a little luck,
the huge alien trees surrounding me not realizing I'm American and tough,
run away like sapling sissy's to their waiting ufo's and quickly blastoff.

Premium MemberPreparing For Blastoff

*For Matt's How to Build a Spaceship Contest

How do we create an airship that soars?
The answer was Roswell’s, but it could be yours

Make the long trek to Area 51
To find secrets that lie beyond our sun

Use a metal that is lighter than tin foil
Load the fuel tank with something cheaper than oil

Beam us up, Scotty, to the Enterprise
And view technology through a Vulcan’s eyes

Defrost Walt Disney’s cryogenic brain
To help us design the computer’s mainframe

Call Mulder and Scully out of retirement
Their UFO knowledge is alien-sent

Be sure to use tiles that don’t overheat
Like those that cast Challenger down to defeat

Let’s add Stephen King to the construction crew
If “Christine” could talk, our spaceship should too

Then let’s send the tab for NASA to pay
What happened to our space program bucks anyway?

Now we can blast Congress into outer space
For the lot in D.C., there’s no better place

Wanting More

A fusion of skin
daylights a night
blisters of sin
roared with delight

Wreathed in the balms
soothing my thigh
springs of pure charm
glow in the night

Consuming passion
fire licks to switch
thrashing to free
lip starts to twitch

Weaving his spell
to bedazzle my soul
ecstasy swelling
losing control

Wind thrashing hair
caressed my shape
together were paired
in mountains landscape

Rolling like hills
covers thrown off
blood trilling thrills
close to blastoff

Floating to earth
shook to the core
‘Would I be greedy
by asking for more?’
