strongest cloven fiend
a face adored by Venus
beautiful bestial body
so loved by God in Genesis
take the crimson string
tied upon his velvety hide
red thread cuts the skin
ankles bound for the ride
hoisted on the mantle
an all engulfing spiral
upon pearlescent horns
blackish fur of desire
dark red heart
beating at his side
a full blooded kiss
could never be denied

Babble on, Babylon!— The bell is bellowing
Its booming bane! Bastards and baseborn bumblers
Beware, and beg bitterly for better
Birth above! O’ you bashful, bawdry bunch!
He who disregards truth and justice
Will sooner or later go the whole hog;
His bestial appetites and habits,
His love of cruelty and power eventually will take over
Perhaps without him ever realizing the danger.
He is not only beyond the control of others
But beyond his own control.
He does no good ( like rainless clouds or fruitless trees,
Heaping abuse on anything he doesn't understand;
Spoiling the fellowship meals with his irreverent behavior.
He lives at the mercy of his brutish instincts,
Looking after Himself instead of caring for his brother.
Like storm, he leaves behind him shame and disgrace;
like the dirty foam left along the beach by the wild waves.
He's like stars that have wandered into outer space and give no light,
He grumbles about everything and have a huge chip on his shoulder.
He is one in reign,
A loud-mouthed show-off
Who flatters others for his own advantage
And give free reign to his evil desires.
Sensual and untamed
Thought, crystallizes into
Hedonistic foe.
I had a dream of a joyless man,
sitting in the ruins of paradise.
With flat voice and cold words
he told me his tale,
While the biting wind swept up flurries of snow ...
His was a people that laughed and dreamed.
Wrote poems, sang music, and danced in the light.
Crafting, artistic, industrious, pure ...
kept safe by their warriors like him.
But from over the horizon there came a dark race.
A people who knew not but war.
Who could stand against the marvelous engine?
Hungry wolves too familiar with pain.
They came without warning.
Struck without pause.
Tore our women from our corpses
with their bloodyhanded claws.
And I was struck on the head
in the midst of it all.
Fell as if dead,
but I woke from my fall.
Every fragment of the past
brings pain beyond words.
See here - this tambourine?
My little girl used to play it.
Now how will she dance again?
***
I woke with a gasp.
There's a riddle I can't solve:
How can peaceful goodness
withstand the assault
of bestial machines
specialized for destruction?
I cannot say how,
but God grant me strength
to protect beauty
from the darkness.

raging wildfires burn with bestial fury
toxic smoke saturates the Lower 48
smoky air sears through lethargic lungs

When a swaying wind gets mad,
It’s addressing what is sad:
I‘d wanted to say ‘The Bad ‘
As stained as hating one’s dad
And as gross: dumping one’s lad
For losses through care of wad:
They’re crimes with stings of a bee:
The bestial we pay its fee…
An Eve a face reserves scowl
And the wind maintains its howl,
For having its motive seen:
A future like horror scene…
The startling sight of green leaves
Us consoles over what grieves.
Don’t their wrought dances of grace
Reduce the heat of men’s race?.
Note I Nature gratifies
More than kitchen satisfies.
Cold was the night when I sat down
The dimples on my cheeks were brown
When they're supposed to be bright red
The fear had gone into my head
I began scribbling with my pen
Words flowed out from that inky den
And danced with the flickering candlelight
Like Goosebumps tales told at night
Indeed it was a gruesome sight
Alone with ghouls of fear and fright
Stories were spewed and told again
Of wars, trust, betrayal and pain
of dragons, knights and leprechauns
And Chimera dining with djinns and fauns
Where Wellington cried Waterloo
And China hugged the Spanish flu
I was caught unaware that time flies
Caught in Anansi's web of endless lies
And bestial shapes spurned the papyrus
Groveled in oil exhumed from Cyprus
As Bucephalus crowned Archimedes
With the golden armor of Diomedes
The LNM stilled the North seas
The West, under siege from zom- bees
And the myth and magic of the ethereal
That mad, mad world, unseen for real
All came as one in blatant prose
There time and my pen both froze
The cosmos had let and closed the deal
The life surged to the inky seal
I felt a sudden chill down m'spine
Just at my door was Frank-in-stein
I tell a dangerous lie
I love you,
Without you I'll die
I tell a glanderous lie
Life is meaningless without love
Death is sighing cry
I tell a blunderbuss lie
I believe myself within You
Belief is practical sigh
I tell a slanderous lie
Human I’m, better creation on earth
Bestial nature is my pie
I tell a blooper lie
Devil of hell is nowhere
Nasty mind lives everywhere as high
I tell something more than lie
That’s truth in the crowded opinion
Believers discriminate but belief has no eye

In sundry ways deaf to your zeal
Which foxy whims fruitless sway,
My wandering self did finally feel
Pearliest sparks of your legit ray.
Inured by bestial blinding decoys
Which easiest-faring limb obeys,
I did heed a deluding artful voice
That upon artless hearers preys.
For want of fine wholesome sense
Which your ancient anthems teach,
My guessing soul staggered tense;
Serf to a brutish debauching leech.
Yet now have my penitent eyes
At last gleaned your folios wise,
And found therein priceless wit
Sublimer than sage magi's writ.
If cold callous hope eats your innards
like wriggling worthless worms,
trust in the Lord who will definitely
warm your dissolute soul.
For we all have sanguine expectations,
bright prospects laced with confidence.
And oft we rely on our self convictions,
refusing help or never given spontaneously.
We fly from hope to hope,
like birds that search for the early worm.
Only to find we've lost our battle,
a sour taste on our palate
and loss of confidence on self and neighbour
not to mention putting all the blame on Him
who could have helped us spontaneously.
But think carefully my friend,
for this journey is full of bestial storms,
where thunder and lightning are deadly at times.
Yet He has given us great hope
for He provides us with what we need,
a break in the dark clouds above.
My life I leave without a fight
Those vile creatures in their spite
Have taken hold of all I own
And dragged me back to where they roam
The forests of the night.
Their eyes aglow with bestial greed
They slither round at sickening speed
Their sympathy is no defence
Their clamouring but a mere pretence
It‘s my raw grief they need.
It’s me they crave but not my flesh
These weeping wounds that bleed afresh
But lubricate the coiling mesh
That tight encircles me.
They feast upon my fear and pain
And stoke the embers yet again
To full blown tragedy.
Yet still no tears have I let flow
The bleak despair I’ll never show
That they would have me cede
Should I find arms to confort me
So loving and strong they'd have to be
Seeking not to stem the bleed.

His life was marked by infinite strides,
Breakable down into a chanted psalm;
And a doleful hymn after psalters' word,
Plus a petition to bid the kingdom come.
Keener listeners his recitals yet might hear
In plaintive crescendos in misty auras near;
Are not his footsteps bold in deathless ink,
On dark planes along the latent silvery link?
His ever-pledged faith soared on basis lean:
Choice psalms to check soul's bubbly brims;
Caroled hymns to shut heart's bestial whims;
Tacit prayers for mind and conscience clean.
Opposing these no devilish heads may rise;
No mortal skin more lethal ammunitions kept
In trinity synchrony winning wars against vice;
Blazing witty fires beyond Eden's eternal debt.
With a psalm and a hymn and contrite prayer,
He fought and slew old fogs that trillions dare.
I'll write of things lamentable like poor shipwrecked loves,
Tempest-tossed by bestial winds behind unfeeling storms;
Ripped apart by the furious middles of swift-gusting winds,
Voyaging to dream-born shores away from boring homes.
I'll tell of the Fate-shattered dreams of earth's surest bet.
Painting how those naive shoots untimely waterloos met,
Leaving tender footprints new on antiquity's fierce sands;
Blossoming stars offed by hard luck's experienced hands.
My verse will endeavor to weave history's accurate tales.
Parodying villainy within quiet complacency's stronghold,
Shaming eccentricities in black nooks by raw truth untold;
Inking sagest anecdotes that any finessed raconteur hails.
Of first-hand swills or soured affectations I will not write.
For the self-loving bard’s quill falters from black to white,
As he relives a narcissist's replica of alleged first-felt lots,
And his best tropes mimic mere ego-embellished reports.
I leave it to unaffected pens immune to self-patting twists,
To write of this modest scribe's little turns and weird gists.
