Sitting on the cusp of dusk and evening
Placidly he ruminates where life has been
When she still believed in vibrant springs
And exulted dawning of purple mornings
Echoing exuberance of seasons’ calling
Fragile, yet colorful, as autumnal leaves
Delicate, aesthetic, as snowflakes falling--
Until she chose to surrender her dreams.

Oh! how fervently she cherished streams
Zigzagging ebulliently on their property
Digging lanes through prairies dark green,
Giggling, rushing, curving, on life-journey,
Pointing zealously, how to redirect destiny
Hosting daydreams of daffodils, milkweeds,
And tranquil bliss edifying lotus sanctuary.

Pity, neither did he feel her zestful appeal,
Nor could he allay those spaces left empty--
Between life as it is, and life that could be--
Saddled by incongruence defying harmony.

Lonesome he wailed tracing her footprints:
Cheered birds singing, doted stars twinkling,
Breathed-in her air scented with jasmines,
Buzzed in moth-passions of nocturnal winds,
Gazed deep woods where moon was rising,
And found her there, but not her meaning.

Yet, she came by, reminiscing through time,
Staying long enough, scanning the night skies--
But much as she tried, the Venus didn’t smile,
Alas! when she left, that was final goodbye.

(Sing to the tune of Close to You, by
the Carpenters)

Why, O, why this night has nary a clue
Yet, my darling how you always knew
Dream of the night is just me and you
Just me and you

Why, O, why stars up high zealously pry
When doting moon vies marigold skies
They love it too, the dream is so true
Just me and you

When so far you are, yet so close you feel
How earnestly whispers of longing plea
Unveil gently the missives of memories
Just you and me, sweet as can be, yearning to be

Why, O, why nightingales echo the tune
When song of the dawn robins croon
They love it too, the dream is so true
Just me and you

When so far you are, yet so close you feel
How earnestly whispers of longing plea
Unveil gently the missives of memories
Just you and me, sweet as can be, yearning to be

Why, O, why this night has nary a clue
Yet, my darling how you always knew
The song of the dawn is just me and you
Just me and you

The song of the dawn is just me and you
Just me and you

Ah, just me and you
La, just me and you
Ah, just me and you
La, just me and you

Premium Member Imaginary Departures

Rain drizzling on the window pane
Sullen moments, filled with melancholy
Wishes glued to hopes of sunshine
Rays washing away the storm clouds,
The gray day – the tempestuous darkness

Nothing in life ever felt quite as dismal
As the overcast moments when I was left
To my own devices, my own pretenses
Inside the house, where nothing felt as pleasant
As the wonders, the wildness, of the outdoors

As gloom settled into my pores, releasing
Me from the melted boredom, the dullness
Inside, where I only had a tv, books, board
Games and, of course, those imaginary departures
From those homemade paper airplanes…
Who soared, eagerly, riotously – toward destinations
Unknown, into cities and towns where I felt
The racing of my pulse as my heart sped zealously
Reminding me that this was a journey, a freedom
Far freer than any other I had been on…

For this was the flight that would take me –
Into kingdoms, fantasies, imaginary places
Where I could build fictional metropolises
Fantastic castles – rich and amazing moments
That were colored in hues of fanciful inventions
From a mind who was irked by the dismal wet weather

Premium Member Adoration of Nature

Adrift in silent tranquillity, admiring a
Backdrop of nature's charm and grace.
Clarion cloudless sapphire skies above
Depict the state of calmness in my mind.
Eyes admire an abundance of blossoming
Flowers, red tulips, lilac lilies and bluebells.
Growing around lush emerald meadows.
Heart is at ease watching robins in trees.
Instrumental echoes of their chirps among
Japanese cherry blossom buds are so fragile.
Kindred spirits of nature entwine with my soul,
Lingering in the harmony of serenity and purity.
Mind is overcome with a sense of sadness.
Numb to the atrocities causing Earth's demise.
Overdose of pollution conflicts our existence
Painful reminders are shown through disasters
Questioning the actions of global leaders
Reluctant to change their imperialistic needs.
Secretly increasing their imperialistic desires.
Trying to fool us, whilst abusing our habitat with
Unjust behaviours destroying the ecological system.
Vegetation covered in pesticides genetically modified, yet
World is still full of poverty, hunger and drought with
Xenophobes increasing injustices for minorities.
You can only strive for global betterment, by
Zealously fighting the mental process of humanity.

Premium Member Satiating Dreams of Forbidden Themes

Desires whisper in shadow of Venus
And seduce intentions of clandestine love
As rhythms attuned to romantic beats
Pulsate zealously in galactic utopia.

Bashful moon titillates lustrous vibes
In interstellar space of floating nebulae
As symphony of emotions arouses
Throbbing hearts in exotic euphoria.

Sizzling bodies elevate mystical aura
Flooding blood-veins’ cosmic jubilation
And longings waltz on sensuous clouds
As jolt of excitement inflames bosoms.

A tango of passions presents a ballet
For one more spin on planetary stage
High on elation of moonlit ecstasy
Savoring kisses of heavenly blessings,

Satiating dreams of forbidden themes
Unlocking secrets of mysterious galaxy.

Premium Member Idealized Love

I watch as they repeat their vows,
Darling granddaughter and her love.
Each looks into the other's eyes
As though directed from above.
Loving them both, I say a prayer.
I pray the fairy tale will last.
Zealously, jealously I beg,
Each day their love remains steadfast
Dear Lord, for them I dare to ask.

Love that grows stronger every day,
Oh, how I wish that for these two.
Vows remembered and vows renewed,
Each partner staying strong and true.

After All of These Years

After all of these years,
Because you have stuck by me through thick and thin,
Candidly, I can tell the world that I love you more each day.
Dawns come and sunrises go, but your love never waivers.
Every morning you tell me that you love me and kiss my heart.
Forever is a long time, but life would be nothing without forever with you.
Generations change ideas and habits, but one thing remains constant.
Happiness is sought after, prayed for, cried for, and even died for.
I cannot imagine, now that I have found you, myself without you.
Just as flowers need the rain, I need your smile, your trust, and your dreams.
Kindled by your embers, my soul seeks no more.
Love has smitten me and my happiness has been found with you.
Memories fade in comparison to the passion in your soul.
No person, except by God strengthened, could give as you do.
Omnipotent, everlastingly, and consistently you are here for me.
Protecting, caring, and serving without fail, God watches.
Question not whether I know how wonderful you are. I do!
Remember the days of yore when love was new and dreams were large.
Somehow, locked inside of me is the strength that you shared, the love.
Tomorrow may see hardships, but together we can overcome all things.
Undying commitment keeps us two, forever strong.
Victory comes by rising above struggles.
We walk and the ground floats beneath our feet.
Xanadu looses luster without you.
Yesterdays have become beautiful tomorrows.
Zealously, our souls soar and joy sustains our love.

Dreaming In Ink

Acquiesced amongst gypsy stardust,
      dance of aroused blissfulness
knees went weak mid a zealously flirtatious
sunset, as skies intensity was enraptured
      mid fierce moonbeam's caressing zeal,
fulfilling a wickedly wild aching surrender
      within ardor's aroused captivation,
enthralling enchantingly obscure sunrise
   sensations of endmost satiated fervency,
  shorelines met heavens verve
     breathless in exhalations' celestial passion,
chanted to the gods 'tween fiery escapism
     risen above darkly inclined constellations,
        'til consummated resplendence of night
            burst forth in explosive exaltation
              dreamt of ink's splendiferous poetry

Premium Member Allow Me To Dream Your Dreams

Allow me ~ to be your dream of dawning
When song of love the robins are singing
While rustles of trees whisper to soft winds
And golden morning is rising ebulliently
Etching purple skyline tinged in amethyst
As halo of its luminance is glinting the sea,
Allow me~ my dear~ to dream your dreams.

Allow me~ to be the guide of your journey
While despaired emotions come dreading
From forgotten yore of discarded memories
And hope that once was, starts hesitating
In aches of today and tomorrow’s warning
Reluctant to traverse the path of destiny,
Allow me~ my dear~ to dream your dreams.

Allow me~ in longings of intimate musings
When you are reveling in alluring fantasies
Buoying passions romantic on magical wings
While stars of night are zealously twinkling
And crystalline skies are gleaming moonlit
Allow me~ to be the Venus of your galaxy,
Allow me~ my dear~ to dream your dreams.

Allow me~ to be the pulse of your heartbeats
Strumming lovingly the sound of their music,
Allow me, my love, to be voice of your lyrics
In feelings of ecstasy crooning tunes euphoric
Lounging by your side in paradise heavenly,
Allow me~ the opulence of just you and me,
Allow me~ my dear~ to dream your dreams.

Jesus Must Roll His Eyes

Jesus must roll His eyes a million times a day
Watching and listening to the things we do and say.
We get angry over the little things we cannot control,
Yet we praise Him zealously when we get a free cinnamon roll.

God has a sense of humor, just look at your goofy friends,
Taking pictures with their picture phones that no will (hopefully) see again.

We take delight in the strangest things,
like toddlers peeing on a tree,
Yet when it comes to death and dying;
how somber we can be.

The very thing we should celebrate, a life with Him above,
We grieve and worry and fret about, forgetting about His love.

So let’s celebrate our gifts from God and
His sense of humor too,
And join Jesus as He rolls His eyes
at the things we say and do.
