Dreaming In Ink

Acquiesced amongst gypsy stardust,
      dance of aroused blissfulness
knees went weak mid a zealously flirtatious
sunset, as skies intensity was enraptured
      mid fierce moonbeam's caressing zeal,
fulfilling a wickedly wild aching surrender
      within ardor's aroused captivation,
enthralling enchantingly obscure sunrise
   sensations of endmost satiated fervency,
  shorelines met heavens verve
     breathless in exhalations' celestial passion,
chanted to the gods 'tween fiery escapism
     risen above darkly inclined constellations,
        'til consummated resplendence of night
            burst forth in explosive exaltation
              dreamt of ink's splendiferous poetry

Wow. I think I am dribbling. You write faster than I can read. Thank you for the kind comments on mine. I was sort of hoping you would read Punctuated inTime. I am so proud of it being ranked.

Think in ink! Was drawn to the title of this one! 'Chanted to the gods' indeed! Outstanding as usual, Paloma.

Yes, a splendid explosion of gorgeous splendiferous poetry this is. It's so cool to write poems ABOUT poetry itself!

What a cool title. :) Once again, a dream is a dream but not an ordinary dream when I come to your page. Sleeping or awake, when you dream in ink, we all dream and what a wonderful dream it is. This was enchantingly beautiful and so nice to see the gypsy pen wielding it's blooms once again.

"dreamt of ink's splendiferous poetry" I love this, Paloma, Imagism yes, but really, all of your poems have that powerful imagery.

What beautiful imagery - as I've come to expect from you, I am required to think, digest each word when I read you and I love that because each line is not found wanting after being processed, but found glowing in imagery matching feelings I have been unable to express. Once digested, I went back, re-read and felt myself dance and twirl thru the lines ... thank you for that, happy turkey day ... CayCay

”Dreaming in ink” covers a world entire: ”breathless in exhalations' celestial passion”. This is a great imagism.
