At night when the stars stare at me,
I tried getting back our old memories.
Talking like a fool while watching the moon,
hoping you're on the other side staring back.

Coldness swallowed my being when I walk down the ground.
Searching for a path where we first laid our...

Worlds Apart
A poem dedicated to Harry James.

We’re worlds apart
Afraid to start
How can I live without you in my heart?

The ecstasy,
The Controversy
How can I spend another day without you?

We will never know what will come of the love that we share
No one...

Worlds Apart
Now we're worlds apart, I've never felt so misplaced
I don't know where to start, the days I find hard to face
Now I'm wondering what to do?, it's like I no longer exist
Trying to find a way through, I just can't help but reminisce

 And I...

Worlds Apart
Worlds Apart…

The words are in my head, but I don’t know what to say
And I don’t know where to start, we’re worlds apart…

So many years of love between us
So many days of joy we’ve shared
So many countless nights of passion
And now we feel the wear...

Worlds Apart
We're in a crazy
Falling fantasy
Dancing on the lazy
Crazy side of me

As we start to spin
Dizzy as can be
Begins a passion
Eyes can't see

Taking some time
To tease and chase
Minds so sublime
While senses race

We chance the sin
That's in our heart
And dance within
A screen apart...

Worlds Apart
In this world one cannot ever have what they need more than anything else,
in that world the other will miss what they want more than anything else,
so they live in loss, now one must leave to have the one thing missing and needed.

What has been...

Worlds Apart
Two different people from two different times
Two different ways, two different lives
Too big a gap to ever be crossed
Too much given will be too much lost...

Worlds apart are we
    a windswept leaf and me
      drifting forever on a current
        heading back to the past...

Worlds Apart
You were the one person I confided in
From you no secrets I kept
Everything I ever hid within
I knew I could talk to you
Day or night it never mattered what time
For every problem you were there to see me thru
And now without you here
I’m lost…I don’t...

Worlds Apart
Silent is the stand, gentle is the gaze
The view of the meadow is grand, in oh so very many ways
The person looks on, all is as it was

Gentle and green grass, dancing every day
Resplendent river of rich mass, safariing without a...

Worlds Apart
You said you have, and I have not anything –
You are monied, and I am down and helpless
So let me alone to my fate to go
Away from you to my lonely abode
To on my lonely bed rest, and romance poverty
And sing her praises that is...

Worlds Apart
I think of this life in this material space,
Money is the currency of this place.
Money is needed to just survive,
To maintain this body and stay alive.

Faith is the currency of heaven above,
Just believe and feel God’s love.
I learn to believe in what I can’t see,
Eternal...

Premium Member Lonely Dunes Worlds Apart
 Tiny baubles of silica baking
mixed hues of brown and tan marble dots
juxtaposition meringue peaks
Desert dunes intersecting
wind-whipped terra-forma
sun-dried expression
of natures rant
desert dunes
smiling
bright.

Bleak
empty
crevasses
empty valleys
caressing the dark
broken hearts beat no more
ringed stories long forgotten
concatenated lifeless dreams
frozen in time they forever stand
empty vessels no longer utilized.

Worlds Apart
There said two worlds can't make a right, but who said it was easy
,who said it would be hard .now you want
to go but am afraid it may be too
late for me to let go, of what
 we had, when i see...

Worlds Apart
Like two hungry wanderers,
We met.
I, from the direction
You were set.

I was cupping a story
And all you had was beauty.
I poured my powdery story
On your breast
And then on your head.

With my tongue, I drummed
On your tympanum
Till you danced the dance
Which carried to the distance
The thump… thump…...
