Best Wile Poems
My name is Wile E. Coyote and I fall off cliffs.
Some consider it misfortune, the Road Runner considers it a gift.
Those damn Acme products never work.
When they backfire, I look like a jerk.
I'm getting sick and tired of always suffering bodily harm.
If I wasn't a cartoon character, I would've bought the farm.
People find my antics amusing but I don't think it's funny.
Why could I only talk when I starred with Bugs Bunny?
If I live to be thirty, I'll never chase the Road Runner again.
My broken bones have convinced me to be a vegetarian.
I’ve
got this
real bad feeling
that Wile E. Coyote
will be remembered for
his Acme gadgets and not his
brilliantly realistic tunnel paintings.
Coyote, Wile E.
Is my cartoon character nominee
For being the most frustrated loser
Using Acme products made him a self-abuser
Roadrunner
Made this Looney Tune much funner
When he caused Wile E to fall off a cliff
hit by a boulder, he was flattened and stiff.

Now, I won’t say I love you no more
-not like I could with a straight face before
I’ve already reached your rotten core
To those spaces no one cares to explore
Benefits far too lost to reap
Lie upon lie you add to your heap
Like a limbless horse, like a worthless creep
Them disasters don’t make a peep
No they show in your every strive
In every worm you deprive
You the baked potato—I’m the chive
The fallen bit—the stricken thrive
I ain’t so peach n’ cream no more,
I’ve a wile and a way to the floor
I’ve kept all your ashes in store
And your whinin’ is making me sore
Yeah in that hellhole, delving deep
I find your wayside fib too steep
Downward I’ll plummet—you’ll weep
As the Lord I pray my soul to keep
Your dirty heart, it’s like a pitfall dive
Down a fire of pity and false drive
Aching to pull those ghouls into your lie
Till they bury themselves alive
I see her working in the garden
the skillful little soul.
Fashioning her home to perfection,
her delicate abode caressed by the breeze.
Jewelled by the rain, destroyed by my finger
should i dare to interfere.
So inviting, so inviting...
Yet a trap for the unsuspecting pilot.
Death defying, Wile E Coyote
Was never a real hero unlike Don Quixote
Wile E couldn’t outsmart Road Runner’s tricks
Not surprisingly he always ended up in a fix!
Road Runner escaped the cleverest traps
Because he had no known handicaps
Outwitted, outsmarted at every turn,
His nemesis would sigh, doing a slow burn.
Wile E. Coyote was determined to destroy
Road Runner by using every available ploy,
But the tricky bird was ever so clever
Always escaping by pulling the lever.

a corpulent sleight of hand
untethered and
within its own will
kindling a masquerade
Your intent is not to harm me
a deliberate act
of wicked dexterity
fashioned to channel
bile from moonbeams
Your intent is not to harm me
a psalm
pretty and full of
veiled decor
scented, malevolent
Your need is to devour
the warmth of summer
boiling a stain upward
into hollow cheeks
masking indifference
An excuse is as good as a reason
lies in regalia
lying cherry blossoms
to roses blood rich
in carnal appetite
Your intent was not to harm me
hunger throws a pearl
from a nylon wire
whistles, ensnares
and devours.
You never had control.

As he is making love to me he has the most loveliest smile.
He is slouched right on top of me, as he gasps all the while,
Giving into my every seductive womanly wile.
I have a question (if you'll allow).
How is it that I came to this place now?
My life's path continued to where
below my feet there is only air;
and, the sad thing is, I cannot fly.
At this point, I guess I'll have to try.
WILE E. COYOTE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With ACME’s ludicrous gadgets galore, in the desert Wile E. Coyote plots
Builds rockets and traps that his nemesis, the Roadrunner, inevitably spots.
*“Beep! Beep!” Road Runner zips past with a dare, and with a tumble and crash
Wile onto the desert does splat; undaunted, he sends ACME more cash.
*Note:“Beep! Beep!” This onomatopoeia is commonly associated with the Road Runner in Looney Tunes cartoons featuring the speedy-yet-flightless bird and his constant pursuer, Wile E. Coyote.
