Premium Member Wheels Effectively

Wheels are my legs effectively
And faster than your legs can be
And I can spin around you see?
And outrun you eternally.

I even race the stairs you know
From all up here to down below
And scoop you up, and there we go
We do it ten times in a row.

I park my chair next to my bed
Now leave it there, don’t make me sad.
You want to race it? Don’t be mad,
I need my chair, right now, nuff said!

You have your legs, I have my wheels.
I know exactly how it feels,
To fall in love head over heels,
With an object that forever steals

Part of my independent ways.
I have sometimes my sombre days
I always know though, it’s a phase.
I am right here, my wheelchair stays!

DANNY BOY # 2

Here you go Danny
it is time to move and play along.
I am amused by your poetry song.
Sorry it had to come to this ..
Lets play with my Barbie's
Before you really get real pisssss!! : )

Danny boy, you got me so far way up your ass.
You remind me of a boy from my first grade class.
How he loved his hot wheels, and picking on me.
Chasing one another was such a blast.
Until that one day I kicked his ass.
That is what he gets for trying to kiss on me.
Now here comes a new Danny boy slamming my way.
Danny I am older now so careful with what you say.
By the power of grace skull.
Was your way of making me laugh.
Danny stop pulling my piggy tails.
Every time your shooting gas.

What is that move you played, when you stung like a bee.
Last time you call yourself a butterfly girly boy.
And by the way your he-man slam had nothing on me.
I am just waiting here for you to destroy.
I will give it to you again one more time easily.
In the next round I am not going to toy with you boy
I am going to hurt you and make you realize you just got trashed.
I am going to make you cry like a little boy.
Step on your hot wheels, until they are completely smashed
Your sugar and jam is a set up for my next decoy.
Danny your hot wheel by now are burning ass
I will keep burning your rubber, to see how long you last.
Here's another head on collision for you to bash.
Buddy all hot wheels come to and end when they crash.
The Poet Destroyer is sending you a warning of a small whiplash

So you return on silver wheels,
and the wheels are faster
than I remember them.

What memories you bring,
what joy,
what heartache, Brenda.

I had forgotten you 'til now,
but silver wheels still squeal
at the far side of my brain.

Premium Member Training Wheels

We crawl before we walk
  Make sounds before we talk
Put training wheels on our first bike
Warm up a bit before a long hike

Mom reads to you before the teacher do
You practive writing your name at home, too
Do you really learn how to count at school --
I counted to a zillion at four; now that was cool

Yet when it comes to lasting love and marriage
It seems that early preparation is disparaged
And how about some classes on diaper-changing
So baby' needs are met sans irritation and raging

Premium Member Those Strange and Stubborn Wheels

It was a shame to make them wait so long.
They had been at it for ages;
The crop-dusting, the vaccuum cleaners,
                          the tense smiles,
Laughter made them fly.
Though it was never enough and sometimes
                          shameful in polite circles.
Crying would often give way to great freedom,
That monk-like freedom, provided by a walk-in bedroom closet.
Unlike anger with its tauting of the muscles
                          choking all thought.

And then we arrived
With the sound of an odd-melodied bird
Arriving to ourselves in new gladness,
Stopping the pushing of those strange and stubborn wheels:
The wheels of desire, the wheels of tomorrow, the wheels of doubt.

Those strange and stubborn wheels
Will let us walk away.

Premium Member Bye two wheels '

In the dim and distant past, i cycled around
Slow and fast, past sleepy houses, on small city blocks.' In the morning fresh when its not yet hot ' sometimes a daring
Cat shot in front, aloof and sleek, no play for me then on bots..I recall the rich sent of
Fresh cut lawn, before the day would swallow, this placid morn' i recall milk bottles sitting on front door stoops, as pidgeons scattering, as the hawk broke loose, out a of a blue yonder, with whistling
Wings, echoing the sound of my bike wheels, as i turn for home i hear the church
Bell ring.'

When the curtains are closed
Enjoy a moment from the basement window
Your mind has many thousands of rooms

In some cases you will need support wheels
An insoluble knot that robs you
the opportunity to let your mind fly

Do not behave as a lobster without claws
It's a process, be patient with yourself
                                       You must walk paths
as you have gone many times before

Hot Wheels

HOT WHEELS!

I went from broke to buying a Lamborghini,
Price tag not so teeny,
Sleek and black, for my Driving Academy,
Or should I buy the red Ferrari,
Command a salesman to 'comprare'?
Wouldn't he be a happy chappy?
But would it make me so happy?
I would be buying loads of stuff,
But when you've old, you've got enough!
To me, consumerism is in vain,
My peaceful simple life in the slow vain.
So, today, I didn't but the Ferrari,
Or indeed, the sleek Lamborghini,
There was no Hot Wheels Driving School,
Consumerism as a manipulative tool.

Can't be for an old Stanley Steamer
With Bernie my car is a screamer
With magnet en route
If you see me please toot
It’s strategically stuck on my bimmer*

*This is the correct spelling for a BMW car or person. Mine is a previously-owned (many times over) 3-series with 259,000 miles that we maintain. Apologies for burning fossil fuel, but at least there is no depreciation to deal with.

Spin the wheel
Bet and win
Happiness and love
Black or white
The Joker
The choice is yours

Spin the wheel
Lose and die
Unhappy and sorrow
Red or yellow
The devil
No choice

Spin the wheel
Sacrifice everything you have
Justice wins
Blue and green
The truth
never lie

Premium Member Hell On Wheels School of Doom

School was another word for hell
A place of torment and fear
That I knew so well.

Every night in my bed felt like
A condemned man to be hung
In a Prison cell
The clock ticking away
The fear mounting
Toward the break of day.

I dread the mornings
Because the nightmare was about to begin
And if I'd lived by a river
I'd have jumped right in
But I couldn't swim.

The churning in my stomach
The fear in my head
I just wanted to stay at home
And hide in my bed.

The school bus or 'Hell in wheels''
Was liken taking a trip to Dracula's castle
And to go to school was such a battle
In a war I couldn't win.

I'd be sick in the toilet
And shaking with fear
As time to catch the fear wagon
Was drawing near.

The bus was full of savages
That made St Trinnian's look very tame
As the school bus shunted
Up the lane.

Eventually we'd arrive at the gates of hell
To the sound of death and doom
From the school bell.

The teachers wore black cloaks
That made them look like bats
Stood their canes to flog us
And their mortar board hats.

The dark ravens gathered
As in to the dark pit of hell we'd go
Into the torture classes
Where the creature called teachers would grab us
And not let go.

But still they say.''School days are the happiest days of our lives''.

Premium Member Wheels Are Round

Wheels are ROUND circles
Circles are ROUND perfection not
Triangles squares rectangles
Corners there

Wheels are round with purpose
Triangles Sharp and edgy
Squares nearly the same
Rectangles who cares

Wheels are round driving
Down SKY is near horizon clear
DAY IS fair

SUMMER ease COUNTING distance
Wheels are round driving down
Driving approaching plush green
There GREEN of Georgia

Plush and purer than urban
Sprawl I know

They'Ll Call Me Hell On Wheels: Hee - Hee - Hee

I've always been a prankster; I just can't resist a joke.
I think I'll shake things up a bit, when in the old folks home.

They'll think they have a fairy when I hide all their false teeth.
No money left, just a note; a cactus they are neath.

Swap preparation H with Bengay; this will be such fun!
Muscles shrank up, butts on fire; Oh! How they will run!

Spike the soup, send invitations; my party please attend.
Bed pans on our heads and stripped down to Depends.

Don't fall asleep with eye glasses left upon your head.
I'll paint flames or angels on them. You'll think you woke up dead.

I'll grab my chest and moan and groan; they'll call a handsome Doc..
When he gives me mouth to mouth... MUAH... A double lip lock!

When they come to check my vitals; Ha! This one's truly grand.
I'll play possum then yell, BOO!! They'll faint right where they stand.

A go-cart motor on my Little Raskle; down the halls I'll speed.
Skid marks round the corners. The fastest nurses won't catch me.

They'll place a warning on my door for all the world to see:
"Enter at your own risk.".... They'll call me, Hell on Wheels... HEE! HEE! HEE!
