Best Wait And See Poems
I am going to be a star,
I am going to out shine you by far.
Around this galaxy, I will swing ,
From a little nobody, to the hottest thing.
I am going to be a star.
First , a little faint and dim,
As I gain power,
I will be shining to the rim.
I will come in like an explosive boom.
You will see me shine very soon,
I am going to be a star.
An explosive volume, yet unheard,
I will out shine all the stars, even those yet unheard.
I am going to be a star.
The hottest thing at night,
Truly , a beautiful sight.
I will be the hottest in the galaxy ,too.
Just wait and see in a million years or two.
skating on thin ice
in my bare feet
i am tightrope walking in
my big chunky boots
i sympathize with fire
numb to the burn
then swallow it whole
to quench the yearn
to satisfy this craving
i pretend i have wings
becoming accustomed to
these busted up knees
don't mind me, i'm just
tracing circles through the air
you think i'm getting nowhere
but you just wait
you wait and see
i'm more
than you
will ever be
A wonder why some people does behave suh
Greedy foh dem mattie own
Always want but never like to give
I can't live with these people no moe
Dem does get on my nerve now
A de thinking dem gone change they ways
But it getting worse by the days
Tell meh why we can't be civilize
Is like dem see a plum tree
And ain't waiting fo de plum get ripe
Always wanting the first bite
When you see dem get money
Dem whole attitude change
But when dem get broke
Oh lawd
Dem like uncivilized ape
I can't tek dem now
But every dog get dem day
A gone hide meh fang
And give dem a taste of they own medicine
You wait and see
My house ain't get place fo bad minded people
Period !
I slit my wrist to erase the pain,
You look at me every day, and obviously think I'm insane,
My eyes turn red, bleeding my tears,
And still I don’t want you to protect me from my worst fears
Look at my scars then you will see,
Why I can't seem to go around and faking happy,
Yet you tell me you love me, that you'll forget,
For I'll soon be gone, and it would be my worst regret
So let me die, broken and scarred,
I can't deal with life; it's getting far too hard,
Everything’s gone wrong; it's not worth trying,
So leave me alone because I feel like I'm dying
Please, I want nobody to worry
Because I was gone in a hurry
Please wait and see, Just think how happy I soon will be
Do you know what plan God has for you?
Can you wait and see? Have you not known?
Have you not heard, that the Everlasting God,
The LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth,
Does not faint, nor is He weary?
His understanding is impossible to comprehend or to interpret.
It is impossible to be seen through the physical eyes.
It is mysterious to the ain’t, He gives power to the faint,
And to those who have no might, He increases their strength.
Even the youth shall faint and be weary,
And the young and old shall utterly fall.
But those who wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up with wings as eagles,
They shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.
Wait and see what the LORD has planned for you.
I will stand at my watch, and station myself on the tower, and I will keep watch to see what He will say to me,
And what I will answer when I am reproved.
And the LORD will answer me:
Write the vision, and make it plain on the wall,
That he who reads it may run.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But it speaks of the plan He has for you, and it does not lie.
If it delays, wait for it; it will surely come,
It will not delay.
As Abraham believed, he received.
He was called a father of many nations,
God called those things that be not as though they were.
Wait and see what God has planned for you,
And it will surely come to pass.
Unable to gripe, the actual suggestion,
that change brings; as time, starts way ahead.
While one is lying down underneath the comforters,
thinking the cycle, will continue, by habit instead.
Always assuming the same occurrence,
the pattern will always, happen again.
Because of a similar incident repeating itself,
during an obvious time, back then.
For nothing , in life, in fact, is crystal clear,
And nothing , is ever, truly promised, to then be.
All one can then really do, through, out one’s life,
is become patient; realizing life, is a wait and see.

The city sleeps in a cloudless fog below
Leaving for the first time and perhaps the last
Penniless and hopeless, the city seems to know
These days of living desperately; the glory in the past
The mountains follow them as they choke on emptiness
Ironic transparency and the ugliness of sightless greed
Bittersweet to leave and see a past without a tryst
No love was ever shared down there; a place where angels bleed
The murky future lays somewhere below the yellow smog
Asking if I'm meant to be polluted on my own
I played the game, I danced along like everyone without a song
Three days until my destiny will tell me where I'll call my home
My heart is filled with smog, just like the city beneath my feet
One day I hope they say "hey Laura Dee, wherever you are is sweet to me"
And you will clean the ocean air and free the clouds from mountain tops
I've said it before and recently so frequently;
"I'm out of words, let's wait and see"
You will believe
Love
Lord

then they discovered me

when one door closes another opens
offering its array of solutions and remedies
untold possibilities you had not foreseen
we choose what we want to see
dreams astray not long lost or forsaken
when one door closes another opens
to a universe brimming with mysteries
opportunities where obstacles had been
we choose what we want to see
appears the silver lining not to be mistaken
when one door closes another opens
and beyond our cosmic world of memories
brushing away the dark clouds of chagrin
we choose what we want to see
with time to a brighter side we will awaken

They stayed within the city walls
In one accord,& each for all,
Pending the Holy Spirit's call-
Wind and fire fell from above
Filling them ,with gifts,& love.
i will have to wait and see, what the lord has planned for me, im really a good guy, but their charging me a fee, i dont ever want to die, to live forever is my plea, i was living on an island, now im drowning in the sea. i want to stand and fight, but instead i turn and flee, the world will be itself, while i sit under a tree, i have a gift that i can give, come and sit up on my knee, am i doing something wrong? i know the answer is the key. my life gets me confused, and im last in line like e, you can have your beer, but i know i will drink some tea, i do not want to get locked up, so for now i will be free, please just let me live my life, i know who i want to be.
Lets start over
Lets move on
It can be anywhere
As long as we're gone
We can go over seas
With our toes in the sand
We can go to the next state
Just take my hand
Take a plane or a boat
Take a car or a bus
Our family might disagree
We can be happy just being us
I'll take care of you
You'll take care of me
Lets star over; lets move on
We will be happy, wait and see
In spring rains, I’d find my shoes a ‘leaking.
I'd feel that leak until pay-check weekend
because “Wait and see, son,” is what I’d hear.
It seems money is tight right now ‘round here.
I'd want to go see kinfolk, but mom'd say,
“Wait and see, son, we are broke now, but Hey,
Hasn't our God has always seen us by?
Some wants not met; yet most needs we can buy.
In Vermont, winter winds are icy cold,
blankets cover windows like a stronghold.
The sun's heat is gone when fall greets summer,
It is a sign, we whine, what a bummer!
Mom's special time all through the year is pray'r;
God's faithful, we are safe within His care.
Her motto's always been, "Wait and see, Son"
