Best Unattainable Poems

Unattainable

Satisfying founts of passions, a celebration remains unattainable
Like admiring the unreachable, possession remains unattainable.

Carved pains from which to heal, an abiding endeavour
As pleasure of the mind its satisfaction remains unattainable.

Passion and reason within a soul, harmony far to reach
Ever refining a beautiful soul, perfection remains unattainable.

Poetry, language of uncontrollable words, a wonder to uncover
Soaring imagination, the destination remains unattainable.

Beauty, a value of the mind, rainbows of perception
Like truth core, the heart distinction remains unattainable.

Love, that’s Life in motion, the soul rebirth and growth
Occupying all Love chambers, a dimension remains unattainable.

Nature speaks to silent hearts and feeds restful souls
Walking on Nature’s path, the last station remains unattainable.

In the temple of Light, one Besma raises passionate a sight
Abiding in blessedness, her plea of emotion remains attainable.

Beloved,
with preposterous
persistence,
I still search
for your likeness.
Gravitating
toward every
handsome bald man,
I scan the light
that reflects
off their head,
like the globe of home.
I strive for
the sight of bushy,
frost seasoned eyebrows
and hazel eyes
defined with
laugh lines, and I
shape-shift them
to resemble yours.
I hunt for
hearty hands,
calloused and
unabashedly
bleeding from
the weed wacker's
counterattacks.
I hearken to a
Manhattan accent,
while recalling
the name of
your favorite
fruit, "our-ange."
My ears perk
at the pep of
baseball announcers,
the background
soundtrack of
your steady presence.
The scent of rum
comforts me like
your broad-chested hug.
Beloved,
another's
stubbly cheeks
lead me back to grief.

Unattainable
in this stand-in space,
is your love,
beloved.
That amiable
smile that delighted
an entire room
no longer blooms with
its fragrant welcome.
Nocturnal
is my fervent search,
without night vision.
Knuckles outstretch,
but palms clutch nothing.
Beloved, your love
is within
roaming shadows,
splattered upon
the pavement
of nightfall.
Glances of
expansive
remembrance thin,
vanishing
into fumbling
fabrications
and uncertainties.
Yet certainly you
are loved forever,
currently
unattainable
to behold.

Unattainable Dream

I thought it was love,
  But it wasn’t.
I thought it was joy,
  But it was sadness.
I thought it was pleasure,
  But it was pain.
I thought it was ecstasy,
  But it was a dream.

Unattainable Freedom

Are there medical treatments to cure this disease? Will clinical trials shine a light on
this sickness? Will exploratory surgery find the source of where it all began? Will
radical and controversial experiments result in new ways to manage this progressing virus?
Will it just be assessed by a well accredited doctor just so he can write a script and
say, “Thou shalt be healed!”? Therapy of all sorts worked only for some time. Various
coping mechanisms helped but they progressed and only made the darkness more dark. It’s
coursed through veins for years until now it’s coagulating, choking the very life. Who or
what held that needle to the naive vein? It wasn’t a fast injection….no it was slow and
torturous…feeding a little bit at a time, poisoning body, mind and heart. Some of the most
trivial, mundane things feed it…give it the consuming power. Like an ink drop from the
well on paper…it spreads and grows. With each added drop, the spot grows bigger, darker,
wet, and more vulnerable. Where is the cure? Is it in a pill, a treatment, a study,
therapy, in the opinion of a doctor in the top of his field? Have you ever been so
desperate for a cure to something that seems impossibly incurable? So desperate that you
would give anything to be free…or does it even exist?

Truly Unattainable

I have always known that I was only capable of loving a woman,
More beautiful, more wealthy, more genius, and gifted than I.
The unattainable…...

Now I see that the woman I have loved have had all of these,
plus one.

They are incapable of loving another, too wounded to love.

Truly unattainable…

I thought they would love me, if I taught them to love.
The complexity in teaching love is best left to God.

Self Destructible Because Youre Unattainable

I have filled my mind with things unreal
and my heart with affections unsafe.
I can’t help but smile when I see your face.
You’re killing me with each and every embrace.

Beloved,
again, I bargain
with my unbridled mind,
seeking to find
a smile
wider than time,
and wild eyes
like mossy tree stumps,
gliding against light,
in exchange
for all of
my recollection's
regrets combined.

A stranger's
divergent eyes
always disappoint,
pointing away from
the maze of memories
that light up
a late father's reflection.

Bashfully inadequate,
I project pity upon
those understudied features,
each seemingly
inferior to familiarity.

An uncomfortable stare
doesn't prepare one
for the despair of
a persistent
preoccupation
with
what is not there.

Unattainable Vengeances

Look at this beast you unleashed
I hope she scares you and makes you put your head in-between you knees

Turn the dark corner, right into the trap…
I’m going to twine you into a suffocating wrap

Your lungs will burn every breath you take
Twine twisting tighter every time you shake..

You took my purity and innocents
Turned it into unattainable vengeances

Oh but don’t worry your, pain
Is much to be gained

This is anger beyond any point of a frame
I dare you to touch its flame…

It will scorch you beyond black
Till its time you wish to turn back

Sonnet 76: O, Mortal Goddess of the Heavens Seized

O, Mortal Goddess of the Heavens Seized,
Whose Name, pleasant, doth make my heart to quake
There’s naught I would not bravely do to please
Thee well, all wisdom, surety, I would forsake,
If only you would draw nigh unto me...
There is no better thing than that bright hope
That I, once more, may see your holy face!
There is no sand, wov’n into better rope
Than that from which I weave my perfect grace:
That I may hold thee soon against my heart,
That I, thy tears may with my kerchief dry,
That you will come to me by Heaven’s Art,
And we will bide awhile, you and I.
But if this cannot be, then I must climb
The mountains’ rocky faces, turn back time.

Unattainable

She comes into view
And my heart launches a tantrum
That bombards my ears.

My knees buckle,
My strength crumbles
To nothing but dust
At the smile most gracious
And the sweet, sweet voice
Like a mermaid's song.

If she so much as touches
I might die,
At the very least, go mad.

I lunge yet cannot reach,
I reach yet cannot touch,
I crave yet cannot have.

Spare me the thirst,
Yet burned is this moment
Forever in my mind.

The purpose most unattainable
Is defined.

Unattainable Love

Young caring lover of another man,
Serenely take my vacant, sheltered hand,
And with the simple touch you give to him,
I beg you, let me feel your soul within

O Perfect mirror for his fragile heart,
Of which your deepest feelings form a part;
Please, let me glimpse my brittle own in you,
And give to me your flowing life anew

Lone peaceful refuge for his weary mind,
Refuse me not, and let me be entwined
Wherein your comfort calmly soothes away
The aching stresses of another day

Unyielding strength in taxing trials long,
For my ears also, sing your lifting song,
And light my darkened way in troubled times
With memories and promises sublime.

Unattainable

She said to me to not even try
As I approached her with desire
The first thing noticed was her eyes
Leaving my heart burning with fire
I had to meet her, had to dare
She was elegant and ever so pretty
She probably noticed I was set in stare
So I then began to act witty
I couldn’t do anything to change her mind
With me, she would have nothing to do
Yet, she was the prettiest that I did find
But had contempt and a frozen heart, too
So, I walked away and muttered these words
To be interested in her is simply absurd

Unattainable Forgotten Heart

When you felt yourself get close
You slammed your door shut
You didn't wanna take that chance - 'cause you thought you'd get cut
What I had done up until that point seemed never to be enough
You said I seemed like I was always in my head
Even though you're an introvert, you said
Years of talking, interacting, & confiding in you
But you say I had no reason to always continue to stay true
You said I didn't have a good enough reason to wanna stay
But before I met you, I had reasons to masquerade
I'll always have my downer days - like you've had, too
But even before I met you, I still continued to talk to you
You used to tell me we got along better when it was in a chat box
But if that's true, how did my heart almost unlock for you?
In all of my life I've never, ever been in love with a soul
'Cause everyone I've tried to let in, has brutally taken a toll
Not to mention that anybody could acquire my heart's key
Just no one can open that lock 'cause nobody knows where it's at but me
Until you - I still haven't let anybody else see
I'm like a labyrinth, a hazy maze
You can walk forever & ever & still not go anywhere near it
The souls with strategy, the will, the want, & the curiosity
Are the souls I'll consider finding me & the one I'll fall in love with freely
But so far that hasn't quite happened yet
But you've been the closest to my heart that anyone has attempted to get
And for that attempt you hold first place to the heart everyone else has forgotten...
