Premium Member My 3 Halloween Stages - Sijo In Triplet

Stage 1

Trick-or- treating long after dark, we knocked on an old lady’s door.
Her annoyed look clearly did not match our Halloween glee.
But that did not dissuade us from dashing to the next lighted porch.

Stage 2

I took my two small kids out in cute costumes Halloween night.
Once Trick- or- Treating was finished and my children were tucked in bed,
I busied myself sifting through their bags for the Snickers bars!

Stage 3:

Sometimes before 5, the Trick- or- Treaters appear at our door,
announced constantly by our barking dog. Although they may look cute,
after 9, I become the old bothered lady from my childhood.

Premium Member An Emotion In Motion - a Triplet

She stands vulnerable, confident and excited
Delicate hands, arms deliberately sided
A soft etching to art and beauty enlivened and lusted.

My love for her is quite stormy
Like dark drifting clouds of agony
As her windswept hair lashes my effrontery.

The water falls from the eyes crazy
And blinds me to her beauty
Dragged down by a heart heavy.

The heart in a sad sea of terrible tears
It makes my conscience shivers
And finally disappears

Premium Member Look Into My Eyes - Triplet Poetry

(Triplet poetry~

When I see your smile my troubles go ‘way
Take my hand since you already have my heart
And for a long time I gave you my love too.

No other love like yours I've ever really known
Come with me and never let's us be apart
Your love's fire fed my heart and made it grown.

Through life we'll journey this road together
And all my love I'll give to you alone
Just to keep and to cherish you forever.

And my heart and love I trust you to keep
Always closely to your own heart and soul
Look into my eyes see my love for you so deep.

Snuggle Together -Triplet-

In this nasty weather
birds of a feather
all snuggle together.

I had come up with this poem late last night and wanted to get it penned today, so I wouldn't forget about it.

Monkey Triplet

Some sacrificial fonts are filled
with sanctified water
others overflow with blood and bile
all but for the rose petals camouflage
dare we know the difference

A holy child who in devoice distilled
lest in innocence mayhap confront such sanctimonious alter
collectively strangled by guile
for say not to us such criminal reportage
but prefer to consecrate our ignorance

In dissonance are we worse revealed
and laid sightless to truths encounter
be us then the factious rank and file
conversant only to a fools salted mirage
a dummies page of prophetic words rallying our compliance

Dad, Haiku Triplet

Sea foam wash my feet:
Let me sink into the earth
My heels then my toes

Gentle breeze kiss me
So I may feel your majesty,
Whisper in my ear

He rests on a stone
Awaiting to join the sea-
I love you Dad

New Day

Every breath of life, each new day
From sunrise-to-sunset, ascends with a light ray
As sunset settles below the horizon astray

Then evening comes, sparkles dance in the moonlight
Hush hours make us whole, afresh with delight
In the darkness, alive once more tonight

The moon fade away
Blurring into dim, another sparkle display
For a fresh out of the box new day

In each new day, trust, rises with shine faithfully
Sparkles all that is, smiling gracefully
And nature rises, spreading opulently 'n majestically

Day and night - radiant shines with all that power
Inside its own hiding shadows, in this glorious hour
That fills the soul with heavenly power

Premium Member Tubby Triplet Troubles

Retaliatory Repercussions
                         by Sean Kelly

A young fertile mother begat
Triplets, called Tim, Tom and Tat
Great fun at breeding
Confusion at feeding
When she found there was no tit-for-tat
( Chosen because it made me laugh..Sean always does...)

Tubby Triplet Trouble

The triplets became very fat
Except for the one called Tat
He became very slim
"Cause he went to the gym
Tim and Tom thought him a brat

The fat ones started to cry
Thought about giving up pie
When Tat found a girl
And gave her a whirl
Their cravings started to die

Goodbye Nana -Haiku Triplet-

Sea foam wash my feet:
Let me sink into the earth
My heels then my toes

Gentle breeze kiss me
So I may feel your majesty,
Whisper in my ear

Hands held on the shore
She holds me as the sea comes-
I love you Nana

Premium Member Quiet Thought

one I knew many years ago
all was fun we didn't know
life was short many years ago

Nature's Realm

Earthy barmy leafs scurry
Pulling rapidly in peak flurry
Lamenting blind as mists worry

Crude cool calm earth attacks slowly
Silly calm breeze shoo wholly
Sharp plume vanishes hollowly

Descending riveted cloud gleam
Sputtering upon scratching stream
Hurries vacantly in sprinkling steam

Lying oaks bewail 'n bemoan
Unobtrusively giggling delicately unknown
On clear red foundlings windblown

Deciduous elm trees fluster
As slow clouds be one of cluster
Above and slowly disappears in a duster

Suavity forlorn pebbles grieve
Amongst sluggish ol' buttermilk sky heave
As stars twinkling thru' pea soup vapor retrieve

Love's Last Call - Triplet

Whenever he reeks of alcohol
I know he’s been on an angry crawl
To flush away heartache’s waterfall

Horn Hiaku Triplet of Downton Abbey

Horn Hiaku Triplet of Downton Abbey

Between you and me
Her knockers could hardly see
What a way to be.

She seemed to extreme
With no features that redeem
Part of a bad dream.

Bra was twenty-two
And more pounds lost quite a few
Which was end of you.

She set rapid pace
Did disappear into space
We could not replace

Were delirious
After many more queries
Had stopped whole series.

Wife sure was crabby
Now no more Downton Abbey
Stopped being happy.

I was even starting to like it.
