Premium Member Hi I Say Brightly

It is a gorgeous spring day, there are greens on both sides of the road.
The smells are fantastic, and my hair is blowing like I’m on a cycle.
I’m actually driving my new purple trans am, windows down, music blaring.
The white racing stripes might have been a bit much, but
Not for me. The sun is beaming on us with magic happy.

BRRRR BRRRR GRRRR
Should I try to outrun him?
He’s gaining on me fast. I glance at speedometer. Swear.
82 m.p.h. This is what happens when I listen to the Oldies.

I pull off, waiting, heart beating fast.
Lanky patrolman pulls himself out of car, gets younger as he gets closer.
“Hi,” I say, brightly.
He says, “License and registration, Ma’am.”

He is carrying his ticket pad, and a pen.
My hands are shaking as I start stammering nonsense.
He studies my license a second, says, “Just a minute, Ma’am,”
Walks back to his car, slides in, sits down, spends an hour or two in there.
I get worried I might have accidentally handed him my big-limit Visa card.

My heart is thudding, as I watch him laboriously walk back to my Trans Am
Who is not feeling so fine and foxy now. “It’s your fault!” I tell her. “You did this!”
“You were going 81,” he tells me. Eighty-two, I wisely don’t say.
“I am giving you an opportunity to slow down, and today, I’m giving you a warning,” he says.
No smile. No expression. He could give a mannequin a lesson in subtle.

I cannot help it. “Why?”
A glimmer of an ant’s smile starts in the left corner of his mouth, for a second, but he quickly snaps it off.
“Here’s the deal, Ma’am,” he tells me. “I stopped this car yesterday, on this same curve. I wouldn’t feel right about giving you a ticket on the same corner, at the same speed after letting your 17-year-old daughter off with a warning.”
In my head I picture my adorable blonde daughter who was wearing white hot-pants yesterday.
As a last hurrah he says, “I’m going to be out here for another two hours, Ma’am.”
We both smile.
This is the best warning I’ve ever had!

S L I C E D

Let us be true to one another
I want it to be as if I was myself and you were my mirror
Reflect, emotions, if only I knew
Walk through dimensions clear as diamond
Cut studded rings with flowery
Things
        S l i c e d
Into ribbons that adorn long brown hair and lacy
                           Underwear
Sexy scandalous sweaty slicked sweet
Nothing
He’s asleep, and I don’t mind
Because I always told him I don’t play that way
Passion is designed for married people he said
Passion has nothing to do with sexual inclinations, elimination
Of what I fear most, complete submission

		He’s asleep, and I don’t mind
Just the way I like it

He’s always turning corners
That leads to other bends in roads that don’t end
May I, run my hot pink manicured nails down his back
And fantasize about making him
Breathe so deeply, inhale my perfume
Relax and drive the way he wants to?
Passenger seat with the music low and hard, bass bumping
Thudding against my thighs
He’s not perfect, but the way his chest moves
Is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen
We are so young but it’s been ceaselessly ours
He comes to visit me through my window
As strange as it is familiar I can’t forget
These kind of eyes

Premium Member Who Will

WHO WILL?

With frozen tears, she stands alone,
Not knowing what to do,
With nobody to call her own,
Who will her heart subdue?

Listen to her heart thudding loud,
She faces the unknown,
When darkness does her face enshroud,
Who will hearken her groan?

With weeping, she worries and frets,
Emotions rule her mind,
Sometimes, her purpose she forgets,
Who will help her unwind?

Premium Member Apple of My Eye

Cozy night bubbles a crimson delight
Moon and stars tango on angelic heights
Beside, pillowed the apple of my eye
His breathing languidly rhythmic with mine

His thudding heartbeat a stellar of light
Arch strong features - repleting me with might
The silence - a roaring serenity
Next to him my euphoric ecstasy

I adoringly stare on his presence
  Memorizing fully his very essence
Touch of cotton - soft, I run my fingers
To each square inch, I caress to linger
Wrapped tight in his musky heavenly scent

Praying forever not only for rent
But soon... I must leave you not to sin more
Saving you from patches of harlequin
I thank heavens for this amazing date
Hating me is better than sinful fate

Four O' Clock, High.

Meant to be read over this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=dYQ_lse44gQ&feature=related

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i.
        [clockwork rage]

goddamn
dried up
everything
even my saliva
is wooden

you don't
know it

how homeless
and strong
I am
unbreakable
and so dry
everything

ii.
          [no air]

can't sing
no more
can't form
the words
but I pray
smoke

heavy smoke
thudding against
your window
like a goddamn
pigeon

wrung
dry

all our necks
bared
and strewn about
like dirty socks

this body is
a long
white
stranger

death
can't feel much
different
halfway between

stood up
and fallen

iii.
[a whole heart, a whole heart]

but watch this
watch me leer
at the pretty girls
watch me stick
to the sidewalks
unwashed

unrecognizable
I'm dancing with
fingers
and with smoke

laid out
like so
a dead fish
reeling under
the stars
I'm strong

so strong now
I tell you
when you walk by
with another face
another face
another face

but you never
listen
anymore.

Raining Cats and Dogs

As cats and dogs fall from the sky
it isn't easy to keep dry.
Caught in the thumping, thudding pain
of the meowing, barking rain.

The pitter patter of their feet
at other times would be a treat,
but when they poke you in the eye,
it's times like these they make you cry.

The tears now streaming down your face,
the pitter patter speeds it's pace,
with pets now pouring from the sky
it's time to get inside... and dry!

Pollution Solution

Motorbikes and barking dogs
are driving me to drink
With the endless din of traffic
I can no longer think

I’ll have a little nip of Gin
Perhaps a beer or two
or maybe close the window
That might help me too

Perhaps I’ll take my rifle
With the telescopic sight
And find a building with a view
Where I can sit at night

Those random noisy neighbours
Would swiftly think again
If metal jacket bits of lead
were winging toward their brains

Another little whiskey then
To keep the cold at bay
And steady trigger finger
As the targets weave and sway

I did this once before you know
And they kept me for a year
Psychotic Paranoia
Induced by too much beer

I didn’t have the rifle then
just a catapult I'd bought
T’was after several nips of rum
Because I thought I aught

It’s gotten so much quieter here
I nailed it bang to rights
and down below looks pretty
With those small blue flashing lights

I think they’re waving up here
I can see them scurry round
Behind their little armoured cars
They’re kneeling on the ground

I hear the whiz of bullets
But my vodka dulls the sound
Perhaps I’ll have a pop or two
At those insects five floors down

I’m feeling kinda sleepy now
I’m tired upon my feet
And those noisy thudding chopper blades
could ruin a good nights sleep

A small nightcap, a brandy tot
Should calm my trembling hand
And then I think I’ll take a shot
At that choppers rubber band

I expect I’ll get a little sleep
In Broadmoor’s padded rooms
And get out in a year or so
As recessions lay offs loom

So one more shot and then to sleep
I’ll go out like a light
So just before I take it
I’ll wish you all goodnight.

Peace and Happiness At Last

The tumultuous whirlwinds had now ceased
The roaring, nettlesome sounds have dried away
The tide is now silent
The clatters and jangles,
now dead, they are.
Far and wide, the drumming sounds, ululations...
For the happiness, peace and calamity, found again
All is being born again.

The sky is blue
The dark-dark, huge, cumbersome and petrifying clouds
Have faded away
And now, white clouds are to be seen hither and thither
In the blue sky-scape, congregating
For the new rain of the new
the new downpour of joy and peace of nature.

With my hands,
I rubbed away the hot tears, at last
With a smile, i looked out
The thudding of my heart, had stopped, but gone
Relieved i felt, for the tempests, had flied away
I yawned, stretching my arms
Bad times, had reached their edges
At last.

The birds fluttered and warbled
Their sounds anew
Tickling my fancy
The swiping of the trees
buzzed with the cool breeze
and then, the sun showed up
with new lively alight, and
with the moon
they all smiled cutely.

All got in full swing
For the peace, and happiness had at last been restored
I danced along with the birds, soft wind and the trees
Dancing, to their tune
And with all the peace and happiness
Smiled back to the jolly sun and the moon.

Hit By Love

Love gushed out like a tornado
swishing and whirling
wrecking heart, mind, soul,
a complete CHAOS!

It is a new dawn
rising from the ruins
in bits and parts
aiming stability...

The thudding heart,
and rising pulse
the building pressure
and flow of desire...

Bemused, in this heaven I dwell
controlled by feelings that swell
unaware of the path ahead
Lost in this vortex of emotion.

Love Justice

Love, a curse or a boon
a query that has grown
there exist a lucky few
who hath tasted this feeling true

Young love likens a rosebud
pure and delicate, unshed
canst not get enough of the other
forever dying to be together
hearts thudding furious
pulse racing and curious
earnest to explore in negligence
the new world bathed in brilliance
like a bud eager to bloom
and bee to devour

(Love is justified)

Time flies in dalliance
love blooming with experience
with it comes trust
and assurance a must
here and then they falter
unable to alter
bud devoid of the dew
fragrance fading in lieu

(Is love justified?)

The rose now in full bloom
as love on its way to doom
arduous is the test of love
withering away if not conveyed
chiding and belittling the other
love start its decline and wither

It has happened time and again
repeating itself in vain
alas! In the minds of those
the answer still remain!!!

Crush

Crush
Is a stranger
With warm eyes
Sweet smile and
A dimple on his left cheek

Crush
Is her heart
Falling fast and hard
To this stranger
Unknown, oblivion
To him

Crush
Is her heart beating
Thudding
Screaming
Yelling
Longing for him

And crush
Is her heart breaking
Sound of it crashing
Tears falling
Knowing
For he’ll never be hers
Just a stranger from a far.

I Understand

I’ve listened, I’ve heard
I’ve wondered, I’ve cried
I’ve been hurt a countless of times,
But I understand

Every blunt word you directed to me to express hate,
At first it used to shutter me into mirror pieces,
Reflecting the agony and anguish I felt
But today I realized, I understand

You drew me close to you,
For every moment I had with you turning to a dream come true
The caressing, the warm kisses, the long hugs to be long over due
Nothing making sense to me except the sound of love in my heart thudding in tune,

More of you for me,
A drug for a definition would be limiting to define,
More of a God that my life depends on everyday
Love being my religion of praise,
“Baby please don’t leave me”
I knelt every day to recite such a phrase
But I understand

Imagining a life without you was a nightmare
Living a life with you was hell,
Both scenarios were not recommended as they brought pain and despair
Tick tock, tick tock, the tireless clock escalating in pace
Living me with less time to spare,
Thomp…Thomp, my tears falling yet again
“Baby please don’t leave me”
To conclude yet another day of shame

Today I’m bold, the true definition of a middle finger
Directed to my past and all the pain I used to linger
They say all good things come to an end,
Yeah, I’m not gonna play that game of calling you names of regret
I’m glad I met you, I’m proud I fell in love with you
For whatever reason you degraded me for, I understand
For whatever reason you avoided my phone calls, I understand
For all the attention I tried to give yet you turned down, I understand
For all the messages you never replied, I understand too
A good lesson is never learnt through excellence, but a good lesson is learnt through disappointments and countless of tries
For what you taught me is a lesson to die for,
To accept and to understand the things I cannot change
Today I’m proud to say,
 I understand……

An Alienation of Revelations

An alienation of Revelations

The rudimentary elements, all collapsed broke free
The whole ordeal made no sense at all
Eclipses and darkened wars of solitude made the eve
It was difficult to comprehend and to accept.
The deluge of torrid ramblings filled my deranged and already on edge mind
I got flung into the arms of the prevalent, push and pull, struggle

I plummeted, head first into a deathly vortex of inhibition and
Lack of strength
The fears that once pursued me, appeared right in front of my eyes
Their ice cold stares, annihilated all resistance left in me
I let go. I had had enough of the charade
My brave soul searched for some light but there was none to be found
All the avenues were blocked off, no access or solace present.

I was an empty vessel of strength, all of me was worthless. Nothing to move this heavy load I was carrying around with me,
Gripping the saddles and reins of this dark horse I was riding on,
All the thudding and clopping could not compete with the cacophonous beating heart.
Nothing could silence the devils taunts, nor the resonating screech of my torn soul
In search of some help and comfort, I crutched across the landscape, looking for some shade

But the shades were to dark a reality to part with, memories ran too deep; the memories ran to deep
Alienation of a different order, I got locked out of my already fragile mind.
As the clock struck one, I found myself at the bridge of defeat.
My precious heart a victim to the arson, the smoldering remnants of a dying past

A single breathe escapes my lips and like some weird musical
My croaking soulless heart gave one last shriek then died
Like chaff in the, ever changing, wind my conscience drifted away.

As the smoke cleared and everything came into focus
I find my hand gripping a still burning matchstick
As the sun started to rise, the fire extinguished
A simple question awakens within the depth of my senses
What have I done?

Whale Beach Morning (After)

Sun,
Awakening,
Remembering, sex, sounds, Miles in the Sky,
Jaegermeister, O, bad, when, warm, why?

‘Tis apres ski! o me, o my, not for these hot antipodae.
No more, forever. Now, just, the
Surf
And I.

Thundering,
Thud-thudding,
Slow,
On the beach.

Serendip morning, perfect,
Palm-fronded, dawning, blue and silver, beige sand,
Sizzling, the sound, aroma!
Bacon and banana, coffee, toast,

Scrambled egg, red-hot chili, O ginger, garlic,
Tomatoes! Heal me!
Sometime, later, sorbet, maybe,
What? Champagne? Oh no, please, save me.

Then, leaning, her
Swimsuit, slipping,
Succulent, breast, almost, tipping, rudely, slow,
No. She flips it, back in, coolly…oh?

Beach. Hangover,
Burping, yawning, randy.
Sun, dazzling, the shades, cool, handy,
Oh yes, smile…the…(sleep?)

Razzling has made me lazy,
My poisoned brain, short-circuiting, crazy, I
Sip, hair of dog, ill-considered,
Breakfast, Bloody, Mary.

Surf, thuds, on. And my head,
Points, to the sea,
Swimming, turning, catching it,
Wanting cleaning, cleansing, clearing, body

Surfing? No, slowing, sucked back, rolling,
Sinuses swizzled, I,
Tumbled and twirled, am,
Dumped. By the first, little, shore-break, of the morning.

Then, slowly, recreated,
Finned, crawling and gasping like
The first air-breather, but
Back, on that vibrating beach,

I smile.

Thunder Paws

When he's bouncing down the hall,
Thunder Paws is what you call.
Thumping, thudding, in your ear,
That's the sound, you will hear.

Tipping, tapping, as he walks,
Yepping, yapping, when he talks.
Bouncing, jumping everywhere,
Bumping falling here and there.

As that puppy starts to grow,
He bats those feet, to and fro.
Watch out for his dewy claws.
Don't get mauled by Thunder Paws

He's so sweet and silly too,
He plays hard and acts a fool.
He's a marvel, he's a clown,
He's the biggest pup in town.
