Sweetest Love Note

One night a guy & a girl were
driving home from the movies. The
boy sensed there was
something wrong because of the painful
silence they shared between them
that night. The girl then asked the boy to pull over
because she wanted to talk. She told him that her
feelings had changed & that it was time to move on.
A silent tear slid down his cheek as he
slowly reached into his pocket & passed her a folded note.
At that moment, a drunk driver was speeding down
that very same street. He swerved
right into the drivers seat, killing the boy.
Miraculously, the girl survived. Remembering the note, she
pulled it out & read it.
"Without your love, I would die."

Premium Member Sadness Is the Sweetest Emotion

"Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought." - Percy Shelley

Do not tell me to smile
while tears run down my cheek,
just because I am melancholy
does not mean I am weak.

I cannot fake happiness
these are real tears I cry,
if they are invisible to you
I really wonder why.

They say look on the bright side
and this only makes me mad,
my emotions are not hidden
I am unafraid to be sad.

You cannot understand it
wished, prayed for it to go,
these sorrows you tried to end
yet, this is all I know.

Tears flow through my veins
not the red blood of life,
this heart sobs, it does not beat
outpouring all my cares and strife.

I am happy in sadness
not in a fake smile,
so, let my tears fall
I want to be sad for awhile.

If you hate sad poetry
than I am not for you,
I will write a "happy" poem
when I am ready to.

Premium Member The Sweetest Song

(This is about an Irish/Celtic legend:
Oenghus & Caer)

A hundred-fifty swans in dancing light
of sun were shimmering upon the lake
when Oenghus, God of Love, beheld the sight
and called to her who made his poor heart ache,

“You haunt my dreams. I die for love of you!”
With her reply, the cloak that he had on
changed into soft white wings, for love was true.
And thus it was he joined her as a swan.

How great their joy when Oenghus met his mate,
the fair Caer, there in the gleaming throng.
Imagine knowing bliss to be your fate!
In unison, they sang a wondrous song.

It sweetly lulled all listening to sleep,
a melody their hearts would ever keep.

I, Who Once Rose To Greet Dawn's Sweetest Voice

I, who once rose to greet dawn's sweetest voice
and with joys of life, made loving my choice
while in searching for romance and its gems
fiery rites of passion opened rose stems.

Moonlit skies, quenched heavy gasping aches
Always searching, playing for higher stakes!

I, who saw not blindness within my soul
felt only glory, instead of hurt's toll
A prisoner bound by unbreakable chains
I was a ghost, denying lonely pains.

Moonlit skies, quenched heavy gasping aches
Always searching, playing for higher stakes!

I, who walked along crooked paths with glee
did not admit harm done, to them or me.
Yes, a young rascal, seeking ever more
thus merciless, the bloody holes I tore.

Moonlit skies, quenching heavy gasping aches
Always searching, playing for higher stakes!

I, who thought life was meant for pleasure found
shut out truth's light and loud crying sounds.
Lost soul, racing into that coming wrath
playing wicked odds, and failing at math.

Moonlit skies, quenching heavy gasping aches
Always searching, playing for higher stakes!

I, who finally paid my costly dues
was imprisoned in dark, hard hitting blues.
Victim of my own making, blinded sight
cast into ebon fields of blackest blight.

No longer skies, of heavy gasping aches
No more searching, playing for higher stakes!

The Sweetest Starlight

You are the sweetest starlight shining across the ocean so pure
Moonlighting and enchanting my dreams with warmth aglow,
Touching gently my heart and soul with your beauty and wonder;
If we were together—I would hold you so gently in my arms and I
Would forever kiss your adoring lips with a passionate goodnight.

Love is a faraway queen rising in the morning sunshine’s warm rays,
And your light glows brilliantly as the dewdrops glisten on my dreams
Of pure sweet surrender and kiss the very depth of my immortal soul;
You are the light of Heaven's dream of a rainbow's flight of angels
Arriving at Heaven’s gate and coming to me on a beam of silver light.

Mesmerized I am as I embrace you as the heart, soul, passion and
Desire of my life—I see you as my true dream and my heart’s delight;
Feeling palpably your wonderful caress as you ask me to kiss you,
And to place your ethereal lips upon my very own knowing that
My heart and soul are open now to your loving heavenly embrace.

Sweetest Treat

~

Beneath a dark
and sinister
sky where
stars
hide behind
pumpkin patch wishes
and ghostly
dreams

Ghouls and goblins
cavort on this
final October eve
seeking candy
and other
sugary goodies,
lest a trick
be played
amidst giggles
and grins

As I watch from
eerie front porch
shadows
draped in
faux spider webs,
while my
mind
conjures
images of a
mystical
faraway beauty

Hypnotic eyes,
peering ‘pon
springtime
enchantments in
blue hydrangea
potions of
satin petals
and chiffon
shimmered
driftings

Moon glow
skin, porcelain
touches
in angelic images,
haunting desires
and affectionate
midnight
yearnings

Kisses of northern
destinations,
floating to
waiting lips,
whispering
long distance
promises
and warming
chilly smiles

And I realize
on this night
of mischief and
mayhem,
Styrofoam
headstones
and dry ice fog,
black cats
and skeletons
in doorways…

the sweetest treat
for me
will always
be you

Happy Halloween Soupers

~

Sweetest Desire

on this autumn breeze
your scent carries
alluring me
...i crave you

i can almost touch you
through imagination
i caress your edges
with gentle strokes
of my fingertips
...i desire you

i can feel you
against my lips
playfully teasing
tempting me
to follow
outside
of dreams
...i need you

i am weakened
within this temptation
i long to indulge
in the depths of you
and the pleasure you bring
...knowing you are forbidden

one weakened moment
wrapped in tender kisses
could be my demise
...i bid you farewell

my sweetest desire

The Sweetest Sensation

Passion,staring into lust,
Noses,sharing oxygen.
Our lips connect,
Lips start to stray,
Nibbling ears,kissing necks,
Closely drawn together,
Nipples piercing hairy chest,
Nails sink into back,
Head-board knocking the wall,

Knock knock,knock knock,

Deep moans,skin locked,
We counter attack,

Knock knock,knock knock,

Screams of pleasure,
Waking the whole block,

Knock knock,knock knock,

Nuclear explosion,
Volcano eruption,
AHHHH so hot,so hot,
The sweetest sensation,
 I ever got......

Premium Member You Sing the Sweetest Songs

With my hand clasped in yours
I'm strong enough to reach the stars
my love
you make my world a beautiful place
playing love songs on your guitar

If ocean waves were stairs to the moon
I'd climb each one to hear your tunes
my love
you sing the sweetest songs
as I sway in dance like a loon

chorus...
And when dawn draws near
I know I'll find you here
ever at my side
chasing away my fear

I'd shout it from mountain tops
across lakes and a mangrove copse
my love
I'd stand beside you
through a thunderstorm of raindrops

No sorrow shall I ever feel
this love we share is for real
my love
you're the one I adore
emotions my heart can never conceal

chorus...
And when dawn draws near
I know I'll find you here
ever at my side
chasing away my fear

If Winter snow covers the ground
I know where you'll be found
my love
in my arms where you belong
forever our hearts will be bound

And if dawn should not arise
tears would fill my eyes
my love
until you're in my arms
I'll wake beneath grey skies

Until you're in my arms
my love
I'll wake beneath grey skies

Premium Member Sweetest Is Their Sound

Extolling spring, oh, the robins are singing,
Lauding red-maple, bluebirds are frolicking,
There trills a cardinal fervent in courtship
Where on dogwood soulmate is gawking
And joining the symphony goldfinches fly in
Peeking from redbud, clad in blossoms pink,
Reveling in affirmation: season is blooming;

Some are scouting for earthworms in grass,
Some are building nests, wooing romance,
Playful in blue, red, yellow, and dark brown
Wafting aerial stance sweetest is their sound.

Yes, they’re aware I’m watching their show
Peering through windows, they come and go
And slyly they spy when my beloved arrives—
Orioles now drop-by aiming jealous vibes
As sparrows stealthily pry, hovering close by;
Not till she feeds them, do I hear their sigh,
Swirling in pairs they choreograph up high--
Ah, such a thrill it is to see them merrily fly!

Alas, this friendship is built on fragile bond:
When their nests are empty they’ll be gone--
Rain forests to explore and oceans to cross,
Flexing life’s liberties they’ll span on and on
Perhaps to return to where they came from,
Perhaps to opulence of freedom paramount.

Success Is Counted Sweetest

Success is counted sweetest by those
Who never tasted victory's rose
For they know the struggle and the pain
The uphill battle they fought in vain..

They strive and strive with all their might
But somehow always miss the sight
Of the finish line, of the prize
Leaving them with tears in their eyes,

Yet still they try, again and again
Hoping that someday they'll attain
The glory that the winners boast
And the satisfaction they cherish most

But in their hearts they know the truth
That success is sweeter to those who lose
For they understand the cost it takes
To achieve what everyone else makes

So let them hold on to their dreams
And cherish the struggle, so it seems
For in the end, they'll realize
That it's the journey that makes it all worthwhile..

This My Heart Cries Out, Is But A Sad Song

I shall drinketh not of Life's poison draught
Nor when famished, yield to its pleading thirst
Of Hope, goodness in Life, I was this taught
What ego so swells, it will also burst;
As man walks in darkness his steps faltered
In that weaken heart, black enters and grows,
He becomes a horse so firmly haltered
It rests between death's first destroying rows.
This my heart cries out, is but a sad song-
Man is a creature doomed to his demise,
He walketh edge of abyss, helped along
By each tempting lust evil can devise.
When sorrows demand, I death must embrace
I speaketh true,- "nay, such is a disgrace"!

Sweetest Of Moans, From Her Desirous Lips

Sweetest of moans, from her desirous lips
echoes night's glory, its fruits partaken
we had collided as love seeking ships
that each, our sad pasts, we had forsaken.

With cargo born, heart's resplendent fires
our search, with its sweetest treasures thus found
gave us cause to join love's hottest desires
and with fervor beg for chains to be bound.

Now in paradise berth, we each swore all
of deep passions to entwine in love's grip
fighting this hard world, united stand tall
swearing to never let true romance slip.

Docked and riding such sweet and peaceful waves.
We gave thanks, to a Love that truly saves.

Premium Member Sweetest 5th Grade Boy

Sweetest child in the school
5th grade
Giant puppy
If you said the sweetest kid ever
I could name him
And I would

Cry Cry Cry
I feel horrible.
Bring him to my office
Who hurt him?
What did they say?
What did they do?

In Mama Bear mode
I am going to take no prisoners
They can lie in cages eating wallpaper
And will want to after I get finished with them

Many tears later I discover
The trickster told him that he said that they said that he said that she said.
I am horrified.
I have taught six million lessons on
Not being stirred up by he-said-she-said nonsense

We discuss my lessons
Which he forgot in the heat of the moment
I know the instigator. He is a piece of work.
Can stir faster than me even, and I am pretty good at it.

Finally change subject
What will he do tonight for fun?
He finally says play ball.
A bit of a smile
Tears start

Then tears up again.
His bat is lost.
Wait a second, I say.
In the house?

Head nod.
It has to be under
something long, a bed
or a couch right?

He is stymied
Not sure now what
emotion to feel

“Do you mean I am going to have
to come to your house tonight and find our bat?”
He gives me directions and his address.

I smile.
“And what would your mother say if an old woman
Came to your house to help you find our bat?”
He stares at me a long time.
“Thank you?” he whispers.
I love sweet supersensitive
Innocent 5th grade boys

Before they fall into
the clutches of the 21-year-old
6th grade girls.
