September moon,
celestial skinny-dippers,
sangria soirée, so soused,
starlight swimming,
summertide celebratory,
singing soon sepia snapshots,
streaming in soulful sisterhood
psyches of sorrowful separating friends,
sadly, still scattered,
sweetly soliloquizing of
September of ‘76. ~
rhythmic summertide
yielding affectionate chant
in warm contentment

as i sit here
my thoughts thunder
in with the eventide
the orb of night
lights a path
as i walk along
i watch my shadow dance
tree limbs reach towards me
i can almost feel your hands
touching me
tonight's air is warm
like your breath
as it falls against me
i hear the ebb
of your breathing
mingled within
this slight breeze
and i wish you here
fireflies flicker
like stars and your eyes
and i become lost again
deep in my thoughts
the aroma of summertide lingers
through the garden,
i reach for a flower
its petal is moist and soft
like a brush from your lips
i can't help long for you
as the iris closes its petals
and surrenders to night
Sizzling sausages spit at the sun
Yes, the summertide season’s begun.
Salads,barbecued fish
And a charred veggie dish,
Summer cooking, what feasting,what fun!
Roasted pineapple next for my sweet,
Then bananas and cream, what a treat!
Melting marshmallows too
With a chocolate fondue
Summer cooking is just up my street!
I’m beginning to rue my excess.
I have over-indulged,I confess.
Summer cooking is fine
But one must draw the line
Or put up with digestive distress!

Summertide fading
alarm winks at the darkness
make no excuses
The dulcet rays of summertide extend
Their wings below the wavy crowns of trees,
Where slabs of stone adorn a path and blend
Their way across a kingdom owned by bees.
Across the waterfall, a house of stone
Stands quiet by the ivied moorland, where
The human footstep often strides alone,
Though crescent moon beams always visit there.
I’m like a raven on a branch of life,
Distrustful of my fate and of my ways,
Yet knowing that more clever is the knife
Of time, than any fox who sings my praise.
Alone with my own thoughts, protected by the heights
Of oak and elm trees, where I lie in sleep,
I feel unknown: untouched by all the lights
Spread out by stars from their celestial keep.
Across the fallows and the firths I fly
On ample whiffs of wistful stupor quelled
By the recess of chaos when I try
To tame fierce words whose ore was never welled.
As rain and winds might shred tall peaks to dust,
So does the world grow old and rise anew
Though, by sheer mutability, it must
Reveal its secrets to a chosen few.

Summertide essence~
__Your Name__
In the verdant macrocosm of summertide
Leaves on the merry boughs palpitate hearing your golden name.
The unremetting gush of Nyera-Ama river
Hasten in glee resonating thine name to the Southron flat.
Upon the crest of serene ether
Comely nymphs and angels dance in jolly bounce with thine sweet name.
The genial breeze sigh and rustle your name to the summer world,
Hearken to the birds anthem singing in aria,
It's in the crystal blue sky thine name is well abreast.
The showering from the above firmament,
Splatter your name and send down to the subterranean .
The novel flowers in the beautiful lawn
Bear your charms and waves in revelry onto your name.
My hearts beat its drum to sing along your name,
My hearts race fast to catch your name and walk alongside.
It's in poetry and metrical that poet and minstrel writes,
Bleeding thier bliss and grief in blood in your name.
The great artistes plays its fiddles resembling to your sonorous name.
Limelighted is this entire space
Celebrated and glorified by thine name
Now mefind, its thy name, waking me every auroras
Finding a reason to live my life
It's thou,and thy name
I'm breathing and still a inherent man for thee.
Thank you.

acclaim
As I lie neath an early summertide planets-aligning
eve of a celebration,
silver shooting star's sparkle above the endless
bridge of the cosmos-
a bridge where those who have passed from
earth before us stride.
Some of them children who run and shout in
astral play,
young and older couples with snowy crowns,
people of all races, all ages,
in reuniting bliss with loved ones.
Friends from their past,
and pets with eyes of welcome.
Thousands of angels as bright as many
Milky Ways on gold-gleamed chariots aflame
with newly parted souls,
escorting them to the entrance of the
starry-blessed bridge to begin their heavenly
journey walks.
I dreamt in God's colors in rainbows arcing
in glorious spectrums,
synchronizing with music of hereafter
coursing in my elder veins,
delighting my psyche.
And I recall in deepest sleep,
memories of the goodness of many
strangers,
so pure and unbenighted. ~
I shall not love thee but in summertide,
Nor only in the blush of fragrant spring;
I shall not love thee but when sorrows hide:
To time and tempers all, my heart I bring.
summertide lilacs barefoot in grass....peach tea alight
butterfly dreams
cinnabar and cinnamon
strawberries and cherries
apricots and luscious mango
windchimes and crystals
hummingbirds and butterflies
sailboats and sunsets
summer nights and nuptials
