She moans and tosses
He sleeps lightly as always
And quickly is wide awake
Aware of her every move
He knows what will follow
He is ready
The moaning becomes a scream
He feels the terror
Knows the vile dragon that she battles
In her nightmare
Filled with hatred for the beast
He moves closer to her
“Don’t touch me!
Get your dirty filthy hands off me
“Get off…Get OFF
Stop it! STOP!” She shrieks
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
And he gently shakes her awake
Then moves back
As she bursts into sobs
“It’s just a dream…
I’m here….sh….there now
It’s only me!
He’s gone…he’s gone!”
And yet…though every cell
Is dying to rock her in his arms
He holds back
Knowing…she will cringe at his touch
And push him away
If he moves too fast
First he must slay the dragon
“I’ll never let him touch you again”
He whispers…gently moving closer…closer
“He’s gone…Gone.”
He is almost there
“If he EVER lays a finger on you…
I’ll make him pay….
You’re safe with me.
He won't EVER hurt you again."
Her hysterical sobbing
Quiets down
Almost imperceptibly
She sits up and pulls her knees in to herself
Burying her face in them as she rocks back and forth
Crying....more softly now
“NO ONE will ever hurt you again….”
There…he’s ready to gather her into his arms
She looks up into his eyes
The look of revulsion disappears
When she sees the dragon slayer of her dreams
There beside her…with love in his eyes
Still she holds back...feeling tainted, spoiled…dirty
Her hands running up and down her arms
Desperate to clean the marks
Of dragon fingerprints
Burned into her flesh
He understands and whispers
“You are mine now"…
He holds her hand
"You are so beautiful....
My angel…
I'm"...
And before he finishes
She throws herself into his arms
And holds on for dear life
To the dragon slayer...
Her savior
He doesn't know how long it takes
Until she falls back to sleep
Her even rhythmic breathing
Warming his neck
His arms enfolding her
There is so much he can't understand
So much of her that he still doesn't know
But he is sure of one thing…
He’d give his everything
He'd give his life
To slay every last dragon
Of her night.

“Slay me a dragon,” a maiden requested
“ I will, I will!” he said.
And he did, and the maiden was
Appropriately appreciative.
And time went by….
This time the maiden asked for
diamonds and pearls.
He thought for a moment,
remembering her charms.
“ I will find you a treasure”
he said..and he did.
But the maiden was tired and only
had time for a quick kiss
And thank you…
And more time went by….
No longer a maiden, her luster fading
.she begged him to “ take out the trash”.
He did, grudgingly, asking for his just
reward.”please, dragon steak for dinner”
and she obediently complied.
And time went by….
One day he found himself under the apple tree,
kissing the baker’s beautiful daughter.
“Slay me a dragon,” she asked… “ I will, I will,” he said.
And so it goes…
Dragon Slayer! Dragon Slayer! Just say it isn’t so! Just Look at that cutesy face!
Behind the scary teeth, fire, and smoke… Choke…Ah… he’s gentle to embrace!
Moody, sulky, get even-ish, is truly he. But to have him, is so cool… and so hot!
And, I truly do mean Hot! Fire retardant suit’s a must, as there’s fire… often, a lot!
He’s just a baby, waiting to be taught. I tried to teach him, how to fly me thru the air.
Instead, he dumped me in a treetop, it took all day to get down, until I despaired.
To help me down, he lit the tree afire, as his wings errantly fanned the roaring flames.
I jumped, and he smiled a toothy grin, because I was safe, he steadfastly claims.
I’m on crutches, nearly bent his tail. But he loves me, you can tell, see he puffs at me!
Grandpa Troll gives us time out, when there’s a tiff, as my dragon, is petulant, you see.
At times, he sits across the lake from me, blowing fire and smoke ¾ across the lake.
He’s such a sensitive thing, he took my couch to the lake, upon sitting, it did break.
I got upset and called him fat…he tried to steam me, as fire is such, a No- No.
For, he had learned to not throw fire… at least when Grandpa Troll is, there, tho…
He needs to be first, the center of attention, seen in his cunning life’s plots, galore!
He taught my Trolls a happy dance, while waiting their first boat ride. Silly Dragon!
They sunk my boat! It's believed, he was getting even for being last in line, you think?
And he stomped off, perturbed, when told no more rides until the boat is unsink-ed.
He’d been last, for breaking my roof for another (fourth) time, but it will soon be fixed.
You see, he gets lonely, while waiting for me, to come outside to play, the little minx!
He CAN be hard on insurance, as I got cancelled and my bills are higher than a kite!
And when the Supreme Leader of the Universe, came to our picnic on a motorbike…
Dragon, accidentally, released his Dogs of War, while sitting on his Harley Bike.
Honestly, the flat tires can be fixed, the body unbent, and the spokes were given back.
I explained they weren’t HIS toothpicks… he truly looked sad as sad can be, at that.
Never fear, we caught the Dogs of War before they had time to… do great harm.
You can just imagine how great this dragon will eventually be, when all grown up.
Dragon Slayer, indeed! Grandpa Troll gave him to me. He’s sweet as sweet can be!
I'm a demon slayer
I cut to another layer
You know they have no prayer
I'm no delayer
Come lookin for me
Should let me be
I'll never be free
I will tear apart thee
Oh what a tangled web we weave
I'm not here to deceive
Don't care if you believe
From your pain, I will relieve
I'm JAY MOORE
In hell they roar!
We'll take no more
I'll be there, after and before
So then I go to HELL
This story I will tell
My soul did I sell
I went there, and" oh well"
"Come get it"
Into the fire pit
So hot, it was lit!
I do not quit!
What do I have to lose?
To late to choose
Can't worry bout no bruise
I WILL ABUSE!
Try me! Test me!
You will see
Unfavorably
Oh, you came for your fee
Sure I'll pay
All I can say
Just not today
Best get on your way
I'm like no other
Get away brother
I'm a mean mother
Sumpinornother
Didn't believe me
So I let them see
Trying to be free
To me, I have the key
Have you heard a demon scream
I'm not talkin a dream
This was livestream
I need no team
FAITH! that's your friend
That GOD did send
Your beliefs he did try to bend
Thank you , send!
No one can imagine the horrors you've seen
The terrible events that must appear in your dreams
You can rarely share the evil you've seen
It must encroach your soul, your entire being
Defending a tourtured evil soul
Takes courage, knowledge, devotion, a goal
Trying to fight for a murderer's life
Because your love of the law, gives you your might
It's strengthened you, toughened you, wore down your heart
Putting others before you, you'll go down with a fight
Never judging the crime, the person, the soul
Fair treatment to all is your only goal.
Following statutes,motions and cases before
Devoting your all, deserving much more
It takes courage, thick skin, and love of mankind
To sit across many of the evilest minds
Doing the best job defending their crimes
Takes a person that understands what's inside their mind
Putting yourself in a mind such as theirs
Must have its consequences over the years
Yet you plug on defending these people for years
No one allowed to see your real tears
Your compassion for victims, children's lost lives
Must be buried inside, fighting for the other's lives
Your rarely given praise by society it seems
Even though what you do must affect all your dreams
I'm proud to say that my brother will fight
Even for those that don't respect life.
It takes a special person that chooses this life that you live
For the freedom of unjustly accused all your time you will give
Even if you save a few that weren't bad
The emotional toll on your life makes me quite sad.
For in the end whether or not you have won
Your caseload continues it does not sound fun.
It takes character,finesse intelligence too
To continue defending is what you must do.
Hail to the Dragon Slayer?
From Metro-Goldwyn Mayer?
What did he really do?
Except charge me and you
To joust another player!
Once upon a time, a bold knight started his quest
That led him to the fearsome beast's enclave,
Radiant in an armor of courage shining like gold
Where the Dragon roared from disturbed sleep,
As vile creature spewed blasts of heated flame,
Unsettling the master's gait down to the rocks.
But the hero regained fast with his shield, mighty
As lightning, and charged the dragon once, twice;
To where the barbed point struck a monster's chest...
Undaunted, this giant Draco retaliated in haste
Lashing out talons upon our hero's smaller form,
While the mad creature drew it most lethal blow
Now causing the noble knight to fall into a daze.
O, his loyal unicorn retrieved his master's sword
That angered the dragon, anew, reeling a fire...
With his steed alive through chroming on its head
In daring rush, brave knight punctured enemy's sides
Aiming at Draco's eyes, the poison found there;
Like a whip, the empire's villain met its death:
And gallant victor pulled the dragon's head
Which he offered to the king-- a prized endowment,
As for our warrior... dearest princess, his bride!

We fought as one,
the blood it run,
All around our feet ,
Our bronze age swords ,
Were not ignored ,
We sliced and diced so sweet,
The dragon came again,
again,
it’s Stinking breath remained,
remained,
Like sulphur as it chilled,
the best of brains,
We tottered on our feet,
When we beat it back,
t’was bloody lame,
Still it fought just fought,
the bloody same,
Our sanity remained insane,
No quarter no retreat,
Its blood all the hollows filled,
We fought, yes fought all day,
Till finally a death did play,
Its part so sorrow-full,
Greybeard lay in the hollow way,
My friend was by the Dragon killed,
So I slashed some more,
and foully swore, *%@!!-
My blade would bloody spill,
His blood and gore, for bloody sure,
Until,
I did that Dragon slay?
I thrust some sure,
my anger raw
At its throat with careful skill,
Blue murder,
I aimed for the throat the more,
I hacked and punched and shrilled!
He reared up in awful pain,
Almost drowned,
by the red blood cloud,
as I stabbed for its heart again,
Through the sticky red blood shroud,
he fell on me teeth a biting see,
I hacked and sliced his throat,
My one good arm and blade were free,
Till crimson was his coat,
The death rattle came to he,
The eater of our sheep,
His spirit soared away from me,
Till,
Death on him did sweep,
So in legend, speak they well,
Of mighty men these two,
And how the warrior Greybeard fell,
When he the Dragon slew.

Beneath the shadows Buffy prowls to use “Mr. Pointy” her favorite stake
Under the tunnels she finds the blood suckers and lives she does take
Falling in love with Angel who is a good vampire with an actual soul
Feeling compassion for the worst killer in history sure took a toll
Young love was found as he fell in deep love with her too
The bad thing is if he feels one moment of true joy they were through
He found that joy and became the evil man as he’s ever been
Everyone in Sunnydale became enemies of this once true friend
Vindictive by nature he traveled out and went on a killing spree
After a few weeks he found his way back to the arms of Buffy
Memories they share but they can no longer be together
Poor Buffy had hoped they would be soul-mate’s forever
In the cemetery is where her and the crew slays vampires
Revealing the madness of also sending them to hell by fire
Each of them help; Willow, Xander and her mentor Mr. Giles
Searching for ways to save the day they travel for many miles
Lurking in darkness, Spike, also known as “William the Bloody”,
Attacked and killed innocents for years, yet fell in love with Buffy
Yet another vampire in love with the enemy who won’t slay a friend
Every day preventing apocalypses while to hell vampires she did send
Regardless of the chaos and love triangles she saved the world in the end

Prowls on patrol,
Buffy The Vampire Slayer,
Vampire,Demon,dust.
the castle is off in the distance now I can see it as the sun burns down. the quest is one I can share with my son for this time the dragon I did slay with their lives many my knights did pay. they was hero's in my eyes as seeing their bones I despised. a meat eater the evil lizard was as he rest in a cave in the mountains above. I admit I was as scared as one man could be shaking violently as his forked tounge I did see. his eyes so red glowed in the dark as I threw my torch and watched the sparks. before I knew it I was driving my sword threw his scaly head finally the dragon was dead. all the families ,the lost dads makes me so very sad. as I enter the court yard I am greeted by the king thanking me for a job well done too the dragon he lost his only son.
dragons that he slew..
tiny roosting dragonflies..
laugh tears in her eyes..
When it’s repeated in the media
It becomes imprinted in our mind
Past tragedies get resurrected
Presented as occurrences in modern times
Slavery, gender inequalities
Sexual identities undefined
Ironically, the worlds getting easier
Yet we’ve regressed to darker times
Most of the dragons have been slayed
As we’ve progressed throughout the years
Our perspective has become distorted
A life of ease, creating irrational fears
Stress and depression
Manifesting in this world of ease
Creates distorted thinking
Contributing to over reactive anxiety
No doubt there was a fight for equality
A greater balance for a women and a man
Race wars were very real
Until a moral line was drawn in the sand
But in this new world we live in
We see dragons everywhere
We’ve crippled our children
By telling them they are special, and that life is always fair
We’re extremely guilty of past history
Shamed by events that happened before we were alive
Instead of appreciating our advancement
We chosen to wallow in our despise
We should fully acknowledge our past
And be thankful for today
Learn from the mistakes we've made
Create stronger relationships along the way
The dragons have been slayed
Our time is quickly coming to the end
We’re fighting enemies
Not even aware of the one within
As we move forward
We must learn to temper the fight
We must right our wrongs
And appreciate our human rights
As the battle rages on
America continually leads the way
Let's stop fighting one another
So we can all look forward to brighter days
The story had begun
On a rainy afternoon;
As twilight settled over the land.
Darkness covered the pinkish clouds,
Rain has started to fall, too hard
And the wind whistled in un- tune sounds
Owl crying and the horror climb in my vain.
Lost in a creepy place
Where vampires hide,
Springing out of the dark of the woods
Their eyes red, their fangs sharp.
Walking fast as I could
Trying to hide from the demons of the nights.
Cast away in a forest where I went
Shadow of the moon is only the light
I heard trees laugh like witches
Foxes making a noise, a sign that
Vampires are just around the corner.
I see from the above flying
Strange creatures, they are powerful
More than a hundred humans
They are after me trying to suck my blood
They are the vampires, the demons of the night.
Can’t take one more step to escape from them
Suckers of the blood that’s they are called
I try to cover myself with my two hands
My body shivers I lost my consciousness.
The sunlight wake up to me
Fresh morning air, sweet fragrance
Of flowers surrounded on me,
Knowing that I survived from a nightmare.
The last moment I had remembered
There was a man standing in front of me.
The vampire slayer who rescued me
He fought with bloody fire arms.

STRANDED CONTEST (Gail Doyle)
Do not assume that I am clueless,
To the puzzles you create,
It's reckless,
It's Helpless,
Some sort of temptress,
Who wants me to create a demon,
But I am better than you,
I know when I am being clawed at by the devil,
And I am quite good at solving puzzles,
All it takes is a little confidence,
A little brain,
A little smile,
And the temptress is slain,
Do not assume that I am clueless,
You solved the puzzle on my own,
