"I have been a stranger in a strange land." Bible, Exodus 2:22
I have been a stranger
I have been in a strange land
Land of forsaken frangipanis
Land of black diamonds
Diamonds never decay
Diamonds forever sparkle
Sparkle like neon fireflies
Sparkle amidst darkness
Darkness depicting light
Darkness illuminating skies
Skies sketched in topaz tints
Skies mirroring my spirit
Spirit of a forlorn wanderer
Spirit of a firm believer
Believer veiled unseen
Believer sings hymns unheard
Unheard sagas of truth
Unheard tunes of time
Time twirls through confusion
Time enveloped in silence
Silence is a fragrant dialect
Silence is misunderstood
Misunderstood yet deafening
Misunderstood monologues
Monologues of the strawberry moon
Monologues of sunflower scriptures
Scriptures of sacred seasons
Scriptures lost in deserted dunes
Dunes of healing heartbeats
Dunes of forgotten dreams
Dreams of a midnight Jasmine
Dreams of a faded star
Star that guides the raven dusk
Star that flickers pink gold
Gold is the color of faith
Gold ribboned with hope
Hope is an emerald home
Hope is a thriving tulip
Tulip personifies awakening
Tulip honeyed in harmony
Harmony from serenades of serenity
Harmony of singing sunrise
Sunrise painted in poetry
Sunrise and rainbows
Rainbows with quartz runes
Rainbows of colored revelations
Revelations unnamed
Revelations untold
Untold…
Unnamed…
Professor Hapgood’s studies on ancient maps were fixed
Einstein said his theories should be added to history’s mix
Perhaps it proved too big a leap for other minds to take
But his ancient culture findings, Hapgood would not forsake
6000 BC, before Egypt’s pyramids were built
Millennia before Pompeii’s lava had been spilled
Or small fishing boats hugged the Mediterranean Coast
And Columbus’s “daring” voyage was not even close
Ancient seafarers drew with astounding accuracy
Maps of the world they once knew, the fishermen’s legacy
Antarctica sans ice and closer to the equator
The Mid-Atlantic Ridge once an above-sea sky scraper
Siberia touching Alaska with no Bering Strait
(Palin could have seen Russia without snow from her back gate)
Cuba, England, Sweden, too, on these maps appear clearly
But Sweden’s fully glacial; England’s blanket an ice sheet
If we believe Hapgood, a civilization once thrived
Thousands of years before language; maps keep memories alive
Technology to chart the seas was lost in ancient times
With latitude and longitude measurements quite refined
Sea kings’ cities may have succumbed during the last Ice Age
Surviving nations lost their skill when history turned a page
Geography to be found again when the Earth had healed
“Discoverers” reinvented the forgotten ship’s wheel
Magellan, perhaps not the first to sail around the globe
Admiral Byrd not the first man to visit the South Pole
Spirits from a colony of seafarers can be found
From deep beneath Antarctic ice, they try to spread the word
But laugh they must as scientists forecast global warming
And man attempts to alter life and heed their dire warning
Shifting poles? Natural cycles! Men would be well advised
To study the maps Hapgood found and open their closed minds
To learn more about Professor Charles Hapgood’s map studies and the comments made by
Albert Einstein, you can visit http://www.crystalinks.com/crustal.html.
Warmth, surrounded me…always
My lips, my eyes, closed…
Mesmerized by the darkness that brought me consolation
I remember there were colors under those lids,
Green, spurts of purple…and sporadic yellows and reds
They danced and flashed
Whenever your voice rumbled and vibrated my abode
I remember the earthquakes of laughter
That pushed me against the soft, supported side…
I merely bounced back to the middle again
My legs, bending, and then kicking off against it
My body twirling in the lavish liquid
Natural twists and turns that were later underappreciated
Twists and turns that were who I was
I didn’t realize they would always shape who I am
Deep voice—music—surrounded me always
My ears opened to the muffled marvel
Curious of the outside world that birthed the mysteries of who I am
I recall frustration, kicking against your soft insides….
Colors of black, gray tints, and calming browns…
That left me gurgling for more of those outside sounds
Because that first day I heard the lightning yells
The hot swells of your insides boiled
My body twirled and twirled as I heard you wail
Crying…sobbing…
My heart beat faster—wanting more to leave this vessel
Wanting to be a separate thing
Wanting all to hear me scream
To feel the cold, rubbery hands of a stranger
Lift me—and to your breast—gift me
It was always the warmth of the liquid
And the comfort of our bond
That always remained
Bonds and beliefs never dry
Blood is blood
Color is color
It is living to be separate that makes us gods
Brain rewired
The spine of prison rattles
Hearts harden
Hungry dogs
Chomp on the bars and the bones
Of his hope
He is lost
Dreams and fears confirm his tears
Time is gone
Guilty truths
Drizzle down his swollen cheeks
“God, I’m yours. . .
Lift my eyes
For your light is my way to
Shame my foes. . .
My clothes droop
My body slumped against death
This soul swells. . .
I need her. . .
If only you knew how much
I miss her. . .
I need You
For You have stayed here with me
Patiently. . .”
The sun peeks
His sad eyes take in the warmth
His heart melts
We are free
The sky is open to you
Now Stay Strong

I’m in a psychology class and as part of it we filled out several, detailed, personality evaluations. They said these were helpful in forming a psychological profile of the freshmen classes each year and of particular interest were these COVID years.
The professor said she’d be available, before finals, to review them with us if we were interested - and I volunteered. So in our review we’re going over my results and she says: “Your trauma history could produce this constellation of wit, wiriness and attachment-anxiety.”
I flinch, irritably, thinking, my “trauma history?” What, “trauma history?” Wondering if - maybe the professor was looking at the wrong paper?
She read my reaction and the consternation on my face, started flipping through the papers, and said, “According to the history you submitted, your father was killed when you were seven and you were hospitalized for...”
“OMG” I thought, blanking out what she was saying, “How could I have forgotten THAT?” Even for a moment. Then I sag with this oppressive, blanket-like wave of guilt at having put the crash so far out of my mind.
“The dismissal of childhood trauma is quite normal,” she said, putting her hand on my arm, “You have to put trauma out of your everyday thoughts - to get on with your life.” She assured me. “It’s quite normal.”
How many blind sides do I have? I wondered
Revelations Of Beguiling Gaze, From The Witch's Head
From dark abyss, many light-years away
witch's head, its beguiling, evil gaze,
yellow-eyed sockets, curses to betray
far more sinister in that blacken haze.
Alas! Its lights gleam in brightest allure.
Leading its lost victims to blindness sure.
She steeped in paganism, its evil spells
spiral coils, deceiving serpent-like trance,
heaving breasts, illusions from distant hell
baits true romantics, by star rays romance.
Alas! Its lights gleam in brightest allure.
Leading its lost victims to blindness sure.
Her reach, into space and far, far beyond
mighty darken surge, her galactic source,
hiding darkness of which devils are fond
to destroy innocent mortals of course.

the swinging swings
of the ups and downs
of the unbalanced scales
of justice now hang stilled
and suspended in bigoted air
anchored by the selfish weight
of the 5th amendment privilege
that remains a death sentence
choice for the defending
underprivileged innocent…
brutalized innocent mortals
whose spiritual morality abhors
death penalty finalization but
whose same moralistic
spiritualization upholds the
thy shall not kill commandment
must likewise demand the unwritten
beatitude of justice for the forgiving
meek consistently brutalized by acts
of non-good samaritan atrocities
chiseled in abject crucifixion on zion
mountains of molded injustices...
today’s waiting and being
of good courage has become
the teasing test of waning time
tic-toting life’s hours of redemptive
realities caged in the belly bowels
of a seemingly abandoned noah-like
arch sailing a treacherous sea of hell
with sour flowing tears from bitter eyes
stayed on the prize of promised equality
we still sing sweet amazing grace songs
applauding the coming resurrection
of our declared redemptive liberation
for like those of moses out of africa
we are the new exodus people sojourning
the shadowed valley of death with undying
faith in the promise of that beautiful morning
when time breaks up in eternity setting god’s
beloved hued children free at last…
Broken TV Revelations
Alone, countless ancient uncles
linger in confessional apartments—
stare into virgin wombs
of empty TV screens, reciting
lines from old John Wayne movies.
They know the words
like pearls cast -- sip communion coffee,
swallow mute manna of Wheaties
as they trowel moist smoothness
of remotes
in spattered stone mason hands,
plumb-lining life’s purpose.
The gods
will make it right—
resurrect the Duke
to his virile glory.
For now, sermons suffice—
mind’s pictures chiseled
into resurrected cocoons,
screeding heavenly images
like fleshy mortar
as they wait the mason
and slowly savor
the lost teachings
of big John’s
benevolent fist.
No more coats and woolen mittens. It's a time of new beginnings, when a dormant world awakens from Winter's slumber. Thawing snow becomes dancing brooks, quenching the thirst of Mother Earth. Birds feather their nests, trees bud anew, flowers open to bloom, and so does the love within my heart. The breath of Spring gives me reason to sing as I confess my love for you.
Clear are the frosted window panes of glass.
Winter coats and mittens are stored away.
Visible are the blades of fresh green grass,
As I feast my eyes on this sweet Spring day.
Daffodils bloom, buds burst on maple trees.
Trickling streams flow to a raging river.
A songbird's sweet trills waft upon the breeze
I thank Spring for being such a giver.
My heart also sings of love now unbound,
But I would be guilty and thus remiss,
If to you, the one my dear heart has found,
I'd not bestow upon your lips, our first kiss.
I find it hard to breathe on this Spring day.
Because you have taken my breath away

REVELATIONS
The SCREAMING, The CRIES
Right beneath our EYES
Right beneath our FRUITED PLAINES
Right beneath our SPACIOUS SKIES
On a JET FUELED PLANE THEY CAME!
ENEMY IN DISGUISE
Who to BLAME?
CLEVER, CUNNING, AND KEEN
The so called MAGNIFICENT SIXTEEN
ENEMY UNSEEN
The fighting would BEGIN
ENEMY WITHIN
THE LIGHTNING, THE THUNDER
New WEAPONS made to PLUNDER
The STATES AND THEIR DEMISE?
Martial law KEPT UNDER?
THE OCEANS WOULD RISE
Say the SAGES AND THE WISE
The LATTER DAYS...The HEREAFTER?
BANKS WOULD FALL TO HACKERS
TWAS A DARK, DARK CHAPTER
Oh my God I've NEVER!
BIOTERROR!- Freedom isn't FREE
Just one ERROR- MULTIPLE CITIES!
A scale that was IMMENSE!- LA, NEW YORK...DC
Refugees in TENTS- SEEN ON IPHONES AND TVeees'
CATASTROPHIC EVENTS
THE THIRD WORLD WAR
SCREAMS OF REPENT
HEARD RUMORS IGNORED
Oh My God in HEAVEN!
This day I swore I'd SEE
A Triple 911 NINE ELEVEN
Billions would PITY
Your on CENTER STAGE
Satellites way UP HIGH
WE ENTER THE AGE OF THE ALL SEEING EYE
An alienation of Revelations
The rudimentary elements, all collapsed broke free
The whole ordeal made no sense at all
Eclipses and darkened wars of solitude made the eve
It was difficult to comprehend and to accept.
The deluge of torrid ramblings filled my deranged and already on edge mind
I got flung into the arms of the prevalent, push and pull, struggle
I plummeted, head first into a deathly vortex of inhibition and
Lack of strength
The fears that once pursued me, appeared right in front of my eyes
Their ice cold stares, annihilated all resistance left in me
I let go. I had had enough of the charade
My brave soul searched for some light but there was none to be found
All the avenues were blocked off, no access or solace present.
I was an empty vessel of strength, all of me was worthless. Nothing to move this heavy load I was carrying around with me,
Gripping the saddles and reins of this dark horse I was riding on,
All the thudding and clopping could not compete with the cacophonous beating heart.
Nothing could silence the devils taunts, nor the resonating screech of my torn soul
In search of some help and comfort, I crutched across the landscape, looking for some shade
But the shades were to dark a reality to part with, memories ran too deep; the memories ran to deep
Alienation of a different order, I got locked out of my already fragile mind.
As the clock struck one, I found myself at the bridge of defeat.
My precious heart a victim to the arson, the smoldering remnants of a dying past
A single breathe escapes my lips and like some weird musical
My croaking soulless heart gave one last shriek then died
Like chaff in the, ever changing, wind my conscience drifted away.
As the smoke cleared and everything came into focus
I find my hand gripping a still burning matchstick
As the sun started to rise, the fire extinguished
A simple question awakens within the depth of my senses
What have I done?
The imprimatur
Immortal blessings die now
Agony in faith
Make an opening for daylight to enter
a subject planted behind the eyes
reflections of the truth have deeper foundations
All life matters regardless of how insignificant
some may put labels on disturbing reality
The spirit of wickedness born in human beings
How every desire that their hearts conceived
was always deeply rooted in nothing but evil
devoured by hate driven by corrupted morals
Twisted within those destroying this earth turning tides
when the righteous and blameless stand accused of wrong doing
something in the end is not right with humanity to begin with
After a day of mixed hopes and disappointments
I lay down upon my old mattress
and watch
the television station where thy play new age music
and offer poignant quotes
sometimes they have Zen koans
Tonight I saw words
from Allan Watts
and Yoko Ono
there is nothing wrong with being a New Age person
Beautiful images on this channel
I just viewed clouds around a mountainside
Then a quote from Helen Keller - that remarkable woman
I will drift off into a pleasant sleep
as I keep the channel on
Enough of horrific news
I's find peace and wisdom
here in my home in New York's Lower East Side
