Best Rainfall Poems
Hiding alone in the shadows
guarded, trusting no one
silently watching, waiting
Is life worth living?
Can anyone save him?
His vision clouded, blurred
The sunless skies have him confused
Rainfall begins
a drenching and soaking rain
pours down
flooding the autumn bonfires
Which blazed in once upon a time
with ardent passion
in the dense forest
of happily ever afters

I love the gentle rains of spring
falling with felicity as they sing.
A symphony of sweet romance
Clamor to“Come out and dance”
So, I shall join the raindrops there
While pirouetted through the air
As rain rolls and returns, I'll sway
As they perform an aerial ballet
The rain will bear a rhythmic beat
On the pavement squishy and sweet
We shall twirl a tango at nature ball
Whilst the sparkling waters mildly fall
Afterward, when the skies start to clear
And the epic dancing is utterly here
I accompany the newly formed rainbow
Raindrops shifting offer a serenade show
Yet, their call will resound in my ears
As supple showers start to fall as tears
Until then, my emotions will remain
The delight of dancing through the rain
As the dogs led me on our walk, I took a chance and left my raincoat behind despite the threatening clouds. The sky turned from dappled to grey but I stayed dry, although my legs were damp from dogshake after we past the creek.
In the woods, the air was quiet as nervous birds flitted silently from tree to tree, uncertain if they should hunker down to feed for a few more days or move on afore it gets too cold.
Across the border, the wanta be leaders of the flock, all dressed up in party suits, are playing a different game with stakes almost as high. And while I don’t have a vote I sure do hope that Hillary trumps Donald.
(by Sara Edgen-Baker & Mystic Rose)
"Let the rain kiss you like a silver liquid drop
as it sings to you a lullaby of love"
I am a soft pitter-patter, a gentle lullaby, a cascading melody,
trickling down your windowpane.
Each droplet is a note in nature’s symphony
I am a timeless storyteller weaving tales on the canvas of earth,
every droplet is a word, each puddle a paragraph.
I am a ballet of nature graceful & wild, leaping from rooftops,
pirouetting through puddles watch me, as I dance!
I am an intimate embrace from the sky, I wash away the dust of the day,
and also your burdens, your worries, your heartaches, your pain.
I am a thousand liquid globes reflecting on the greenery,
of Mother Nature's lawn...
I am a heavy downpour and sometimes, a drizzle
falling gently on your head, like a blessing from above !
I am forever changing form and shifting from one state to another,
I am either liquid rain or frozen snow,
I am a natural white noise, a vapor in your glistening thoughts,
a gentle kiss on a sweet Forget-Me-Not.
I AM, RAIN
A hush of gray descends, the world outside a blur
Of weeping glass and dancing leaves, a gentle stir.
The scent of wet earth and cooled pavement climbs the air,
As warmth from a steaming cup soothes away all care.
In her hands, a porcelain hug, the tea's floral grace,
Sweet steam whispers against the skin of her face.
The book on her knees, a weight of stories untold,
Its paper scent, a comfort, a history to hold.
The rhythmic drum of rain against the pane,
A soft, percussive melody to wash away the pain.
Each drop a tiny echo of a memory long past,
A life unfolding, too beautiful to ever last.
A sip of warmth, a bitter-sweet and soothing brew,
A taste of all the moments she has ever been through.
The cool ceramic on her palms, a solid, gentle feel,
The world outside is fading, but this moment is so real.
She closes her eyes and listens to the low hum,
The quiet symphony of the world she's come from.
The taste of tea, the smell of rain, the warmth within her soul,
The past and future merge to make her present whole.
Out in a rainfall;
Hopeful but woeful waters,
Pitifully falls...
Lightning wretchedly dances,
Thunders echoed and resound...
Whenever rain falls,
It is an answered prayer for the fruitfulness of the earth
The earth buried seeds spring up in freedom
To give expression to their potential
It is the glory of the trees in the forest
That after their death, they live on
It is joy of animals in the jungle
For they have more and fresh food to eat
Only the earth prayed for rain
The seeds buried down in the earth,
The trees of the forest, the animals in the jungle
And more benefited from the earth’s prayer
A word of prayer in faith according to His will from you
Could affect millions just at that point you are standing

- RAINFALL
By: Jade T. Miraflores
I can hear sweet music in every drop that falls.
Soothing unto my being,
bringing nostalgia into play.
When you fall and you own the universe,
I can help myself dancing through your alluring grace.
My voice cheerfully yells the life-blooming noise.
I tap my feet into the ground,
my arms stretched to feel your embrace.
I cuddle with you,
caressing and petting.
Ohh, your infinity fills the withered.
You speak none, yet I hear you whisper;
come, life is wonderful even when there is RAIN!
It poured heavy rain
During the early evening
The wind was howling
The boughs of the trees dancing
To the beat of pouring rain
So the October sky let loose its stores
in drip and drop as nature restores
the wilted and silted back to life.
A rainbow here, a rainbow there.
All signs of good fortune in time.
The Shuramuroves* flock in distant sky,
criss-crossing in their flap of honor.
Seers cast bones to the harvest of March,
some say it will be too little some too much,
but the bushes are cleared,
Readied for what the farmer bestows.
Sheep bleat to the mounds of chaffs,
cattles goaded for the till
as children pleasure in rain dances.
Some catch ishwa for relish,
some make mud houses
in endeavor to turn around wishes.
Like fallen heroes buried to rise no more,
no seed underneath jingle with the bells of Christmas.
All hopes washed away by October storm.
Not even dew will save the bushes.
Skeletal trees hang, so void of foliage.
The blue sky ushers down the sun’s heat
to lick up our hopes in storms of dust
in relive of the gust of August.
Some say the breeze from the west
got us into this mess.
Some say the gods are longing for an apology
for the granted wish of that fateful November night.
After this hot summer days,
I saw every bird on their ways,
To find a roof upon their heads,
Shortly, each bird will be seen on every window,
And enjoying the drops as television premier!
Along this pleasurable cloudburst,
There also comes the cool breeze,
This makes the tree bow through wind,
I also see leaves taking shower and having pleasure from rain,
On this delightful monsoon which is too fame!
After this warm summer days,
I saw every farmer having a smile on their face,
Even saw crops dancing from the base,
And noticed each flower to come out from the vase,
To appreciate the site of this blissful downpour!
After this sweltering summer days,
Every child plays along with their boats,
Made up of paper and can float,
They with it with an aim in their mind,
“We wouldn’t go, till the shower goes!”
If there would be a hierarchy of season,
I assure this showery period,
Will be the first to acclaim,
The title of ‘Best Season’ as it deserves,
And the first rank which is obvious!
Clouds accumulate
Droplets plummet steadily
Saturated earth
rainfall cascading
quenching the thirsty parched lands
heavenly blessings
*Leviticus 26:4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

The damp leaves fluttered after rainfall
In a light breeze still passing through
The clouds dispersed and sky turned blue
With cool air under pines standing tall
For a moment, everything was alright
Peaceful as the happy birds flying by
A refreshing moment, nothing to try
Just rest, with clear refreshing insight
My heartbeat calmed, by sun shining through
Reaching the window to my soul inside
I was able to let my steady thoughts glide
As my eyes surveyed such a beautiful view
Lost serenity returned, on the tail of a breeze
That settled me within, as it touched my face
I was grounded in a realm of a special place
Unlocked for now, with nature’s valuable keys
