Symphony of Rainfall

Written: February 22, 2024 __________________________________ I love the gentle rains of spring falling with felicity as they sing. A symphony of sweet romance Clamor to“Come out and dance” So, I shall join the raindrops there While pirouetted through the air As rain rolls and returns, I'll sway As they perform an aerial ballet The rain will bear a rhythmic beat On the pavement squishy and sweet We shall twirl a tango at nature ball Whilst the sparkling waters mildly fall Afterward, when the skies start to clear And the epic dancing is utterly here I accompany the newly formed rainbow Raindrops shifting offer a serenade show Yet, their call will resound in my ears As supple showers start to fall as tears Until then, my emotions will remain The delight of dancing through the rain

So beautiful and rhythmic like the fall of rain. Very direct and sweet! When sun rains down spears of blistering heat in our place, I long to get wet in the shower of rain. When the epic dancing is over, there arches a rainbow in the sky. These days we hardly see a rainbow even after it rains.... ! May be due to the rise in temperature. Getting soaked in the falling rain was indeed a pleasurable experience as a child. I have got beatings from my parents for the same. All those nostalgic memories, you have revived in me, dear Lasaad !

Gotta love a good rain shower! It's always a treat to watch and to experience. I find that the sound of the drops striking the surface is sometimes like applause.

Dearest Lasaad! Your poem overflows with "rain "delight!" Having grown up in the NW with rain as a companion many days, your poem takes me back home in the most delightful ways with memories of rainy nights, "squishy" ground and the raindrops "aerial ballet!" Your word choice and images are spot on perfectly conveying splashing through puddles, watching the rain and finding joy in every drop! Best wishes if this for a contest. Many blessings to you my friend!

As always such captivating rhymes dear sotto, i love the descriptive flow of this, and the way youv written. The gentle rain of spring and your love for it so well expressed. This is one of those poems that lifts me up and leaves my soul warm, because of the gentle flow and the delicate touch of language, so well articulated! I especially loved “ Afterward, when the skies start to clear And the epic dancing is utterly here I accompany the newly formed rainbow” gorgeous!!! Fave it is

Perhaps there is a song in rain. It is certainly rhythmic. I enjoyed the picture, sound and dance of this poem.

To repeat a line- it's truly a delight dancing in the rain..and I love rains, walking in the rain, boots sloshing through the wet roads...but that's just the child in me remembering youthful days. Lovely rhymes.
