She and the handsome gentleman finalized the contract, and he gently placed
the antique pearl necklace into the palm of her tiny hand. As he walked away,
she fantasized about making love with him, for he possessed both charm and
exceptional good looks; he certainly was enchanting...thick, black wavy hair,grey-
green eyes...tall...muscular ~ oh, those muscles...all over his tanned body...head
to toe.
But she wondered about that limp as he walked away, depending on a heavy
metal
staff
for
balance...
after all, an eternity of beauty and power in exchange for
one
pathetic
soul.
The evening of the deed was a frigid six degrees, and there was a dead smell of
the sun. She stayed late after work, waiting anxiously until everyone had gone.
Finally, he was alone in his office, so she placed the pearl necklace around her
fragile neck and unbuttoned her red, silk blouse so to reveal her sexy red
camisole.
She entered the office, and gently leaned over him from behind; he was aroused
by the scent of her "Red Door" cologne...his favorite, and his senses were even
more heightened as he turned around and observed her erect breasts speaking
in a language only he understood. With his large hands, he slowly explored her
thighs, making his way up her black skirt.
"You have beautiful legs."
"You think so, huh?"
They kissed, and the necklace brushed his chest; he didn't feel well, at all. He
was hot...so hot, and his body began its metamorphosis, retaining a grayish
tinge....then blackish...
He
burst
into
flames;
then, disappeared along with all omens of the deed.
She walked over to the black wrought iron mirror and smiled; her wrinkles were
gone...vanished...just as promised; she was ten years younger.
The windows began sweating, and the handsome stranger appeared.
"I have one more assignment for you."
"But we made a deal, one soul."
She began to feel peculiar, and as she viewed herself in the black mirror, she
began aging...ten years...twenty...thirty...she pulled out a large clump of thin, white
hair.
The room darkened from his moonly mind.
"My dear, the other soul...is yours."
you took away
my right to scream
and now i sit an await
my impending doom
you followed me around today
play acting out your words so carefully
I wonder how it feels for you
to act so mentally insane
is this, ok with you?
do i blame it on your bewitching eye color
do i blame it on your dubious blood line
do i blame it on your funny rich man's dirty money
I really could not say
was i hurt by, your actions
HELL, Yes!
but i still remained the same
I did not say one word
or act out in pain
and silence give me no comfort
for you would just have
won at your only game!
no black woman
should have to bare
a lack of justice
this just does not seem fare
brainwash
verbal barrage
twisted lies become truth
transformation of thought patterns
control
Come my sweet to silken thread,
finest twines I spin for thee.
Come to soft eternal bed,
yield unto my beck’ning plea.
Finest twines I spin for thee,
comfort grant in final hour.
Yield unto my beck’ning plea,
hunger doth my soul devour.
Comfort grant in final hour,
clothe thee in my flossy shroud.
Hunger doth my soul devour,
quick I’ll be, if I’m allowed.
Clothe thee in my flossy shroud,
tremble not beloved prey.
Quick I’ll be, if I’m allowed,
Why, my lust, must thou delay?
Tremble not beloved prey,
now I take what’s fairly mine.
Why, my lust, must thou delay?
Quiet love, without repine.
Now I take what’s fairly mine,
this is my eternal bed.
Quiet love, without repine,
spin again my silken thread.

* I took some liberty with the form- in the last stanza I modified the 2nd and 4th lines from
the original ones in the first stanza- just gotta be me... *
Like quicksand under the ocean waves,
you can break and fall away,
this landslide so undisturbed,
for the life force of my brightly smile.
All of life is in the palm of your hands,
but you wouldn't have to see that,
to believe that.
So Farewell to the skies and the rolling of the waves,
like all things in life, the beauty of a sunset fades,
but not all things always return.
Pendulums have been used for divining -
for finding bombs, water and gold ore
But you just need a crystal on a string
to find some answers you are looking for!
There’s something that you really want to know -
like where’s the key you lost and cannot find
or where’s the best vacation spot to go?
The answer lies in your subconscious mind!
It may not be a question of where, but when.
Is it the proper time to start anew
or should you do the same old things again?
There are crystal pendulums to guide you.
Is there someone that you wish to wed?
For decisions of the heart, you will need
a crystal pendulum in pink or red.
Your mind has answers that you ought to heed!
Are crystals magic, or do they just guess?
How can they really know what’s right for you.
You must establish what means NO or YES.
There’s one thing that you first have got to do.
Reactions of your nerves the crystals gauge.
So while the crystal hangs from string or chain,
you’ll see it move. Your mind’s eye sets the stage.
From your fingers’ nerves, answers you will gain.
Ask questions to the pendulum for which
the no’s are definite, and be aware
how the crystal moves before you switch
to answers yes. Keep practicing with care.
The crystal only answers yes or no,
but once you have connected to the way
your pendulum reacts, you’re good to go!
Get answers for yourself on any day.
Black crystals work if danger you should face.
Creative answers amethyst can show.
Not just a pendulum of time and place -
for almost anything you need to know!!

[Limerick Sequence]
There's a sparkle of glee in his eyes
when he catches a glimpse of my size;
he scoots my way
to make his play,
but I throw him a look to demise.
My soft body lures him as a flame
and he hopes all demurrals will tame.
His move is quick,
his line is slick
in maneuvers to stake his claim.
His façade is quite handsome and bold
as he reaches with strong bands to hold.
He dare not miss
with his first kiss
as my lips draw a line tight and cold.
But in lust I succumb to his will;
his embrace zaps my nerve-ends a thrill.
He pulls me in
his feathered den,
sinks tentacles deep to drink his fill.
Honest people have a moral code,
Do the right thing, thought is sowed,
Help the poor, lighten of their load,
Leave nastiness to the current, Toad,
The Toad speaks like his master,
Bought and paid for-ever after,
Till the people clear the road…
Your Political persuasion is it wrong?
Are you just a worker, and still a nong,
Dumb as dumbo is your song,
Just look after the boss, comes laughter,
A boss’es crawler is beneath contempt,
Brainwash by the boss is dreamt,
He laughs at fools, who take the bait,
The super-rich don’t need you mate?
They keep “ low-class” exempt,
Class distinction is still strong,
Aussie miners, black balled, mortally wronged,
{no job for him hereafter}
Get workers cheap from overseas,
Special workers if you please,
The lies go ‘on and on’ :}

PERSUASION
By grace I was saved, through faith,
not of my self but by a precious gift.
This faith came from hearing,hearing
the word of God,Jesus,who manifested
Himself to me,through the work of
the Holy Spirit.I know whom I have
believed and am persuaded.When
He knocked at my door,I heard His
voice.I pushed open the door,He came in.
Evermore I remain in Christ,by grace,
through faith,a gift of God
Listen to me recite this phrasis(and much of my work )
on youtube under my pen name ichthyschiro

one political persuasion
is discerned easily
when those pragmatic lies
purr like a pharisee.
do ends justify means?
perks hide from public eyes.
after months behind screens,
one feels he’s just been put-upon.

This is a new and different form of haiku that I came up with. A rhyming haiku with two stanzas. The first has a syllable count of 4,3,3,3,3,3,3,4 and the second has a syllable count of 8,6,6,6,6,6,6,8. Each stanza must also have a rhyming pattern. ...Charlie
Its never too late to undo what you did
All it takes is a little persuasion
If you think shes your rib
You can get back that feeling that you use to love
So easily all it takes is a little persuasion
A open mind and heart so obediently
Am I too honest to use my persuasiveness
Dishonesty runs rampant nowadays everybody
And their mama can relate to this
No time to live life with regrets now
Only a prideful man thinks to a woman
Its a sin to bow down
But if she's worth it stop acting
Like she's worthless and love her like
Christ love the churches

A strategic application to the golden rule
Increasing power with apologies
Break the barriers that stand in the way of communication
Our society is on some broken ship out to sea
On some long awaited chartered vacation
Exploring the other persons viewpoint
We then parade ourselves as some vested nomadic tribesmen
Never thanking the good Lord above that we are all still very much alive
Personal power is permanent
Five barriers to human communication
We all live in unique and private shaded worlds of personal experience
Nearly everyone is insecure to some extent
Everyone has difficulty handling strong feelings and maintaining a dynamic balance
Feelings are facts to the person experiencing them
We almost always perecieve some kind of imbalance
Something we don't want to face is the fear of hearing
Through trials & efforts we can all stake it's inner claim
Get up and continue to stay alive in the game
Trying new things and accomplishments twain
Ethical persuasion should all be one's chief aim
Try to be kind to one another amidst an ever increasing anger
An innate darkened societal influx that seems as of late to be going in the sewer
A startegic application in values will help aid the seeker
Ethical persuasion
Always the weapon
and never the truth
the woeful prediction
of life's terrorism
shall always end in death
Ah such a bastion
for the ammunition of fear
to afford the devils consumption
of every soul living here
in tortuous redemption
those switchblade centuries have controlled
All for heaven
in martyrs agony
the suffering of the down trodden
ignorant muck of humanity
to raise up a priesthood
overladen with gold
paid for by poverty
the bread crumbs of their sins spirituality
Never the living truth
but vague placation of allegedly indisputable proof
some conglomeration of doctrine and dogma
to elevate the few
who demand to be the chosen of their God
And in the bitterness of Eden
turn every woman
into a serpents willing whore
so with authority to breed misogyny
the divine vessel
to patriarchal bigotry
condemned for ever more
surreptitiously defame equality
separate humanity
by an obsessively sinful sexual institution
of hate
Always the weapon
and always the test of faith
never the living
and never the love
shall exult this precious gift
the woeful prediction
of life’s holy terrorism
will always end in death
and by torture and trigger
by nails and thorns
bring the masses to kneel at their sanctimonious feet
Palm trees in silhouette, deep purple sunset
tickle the moon of an indigo sky
Whispers of love seem to float on a pillow
made by the clouds as they’re waving goodbye
Birds of the night in their island persuasion
hint of a tune that we knew long ago
Sand dunes that temper the mist of the ocean
cradle our evening as I love you so
When you and I are alone with the stars
time can stand still, may this night never end
Something keeps calling, I don’t want to answer
rather, I’ll stay and let sleep by my friend
Yawning, I wake to the promise of coffee
only a dream was my island with you
Then as you lean in to kiss me good morning
I know that all of my dreams have come true
