Unholy Persuasion
Always the weapon
and never the truth
the woeful prediction
of life's terrorism
shall always end in death
Ah such a bastion
for the ammunition of fear
to afford the devils consumption
of every soul living here
in tortuous redemption
those switchblade centuries have controlled
All for heaven
in martyrs agony
the suffering of the down trodden
ignorant muck of humanity
to raise up a priesthood
overladen with gold
paid for by poverty
the bread crumbs of their sins spirituality
Never the living truth
but vague placation of allegedly indisputable proof
some conglomeration of doctrine and dogma
to elevate the few
who demand to be the chosen of their God
And in the bitterness of Eden
turn every woman
into a serpents willing whore
so with authority to breed misogyny
the divine vessel
to patriarchal bigotry
condemned for ever more
surreptitiously defame equality
separate humanity
by an obsessively sinful sexual institution
of hate
Always the weapon
and always the test of faith
never the living
and never the love
shall exult this precious gift
the woeful prediction
of life’s holy terrorism
will always end in death
and by torture and trigger
by nails and thorns
bring the masses to kneel at their sanctimonious feet
