[A Pleiades consists of 7 lines, each having 6 syllables.
The title consists of ONE word only (and that word will NOT
be used again in the poem itself). The first word in each line
begins with the same letter as the title.]

Obsessed by jealousy
Overwhelmed to the point
Of no return, I reach
Out to you for comfort
Ousting repulsive thoughts
Opting to replenish
Our parched and arid love.

Perfect Winter Night

This is a perfect winter night to tandem thyself with my sizzling nerves
Candle light stuns thy hips moving in wine-red skirt, penning killer curves
O’ watch our bed rose’s flame in moonlight, instating a scene of heaven
Bewitch all my hormones with your fervent lips, sipping glimpses of Champaign

Not the dressing but only the undressing would unveil the unanimous pleasure
Writing a simile is impossible to explicate the true sense of rubbing thou bare
Gripping my hands to thy hips, pinning thy legs, should it get thee so helpless?
Slow like a tide while I move in thee, thou woo me with thy yearning murmurs

Wine in your eyes sets the blaze in my rise, what else on earth is wise than this libido
Dun no why, while I race my insane moves unto thy pulses, thou ever gave a “Go”!
Cruising my fingers down across thy necklace, should it get thee so restless?
Like a roll of wheels, I keep banging with no pauses hoping something clueless

Is this a mission of flooding bliss unto the myriad nerves, in an act of gleeful fission?
I fall on thou with a feel of ousting a “Niagara”; thou hugged me with none between
O’ what a wonder, I am alive though, after halting my heart & glancing the heaven
Beheld I am mesmerized between your pleasing eyes sinking in the ocean of ******

Premium Member End of the Bowden Reign

From Deion Sanders to Warrick Dunn
Bobby Bowden coached some of the best
Highly regarded by team and staff
The FSU coach withstood each test

With two national championships
And two great Heisman Trophy winners
Tallahassee fans basked in glory
Until the talent ranks grew thinner

Suddenly loyalty’s cast aside
Despite thirty-three FSU years
Just a few losses were all it took
To turn his fickle fans’ cheers to jeers

How sad Bobby’s been asked to step down
Glory fades fast; don’t rest on laurels
Fans want a young gun to take the lead
But he’ll never match Bobby’s morals

The coach who refused to cuss or quit
Gave Marshall his playbook when their team died
Best known for just saying, “Dad Gummit”
Bobby gave us all a sense of pride

He’s being forced out, no loyalty
Decades of worship stop on a dime
But he won’t be replaced easily
They say it’s lights out for Bowden’s time

The second most winning One-A coach
One of just four in the Hall of Fame
Bows out humbly in two thousand nine
Tossed like pig skin to the Hall of Shame

But I’ll never forget Bowden’s name
The players will miss his leadership
Bobby deserves respectful tribute
Not mean quips shot from turn-coat fans’ hips

Friends, Coach Bowden has been my idol for years. He instilled spiritual values in his
players while coaching them to season after season wins. If this poem sounds "emotional,"
it's because his ousting makes me disgusted.

President Elect Alexandria Ocasio Cortez 2024

President Elect Alexandria Ocasio Cortez - 2024

Circa...Approximately one month
following her thirty fifth birthday
October 13th, 2024
AOC became the first
female commander in chief,
and youngest person ever

to assume Oval Office
amidst landslide victory
among competing candidates
ousting current establishment incumbent,
elected to serve United States
despite being neophyte,

she received most
votes of any contender
since founding of Democracy
to assume modestly furnished
Capitol Hill - Washington
District of Columbia

most powerful post
within the United States
immediately electrifying North America
with her megawatt smile
crackling, snapping, and popping
with positivity, integrity, energy...

Deafening applause swept across nation
upon ascending dais prior to uttering one word,
she immediately wowed
darling of the hour received standing ovation
across greensward donned bajillion crowd
cheering, imploring, pumping...

green sleeved fists acclamation
action speaking decibels
louder than words bowed
young lady brought to genuine tears,
asper bona fide accreditation
understandable that newly

minted ma'am felt proud
to stride rite, (an air of modest
confidence) did enshroud,
sans an angelic halo augmenting
as optimistic words heard aloud

heralded sincere charming, intimating,
radiating... no frills accustomation
as if pledging troth to every citizen
(inclusive every flora and fauna) vowed
to steer ship of state toward ecologically,
environmentally, essentially...activation

away from fossil fuels shifting energy
consumption vis a vis alternate modalities
sow rejuvenation plowed
back into Earth prioritizing monied allocation
(dollar amount well worth investment) actualization,
where future generations will be grateful

to dead recent forebears for gift endowed
worth more than fine spun gold regarding
preservation of Gaia, how *****sapiens adaptation
made existence for all living creatures
(animals, plants, even this fungi) healthier allowed
populace to breathe easy and rest assured

quality of life for billions (ushering universal
family planning), despite tense adjudication,
especially when linkedin with

but eventually kickstarted synergistic administration.

This Is the Sea-Daunting and Promising

Shimmering sea, glimmering waves
Glistening waters, mirroring moon-glow

Beyond the beaches, coral lagoons
Mellow boroughs, dotting the shore

Rising sun, peaking through the sky
Day has arrived, ousting dark night

Merchant adventurers, sail forth to venture
The deep blue hue, revealed to the crew

Vast is its reach, and cool the salty breeze
Violent are its storms, and mighty its depths

Haunted by sirens, whose tunes take wing
Amid broken dreams, and forlorn hope

Morbid castaways, adrift or ashore
Gaze upon the horizon, dazed and confused

Perhaps they seek, an island of nymphs,
Just like Odysseus, or so they think

This is the sea, daunting and promising
Poseidon’s wonders, for all to see!

Besetting the Tempest

Besetting the tempest

Confronting the bad wind which blows
Browbeating in its way everything that grows
Respires tolerance, peace, security long taken for granted
Ousting seeds of faith painstakingly implanted

Mislay untoward weeds of abhorrence, bribery and corruption
Infest human souls and quarry deception
Over the world prevail and hostility nourish
Ooze into demure minds and values ditch

One contrivance and perhaps the only purchasable
If you delve to flourish a life as feasible
Benefit wisely,exploit that wind anew
Refrain from evil and consciousness issue

Shrug off prejudice and your way elbow
The wind possesses several strings to his bow.

2017 President

Inauguration day just 3 weeks away,
hope Trump will be good president I pray,
draining the swamp,
after the pomp,
hopefully in his first 100 days,

News lately somewhat troubling,
Obama ousting the Russians,
new cold war,
Barack out the door,
Trump having to deal with repercussions,

Hope Trump keeps his word at all costs,
don't know how long US can last on life support,
will there be change,
will it be the same,
of meet the new boss, same as the old boss,

JFK was one of the best we had yet,
though his mentors thought they knew what was best,
Constitution prez,
meant what he said,
ignoring oligarchy caused his death,

Our Constitution needs to stay intact,
every year its more under attack,
liberties gone,
don't get me wrong,
we could become Amerika thats a fact.

In them whom voted yes to this complete farce
they had done so on their on moral grounds
by not representing those that put them in power
violation of humane governing
It's total defiance against democratic thinking
there should be a general election ousting these jesters
As I have no confidence in a government non democratically elected

Solitude

Inclined on the divan with a book, in my room, I was all alone,
Wrapped in a quilt tucked around my feet, the wind’s moan….
In the cold gusty afternoon sun – casting its timid rays.
The howling squall…blowing outside my window in a daze ,
My skin tingling……as sharp molecule of air brushed against my face …..

And last night it was raining too, in solitude!
With no one around in sight that I could allude………
No one to talk to as I twisted in my loneliness,
Thoughts as waves spun in my mind’s ocean;
There’s a late night straggler on a tipsy motion,
Is he too feeling the same solitude alone in his stroll....
The desire for solitude casting a shadow on my soul!

Our dreams had looked momentarily so bright,
Hopes of a future held so much more in anticipation.
Time we spent were mere memories, lost in isolation,
Insecurities felt to the very core as time eats away the bliss
And between now and then searching for profound solitude amiss~

A glass of red Merlot wine ousting the gloom to the furthest alife…….
Relishing a melody of a single sigh sings me back to life,
Last night I cried out mutely beset by fears of sweet pain
In the silent night where no sound shows face, I choose to listen;
For the sake of untying this ribbon of fear, for hearing a sound,
Besides silence my conscience urges me from roaming around;
In solitude, I woke up in the morning to a collage of memories,
Reading a book out loud - my voice shaking, collecting bits and pieces~
As the heroine longed for togetherness - in an isolated crowd-
To be loved in a relaxing rhythm - in solitude…!!

Premium Member The Ousting of Adam and Eve

Life was a blast in the Garden of Eden for Adam and Eve,

'Til the wrath of their Creator invited them to leave!

They were having a ball traipsing about in their birthday suit,

'Til that sneaky snake offered them a chomp of forbidden fruit!

One December Night (The End)

One December Night
     (Continuation to the End)

All that year Santa had hoped and had tried to find a child's love that would strongly abide.
But month after month he was given the boot. It didn't matter whether he showed magic or
gave them some loot. Many children were selfish. Not one gave a hoot.
Until one cold blizzard night, in a stormy plight, the frog rang the doorbell and walked
right on in. In the warmth of the house, after ousting the mouse, four children accepted the
frog for his good. It was a happy sight for the frog there that night. Yes, they showed him
great kindness and genuine love, the
spirit of Christmas shown down from above. The purest of love without expectations turned
the frog into Santa who promptly gave each one hugs. “I'll be back with my sleigh to leave
gifts on Christmas night. Thank you dear children for your gifts of love tonight. Leave me
some cookies. I shall eat no more bugs! He laughed as he juggled three gifts in the air.
Then, soon disappeared out of sight by the moonlight.
The children, still laughing and squealing with joy, had broken a spell put on Santa
last spring. And the mean old witch that had made him a frog, sat sadly outside all alone on
the log. She had made him a frog with a croak, out of tune. She wanted his voice instead of
her own. Christmas carols she had heard bring so much joy. She could not carry a tune for
one single song. She had hoped she could sing if she stole Santa's voice. But the love from
the children left her no choice. The spell had been broken by love's sweetest choice.
But while they were happily playing about, they noticed the wand from the brown bag lay
out. So they went to the witch and gave her a voice. And taught her that goodness over bad
is a choice. So together they played with the now happy witch. Who gave up her evil and to
goodness did switch. The gift of pure love and light in the world is a gift to all who give
heaven a whirl. For even the wickedest of wicked have some goodness in them. So,
encourage the right and to evil say, “Take a flight!” (And let God be the judge…)

Premium Member God Part Two

There is always a right and wrong
choice for everything.
God has only one strict rule.
No interference.
God put Satan into our lives,
by ousting him from heaven.

I have heard it said that God lets children die.
Not so! God never “let” anyone die, or suffer, or any “thing”.
That is the work of Satan and the effects of our own
decisions or circumstances.
God simply does not interfere.
Except on rare occasions.
We call them “miracles”.

God gave us free will and has
to leave us to our own decisions
for it to work.
With free will there has to be
bad and good.

Where there is evil there is sorrow.
Where there is sorrow there is grace.
Where there is grace there is forgiveness.
Where there is forgiveness there is joy.
Where there is joy there is plenty.
Where there is plenty there is sloth.
Where there is sloth there is evil.

There is no beginning and no end.
We all go through the cycles of life.
God made it so.
The Devil works against it.
In the end God will win,
because He is Lord over the Devil.

All children die in the arms of God.
They are not held accountable,
Don’t be fooled by trickery.
Don’t give up eternity on a gamble.
God does exist.

I once dropped a tiny screw out
of my eyeglasses.
It was in three inch grass in my yard.
Without hesitating, I asked God’s
help in finding and
when I moved the first blades of
grass there it was.

This sort of thing happens to me
all the time.
I keep him with me
every moment.
Usually consciously, sometimes not.
But always there.

A Trite Nihilistic Occasion - Part Two

Synchronization of Time Events

Well preserved footprints in time
The lake site where man unraveled
Spells empirical claims and publishing

Ousting the religious archaic outlook on self
That old tincture in the genetic mind
Woven through fabulous tales and ceremony

Still, creatures of the deep emerge suddenly
As lightning alters the hidden atmosphere
Earth beings are processed through arranged change

History's synchronization dawns for the uplifted
Sinking through the collective raw and mystique
Amphibious brains track the new logic

Alchemy of old returns with vengeance
To catapult through sardonic mist and fate
