Best Ordinances Poems
You promised to take care of me like a new cherished bride
I cling to it, waiting until at the point of suicide
now your expectations and my anger collide
because your blessings seem to always find a place to hide
I try to be my own guide
then you caution me and call it pride
very little, you want me to decide
and you say I’ll be okay by just being on your side
I’m tired and have kept all these talk aside
following my own path and taking my ride
my self belief has beaten faith landslide
everything about you in me must suffer a genocide
your rules and ordinances, no more will I abide
if serving you comes with trials then I wish my loyalty had long died
and the dividends of my worship to you, just divide
Lord God!
Now I know twas an uneasy stride
now I understand, your blessings and my discipline must coincide
now I’ve seen that your love is so high and wide
and hating you is like becoming the voluntary victim of a homicide
I said you do not care, please Lord, I lied
Your ways are mysterious indeed
You searched my heart and all you saw was greed
because only my desires and blindness I feed
and you knew among the wheat, I’ll be a weed.
Despite I, not taking heed
You were still patient and ever ready to lead
You never gave me what I wanted nor stick to my timing
but at the appointed time, lavished me with all I need
while watering my entire efforts’ seed.
Thank you heavenly father! Leaving your presence, I now forbid
and serving you wholeheartedly is henceforth my utmost deed.

With sadness, that never ceased,
I watched your Father shot on live television.
I was living in Chicago and Elena, a baby
in my arms asleep.
Your Father, Robert had just won California
and “on to Chicago” was his mission.
Sirhan-Sirhan., anti-Isreal, pro-Palestinian ,
shot your father in the hotel’s kitchen, near dead.
I sat in Chicago, in tearful disbelief, and all I could
feel was profoundest grief!
Screaming crowds wept as deep crimson-
warm, blood seeped from your father’s head.
And here you are now with your lovely wife and
actress, Cheryl Hines, about to follow in your
Father’s footsteps!
Your voice may sound strange as you are
affected by spasmodic dysphonia.
I am just an extraordinary American because I
do not think one party is a religion whose
Ordinances must be obeyed and kept.

??Wisdom of Solomon 13:11 KJVAAE??
[11] Now a carpenter that felleth timber, after he hath sawn down a tree meet for the purpose, and taken off all the bark skilfully round about, and hath wrought it handsomely, and made a vessel thereof fit for the service of man's life;
??Ecclesiasticus 38:27 KJVAAE??
[27] So every carpenter and workmaster, that laboreth night and day: and they that cut and grave seals, and are diligent to make great variety, and give themselves to counterfeit imagery, and watch to finish a work:
??Isaiah 41:7 KJVAAE??
[7] So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the soldering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.
??Isaiah 44:13 KJVAAE??
[13] The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.
??Matthew 13:55 KJVAAE??
[55] Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
??Colossians 2:14-15 KJVAAE??
[14] blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; [15] and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
—The Weight of Cannot—
I came to stay the falling, yet the hour
went on beneath the ordinances of fate;
my hands, made eloquent by love, had power
only to learn how powerless to wait.
I stood beside the vanishing, and knew
that presence hath no hands with which to stay;
I called the name; its warmth remained, yet through
that warmth, the beloved had already passed away.
My love reached shore; the beloved was sea,
and every strength I summoned sank from sight;
I asked Time for one mercy; memory
returned, and made remembrance ache with light.
The thing I could not change changed what I knew
of love: my hands grew still—and still reached you.
Christmas bells aren’t ringing all through our little town,
The zoning ordinances prohibit such a noisy sound.
There are no carolers singing their songs of Christmas cheer,
People are afraid to open their doors to strangers who draw near.
Now Santa needs written permission to enter any locked domicile,
With the arrests resulting from last year his Reindeer are still on trail.
Don’t expect too much in your stocking at least nothing you might like,
Labor negotiations have broken down and the elves have gone on strike.
I hung a wreath on my front door and my neighbor gave me a laugh,
The lights that he displays on his own house could land a small aircraft.
There’s something in that eggnog that has made me lose my head,
I nearly said Merry Christmas rather than Happy Holidays instead.
Oh, I long for an old fashioned Christmas where everyone was bright,
But until the world is sane again I’ll keep a silent night.
And what of that little baby that started this whole thing,
The more I think about him, the more I want to sing.
So let’s all join together and prepare for what may come next,
Let’s all share love, joy, peace and hope by sending out a text.
REGULATIONS
BY
JOHN M. ARRIBAS
Two sources of laws that govern the lives of men
One’s called survival the other a stroke of the pen
Those from survival are easy to list
Food, water and shelter so we can exist
Those from mans hand are often not clear
A crime over there is legal over here
Man’s laws may be admirable at their writing
Later found questionable at their citing
Laws, ordinances , regulations or policy norm
With so many restrictions not easy to conform
Don’t forget rules they’re important as well
Am I acting legally or awaiting a cell
Take the sinister case of the berlin wall
Many tried to cross it only to fall
It had been prohibited to go to the west
Any attempt to flee would result in arrest
One night a defector was fatally shot
Hung over barbed wire destined to rot
Then guess what happened the very next day
Passed a law if you want to go west “ its ok”
An example of a law that caused men to die
An illegal extortion forcing free men to defy
There are needs for law and order to protect
Each new law tightens the noose on a citizens neck
The penalty for breaking a law way back when
Put the guilty in leg blocks or a public pen
Shame him in front of neighbors and friends
Humiliation may cause his lawlessness to end
The initial mandate of imposing a fine
Worked quite well for a very long time
Regulations(2)
It became so lucrative new laws were soon due
Pile on new charges, generate more revenue
A man runs a red light cops are hot on his tail
There’s so many charges he may not make bail
Want to change the house color from tan to gray
Need to get permission from a hundred miles away
Redo these doors on the inside of my flat
Got to submit plans and a copy of the plat
It just gets tougher each request causes a fuss
Easier for the government to keep a rein on us
To control the masses is an easy feat
They just add more laws just never delete
It’s easy to have contempt for so many laws
The enforcement of them is loaded with flaws
A girl with drugs gets years of incarceration
Drunken teenager kills four receives probation
Additional laws will make us quiet as a mouse
You’ll soon need a permit to leave the house
Let's change India the way we need,
Let's make a Great India so that others praise our deeds;
Stop discrimination between the ruling and opponent one,
Time for us to have a new India born;
Our forefathers may not be happy with us,
Is it the same India they dreamed in their years?
Who say the Constitution follow equality,
Opportunity to source one,corrupt one who can sell their nationality;
Riches are more respected than who are honest,
The nature of numbness to injustice where resides the best;
Where corporate-politician nexus aim to make people poor,
Where religion is used as medium of income by money-makers;
A nation which was the country of trade,agriculture,traditions and culture,
A nation which is the country of poverty,corruption and nonsense vultures;
Is this the scenario viewed by Bhagat Singh,Bose,Azad and Patel?
Where judiciary and ordinances every now and then fails;
Is this the country shaped by Ashok and Akbar the Great?
Where mediocre s and appointed delegates compels the citizens to have their
works wait;
Complains are made by weaker,
Let we the complaint-makers rise up and work forever;
Work forever to make India economically stable,
Work forever to rise up India from poverty liner;
Educate India to bring new talents from everywhere,
Inspire India to innovate ventures for one-on-one fight with international level;
Make a secular India as religion never teaches bad things to us,
Religion's guidance make people not to be barbarous;
Stop the tears of ancestors who worked hard to make a good India,
Carry on their qualities and pass it with more good qualities to next India;
Celebrate Diwali to wish for presence of Goddess Laxmi in the family,
Wishing money and getting it illegally will be life of unsatisfactory and guilty;
Celebrate Dussehra wishing to have good nature,
Wishing a life of richness will bring a future filled with nothing but failure;
Start from today as it's now or never,
Imaging a Glorified India whose stories will be told forever.
Obsession
Obsession with "O's"
Oh, obsession’s obfuscating oligarchy
Oceans of oblivion
Outrage in ostentatious obsession
Overrun in hurricanes named obdurate and obstinate
Overtures of oxidized compulsive orchestration in
Obbligatos overflowing obituaries -
Overbearing octaves of the obsequious –
Orations of overt objections
Objectivity overpopulated by opportunistic obtuse –
Obsession outweighing optimist’s objectives –
Openness offspring overrun by
Ominous hunters of sweet oblations ordained
Oscillating between logic and obsession unchallenged
Orthodoxy obscures opportunity
Officially ostracizes open-mindedness –
Original the outsider - occupied the outlier -
Observes only obstructive operations
Obedience to the one-track offertory
Of overstocked outdated ordinances,
Offshoots of outmoded operatic ornaments
Odious opium overdose of the obscene
Onyx odors overpowering odes
Offered on the altar of originality -
Obliterating oligarchy of obsession

***Watch out in your small towns!! There are new ordinances forbidding baggy pants
or skirts below the natural waist---HELLO PEOPLE!! Where will the madness end??
What next --fine mothers for breast feeding in public?? The working dad with a little

Thanks to my hubby and son for a little poetic humor advice!
The story became too heavy
I did went on to empty it
But I was timid
That the outcome could be negative
Which could undermine my dignity
A few days down the line
I did shake heaven and earth
And thought it was fine
But I invoked your wrath!
And heard you wanted to slap me!
Principled Ladies, right?
But it was my desire
To work day and night
To lift those principles higher!
Self denying ordinances
Mom loved daughter and needed no silliness
Lest the wedding feast be omitted?
Okay! I get it !
And then, where is this coming from?
Wait… I hear a whisper about classes
Do I belong to the third estate
And you? First estate?
Oh Lord! But Muhammad married Khadija.
So if I earned a billion dollars a week
And you earned half a billion
Was it gonna be okay?
But such that its vice versa
I look stupid, right?
Is it about the Ferraris, Cadillacs and Jaguars?
Of love & intimacy dashed away
Cancel the obsession, the infatuation, the crush, the love.
Cancel the combination of these
And usher generality?
Too blind to see?
Too bleak to understand?
Cast your glance at my heart
Hope you see the real me
But you won’t understand anything!
Lord….
So I gotta shut me trap?Huh?
Lest you snap(mbama)?
Then I feel stupid.
I’m hurt, hurt, hurt!
Hurt, hurt!
Hurt!

The ostrich feather of justice
weighing values from the heart
processed from ethical and moral principles
upholding a measure to see right from wrong
conflicting roles of chaos needs to be addressed
there is a disturbance against the cosmic harmony
where blasphemy brings blindness to individual's
achieving nothing through lies and violence
echoed from tombs declarations
ape made laws that attack the very weakest human right
: "I have given bread to the hungry and clothed the naked" and
"I was a husband to the widow and father to the orphan
does this ring with any bells of clarity where has charity gone
A passage in the Instruction of Ptahhotep presents Ma'at as follows:
represents for me in person law of the universe
Ma'at is good and its worth is lasting.
It has not been disturbed since the day of its creator,
whereas he who transgresses its ordinances is punished.
It lies as a path in front even of him who knows nothing.
Wrongdoing has never yet brought its venture to port.
It is true that evil may gain wealth but the strength of truth is that it lasts;
a man can say: "It was the property of my father.

February 5 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Leviticus 16-18
Key Verse– Leviticus 17:5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD…
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY OFFERINGS’ BLESSER
Lord God, You are the Blesser of my offerings
While You accept me before Your mercy seat
Thank You for forgiving my sins that cause my spiritual defeat
As I repent from vain pursuits of futile treat…
Help me present my life before You, and receive Your divine revival heat.
Lord God, You are the Blesser of my offerings
While You smell my prayer’s sweet incense
Thank You for reproving my bad testimony that disregards Your presence
As I repent from remaining in evil influence-essence…
Help me saturate my soul in Your holiness-effervescence.
Lord God, You are the Blesser of my offerings
While You cleanse me fully
Thank You for dealing with my confessed iniquities I admit honestly
As I repent from wandering in the wilderness of selfishness vainly…
Help me put on my service-garments of Your righteousness daily.
Lord God, You are the Blesser of my offerings
While You speak unto me Your commandment
Thank You for sanctifying my heart from worldly defilement
As I repent from sojourning in discontentment…
Help me bring my desires into Your favour toward my fulfillment.
Lord God, You are the Blesser of my offerings
While You approve me by Your compassion-filled sacrifice
Thank You for checking my thoughts of imagination’s device
As I repent from not meditating Your truth of great price…
Help me submit my mind to Your guiding advice.
Lord God, You are the Blesser of my offerings
While You instruct me to walk in Your ordinances
Thank You for rebuking my proud performances
As I repent from compromising with humanistic glances…
Help me value my inheritance that Your wisdom enhances.
Lord God, You are the Blesser of my offerings
While You guard me against confusion
Thank You for leading me to Your will for my sincere devotion
As I repent from committing displeasing action and reaction…
Help me keep my faith to do my part in Your great commission.

Cameras snap on the last action tourists trap
As shutters flash, bullets fly by respectfully
Go past Sunday services at high velocity
Stain glass windows stay intact
Some one falls from the high church tower
Assisted by gravity, a force of nature at work
A push out a window from a stranger works as well
Even better, since it brings a man to his senses
In a splat, a stain on the pavement
Obsequious to that end to make a mark
On the square, over a glass of cold fresh brew
A hit man, this time, does not miss his mark
The story, like the beer, is delicious this time of year
Robbery is also good to attract new business
Loaded guns must bow to authority
To conduct commerce on the streets
Ammo leaves chambers only by permission
Empty, safe and sound as ordinances intend
Approved by law enforcement
There is no end to city limits
Tourists are the center of attraction
Our aim is to aim at them
Credit the Chamber of Commerce
They do business the old fashioned way
At the end of the barrel of a gun
Emptied chambers make more profits
Bullets don't pay taxes
