just going to church every week ~ does not make you a better Christian

be grateful for everything that you have ~ because many have nothing

love and respect are not something that you can buy ~you have to earn them

our world leaders and politicians ~ do not bear the scars of battle

your clock of life is ticking and does not stop ~ do not waste a second

surely it is not the end of the world ~ if your team loses a game

always accept a gift ~ don't hurt someone's feelings by refusing it

the reward for kindness is the joy you bring ~ to someone else's heart

it is inevitable that you will grow old but think young ~ stay young

the only true winners in wartime ~are the arms manufacturers

Premium Member No More Goodbyes

The Carpenters in their time were defining,
Offered their fans so much more than more,
Uncanny that the words of this song keep returning,
For the brave Ukrainians, a heartfelt encore.

Why does the sun go on shining,
Why does the sea rush to shore?
Don't they know it's the end of the world
'Cause you don't love me anymore?

Why do people keep on sighing, God is all knowing
He is with, and loves each victim on either side,
Because of this war families are dying, HE is hurting,
That one man with ego changed a country’s tide

Why do the birds go on singing?
Why do the stars glow above?
Don't they know it's the end of the world?
It ended when I lost your love

First thing in the morning and every night
For their peace I am constantly praying,
How cruel to say goodbye to the who must fight,
Husbands, fathers, children or brothers, crying.

I wake up in the morning and I wonder
Why everything is the same as it was
I can't understand, no, I can't understand
How life goes on the way it does

So many widows, soldiers dying every day,
So many orphans from this uncalled slaughter,
Innocents whose lives have suddenly gone array,
I saw a man on the news, cradling his infant daughter.

Why does my heart go on beating?
Why do these eyes of mine cry?
Don't they know it's the end of the world?
It ended when you said goodbye

Don't they know it's the end of the world?
It ended when you said goodbye

The Ukrainians must win, no more goodbyes
Not the end of the world, but a new beginning,
For without a shadow of doubt the good guys,
Must live to record history, their pride rimming.

PS Inspired by the song sung by the Carpenters (IN ITALICS) THE END OF THE WORLD

Distance Lends Enchantment

“Distance lends enchantment...”

They say distance lends enchantment and true love
weathers all seasons; but, sometimes I wonder
whether the distance becomes obscured by changing
winds and billowing clouds.
And what is distance anyway? True, it’s the
long way home, the love on the end of a phone,
a plane ride to passion; but, sometimes, it’s the
pastures new, greener grass, tall growing poppies
that builds the dusty miles between us.
Sometimes, too, the saddest estrangement is more
the realisation that roads fork and curve apart
or that this road does not lead to a rainbow’s end.
But it’s not the end of the world: to have stood
close by as summer and winter heat and cool
affection and desire, is the very stuff of life.
If there are storms in your soul, if your emotions
undulate like a switchback (or the road through
the hills); then count your blessings, for you can
be a long time dead when you’re living.

Let it go

When you've tried everything you could,
And you can't hold on any longer
When you've pushed yourself too hard,
And now you can't breathe
Just let go

It's not easy and it doesn't get any simpler,
Sometimes you want to stay and endure
But there are days you'll feel all your energy being consumed
You'll feel torn and discouraged,
So just let go

It's not the end of the world,
Life must move on
Take a simple step and just live like never before
Because sometimes it's not worth staying
It's better to let go

I promise it will hurt,
The tears will surely burn
Until your eyes run dry
But at the end of the day you'll be fine
Cause it was easier to let go

Just let it go,
It takes days to heal
But a lifetime of regrets having made the wrong decision
If its a question about your happiness
Then just let it go.

What Have You Done Anna

There's cut all over her arms and thighs
With razor as a tool, she conducted a crime
An intentional kill of a self incapable
A suspect and a victim of a crime that made possible

'twas a clear picture before my eyes
Make myself believed; maybe a humorous display
As I browsed all her feedback; inferred other statements
Picture's authentic; I am not imagining

First time it happened on my Facebook history
Mind and heart collided on an image so shaky
A friend so dear to me and treated me,"Brother"
Have lost all her senses, for a love that started to hate her

I acted rapidly and sent her a message
While tears wrapping on my face
She told me of a love that's broken
Will end-up a life if He's not beside Her

Things didn't work out
Promises didn't shape-up
Two-hearts fractured as complications rise
The one's still hoping while the other's ready
Is this a mere option of not meeting a desire
Of depression and imbalance of emotion that's inside?

Anna! Anna!
What have you done?
I praise God for His presence
He saved you from the fire
If love is pure and just
You have a peaceful mind
And you will love yourself
As you love him the best

If love is a lie
No one can deny
It will always manifest by taking things for granted
Like what you've done; imprisoned by deception
Dark clouds have covered you with fear and wrong decision

Please Anna, promise me now!
No more blades around!
You're impulsive so please turn around
Say some prayers and ask God's favor
Good thing you're a "Suicide Survivor".

  # Based on a true story
Last night, I was really shocked seeing the picture of Anna(on Facebook) with bruises all over.
Thought it was a joke but I'm saddened finding out that its real. Its her!
She's a friend so close in my heart since school days.
She attempted to end her life last night just because of a broken relationship!
This is really not the end of the world!
She's okay now! God is good!

Premium Member Coming To Terms

Some months ago, a friend said to me, "We have come to terms with it". Coming to terms with it. That's it! Therein lies a treasured key to life. Complaining, petitioning, protesting, and reasoning do not always work. Sometimes, you can't find a navigating system anywhere for certain problems. It is often proper and appropriate to 'bow out' even if you happen to be right.

When we were kids and 'played marbles', if we did not like what was going on, we could take our marbles and go home. We are not kids anymore and we are in this game together. Being on the same team also means to stay in the game. Not all things work to our satisfaction, and some things absolutely will not change.

Whether the cross-winds are people or things, you are no match for them. So my friend was saying, "Sure, I don't like some things that are going on here, but they might be worse somewhere else. That is why I'm staying right here".

I read about an activist who was asked for advice in making changes in society. The activist gave his advice in three words, "Agitate, Agitate, Agitate". Because that approach worked for the activist in his day doesn't mean it works for all time.

I think my friend said it best. She was saying, "It's not the end of the world. So don't let it get the best of you, and don't let it bring out the worst in you. Sometimes, you just have to 'let it be' and come to terms with it".

A Game of Darts

A Game Of Darts

Cigar smoke and darts swirl in the green dim glow
Red centered dot moving on the bar wall
Whiskey surreal fog hovers
Covers mistakes and age
Curse the target board and makers!
Old man curls the mustache for luck
Misses the mark while polishing off a draft
Gasps, head swimming, he tries again
In the cruel dungeon drinking hole
Saloon is guilty as usual for this misery
He walks home disgruntled
Kept straight by a crooked stick
Guided by anger
A whiskered figure grumbles; it’s only a game
Another lost soul and saloon loser
Five dollars is not the end of the world you know

Grades Don'T Count

Grades merely quantify your hard work
Don't let them clarify your future
Scoring low grades don't count
It's not the end of the world.

Education is an enlightening experience
Dream what are you be and good at
Collaboration is vital for success
Study for knowledge but, not for grades

I'm not saying; you shouldn't score good grades
But, those grades aren't the only thing in life
Learn how to handle the failure
To be the only one in inspiring others

Right to be yourself and be righteous
Breakthrough limitations and keep learning
Imagine your outcome and Follow your heart
Work for integrity and succeed in integrity.

Motivation

I awake one morning
And couldn’t find my poets pen
All I had was a plain peace of paper
So I tell my self I will not write again

My mind were full of ideas
But how can I express them
And when I sad I will stop writing
friends think I had some kind of problem

I needed to find my way back
 But I had no inspirations
I keep having too many setbacks
I seem to run out of motivations

At times we will lose our motivation
We are just humans after all
But doesn’t because mean we stumble a lot
We must take for granted we will always fall

There, s a lot pressures on us all
A student who’s worried for a test result
Or a father who’s son was bullied so bad
And will for ever think it was his fault

Every one cant be a doctor or lawyer
who will make the eggs and sausage
Now all can be all a pilot or Wall Street executive
Because who will pick up our garbage

Every one of us starts with a dream
We all sets out with a life quest
And we have this fire burning in out hearts
And we won’t stop till we are the best

But we are just flesh and blood
We might stumble, fall and lost our way
But No one in the world is perfect
So let’s get up and try another day

Forget the mistakes of the past
 For greater achievements awaits you.
Look at the sunny side of everything
And make your optimism comes true

For After the sun goes down,
The moon and stars comes out
We must never lose our hopes
And in our hearts we will keep no doubts

I have the best friend in the world
And she is my sauce of inspiration
Just knowing she’s part of my life
Has given me so much motivation

So I start to write poems again
 Using an old broken pen
And just like my love for her
The words of my poems will never end

It’s okay to fall and fall again
It’s not the end of the world
For as long as you keeping getting up
You have motivation in your soul

Gone, Going, Back Again

The problem arose
Last mid-december
I became incredibly ill,
But the illness was different
I was a handicap
In the epitome of hell
My mind was swollen,
It seemed like no one understood
My loved ones cried,
And I didn't know why,
Because I was perfectly fine,
Beside the temporary retardation
It was one of those pity parties
When you begin to believe
That you're the only one of your kind

The first steps to the answers,
Involved the small pills
Once, I took them,
Handicappness vanished
Side effects were horrible
But something I put up with
Then came the chemicals
Injected into me, it was terrible
But it could've been worse
Soon, I was done with the chemicals
And the small pills.

My close friends know,
They are accepting and supportive,
They don't judge,
They like me for who I am,
They make me feel like one of them
And I couldn't ask for more
The scars still remain,
But they helped me almost forget them
They gave me one of the most incredible gifts in the world

The gift they gave me,
Was the ability,
To not judge,
Never hold a grudge,
To always accept,
And to never let,
Yourself think,
You're on the brink,
And when you're in a whirl,
It's not the end of the world~

Naked and Ashamed -Part 5-

And clothe it with your heavenly bliss...so I can feel
the jubilance...on my once withering body
I was fragile and weak and no one cared... About me...
Except you...you bring me back gladness and vivacity...
I crave your undying radiance…
Your angelic, miraculous radiance

Ooooooh.... Oooooh....OoooOooh...
Hey x3
You clothe me up...
What's up with you today?
I'm naked and ashamed
Turn the other way...
'Cause today is not the only day
I feel so damn afraid...
But hey x3
You make me feel whole
How was your day?
Hopefully the sky wasn't a shade of gray

Ooooooh.... Oooooh....OoooOooh...
You blinked, but at least you weren't aware of my tragedy scene in Romeo and Juliet...
Or else, you'd see me dead, naked and ashamed
I sacrificed myself for you in that scene...it's not the end of the world...at least the message of the movie was somewhat optimistic
Like Juliet, you are so clever and romantic
Ooooooh.... Oooooh....OoooOooh...
We could be in a Shakespeare's future books if he were still alive today...
Ooooooh.... Oooooh....OoooOooh...
That would make our day a vibrant, dazzling day...now that would be classic!

End of the World

They say it's not the end of the world
You know what they mean
The world isn't going to implode
It's not the 3rd apocalypse
People will keep on leaving
Their day to day lives
The earth still spins

They say it's not the end of the world
But they don't know your head
They don't know what you’re thinking
Yeah it's not the end of the world
But that meant the world

They say it's not the end of the world
But you can’t move on
You can't keep going
Yeah it's not the end of The world
But it's the end of Your world

Premium Member Patrolman Did Not Know What To Do

The woman was belligerent, arrogant and rude.
Almost nasty, full of vinegar, indignant fortitude.
Please settle down, he said to her.
Trying his best in his patrolman way
To let her know it was not the end of the world.
On this wonderfully sunny day.

She bit and clawed and spit and kicked.
And this was just through the window of her car.
He asked her to please settle down, but she went a bit more far.
She wailed and screamed and screeched and hit.
He did not quite know what to do.
He had never given his wife a ticket before Tuesday
And now he had given her mother one too!

None of these labels, titles or earthly things are a requirement to get into Heaven, Not None, so stop stressing over it. Nacho credit score, nacho degrees, nacho cars, nacho house, nacho race, nacho money, nacho age, nacho financial status, nacho CEO title, nacho president, governor, mayor, construction worker, plumber, hair stylist or mailman title. Nacho looks, nacho wigs or weaves, nacho 6 pack, diamond iced out necklace, or yo Moncler jacket. Nacho BBL or CDL. Nacho Cyber truck, dirty clothes, or clean shaven beard. Nacho Miss America title, private jet or yo smile. Nacho Superbowl ring and damn sho not no Oscar…

In this world, many want to achieve something. It is a desire to be rewarded with something that you have earned.
When you graduate from high school, you earn a diploma.
When you graduate from college, you earn a degree.
Sometimes when you excel at a job, you earn a raise and/or a promotion. Yet everyday, people overlook the fact that they are rewarded with God’s mercy and grace, yet can they actually say they’ve “earned” it? Our God is merciful, even when you don’t deserve it, He gives it. How Awesome is that?

Also, it’s amazing how everyone wants new stuff, more stuff, this stuff, that stuff… but, it’s nacho “stuff” that will get you into Heaven.
Do you know people cling and hold on to “stuff” for dear life. But you right, it’s yours, so be like the collection agency and keep collecting.

And as we all know, when you leave this world, it now becomes someone else’s “stuff.” You cannot take your “stuff” with you. Which means it will be left here for others to fuss over, fight over, hold on to, cherish, keep, give away or throw away.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying not to have nothing, accomplish nothing or it’s wrong to have nice things, God wants us to have nice things. All I’m saying is don't be obsessed, possessed, or stressed with or without these things. If something breaks or gets lost, it is not the end of the world.
Remember, it’s nacho stuff that goes to Heaven with you. Material things are replaceable, you are not.

Sad Lonely Me Flux

It must be 8 years plus now
Without a lover
The touch of another
And I am 44 years of age
Do you think that is strange?
Because I know others do
I know people question
And given the circumstances so would I
What is wrong with him
Is he Arthur or is he Mather
But the simple truth is
I have become so good
At being on my own
My lust has gone
For putting upon
My happiness unto another
If I have made it thus far
And I set the bar above my station
Then what the hell
Is the point of letting go
Of what I am accustomed
What I have learned to miss
Yes I do miss
But I can live with
An empty bed
And the loneliness in my head
And my heart of heart's
That other's seem to can't
I am not blunt or dead inside
And the though of arriving home alone
Sows ever increasing regret
But I still haven't met
The 1 to break the cycle
And I don't think I ever will
And there is no pill
No epiphany
No solution
No resolution
But thankfully
I can rely on the fact
It doesn't consume my time
My shoulders are broad
And I can ill afford
To fall victim of love
Although everyone wants me 2
And so do i
But if it has not happened yet
Then so be it
It's not the end of the world
It is what it is
