Best My Love Poems
if my love for you was any greater
the trees would line up in poetic forms
...awe you in sonnets written...
...part...to allow winds to cool your face...
to trace it with nature’s hand.
all the oxygen that covers all the waters rise,
supercharge the breadth of my emotion.
mountains would melt, shed their peaks like tears of joy.
even the arid deserts serve up fruits,
their prickly pears peeled on a platter.
sunset would pause and sunrise hurry...
...exist in a paradox to herald your presence.
petals would climb their stems
regroup to bloom again.
butterflies re-cocoon
emerge as glorious fairies
for all children to adore.
the skies would willingly
shape, etch, paint,
frame my exuberance.
the planet would swell,
the galaxies expand.
in the endless depth
of my singular love
i hold you dear,
safely contain you
in my admiring smile,
for now,
forevermore.

Through eternal sun stars and space
My love shall find you I will embrace
Thru invisible realms and empty voids
There is nothing that my love avoids
Thru stormy clouds and distant dreams
My love shall be there in sailing streams
Within broken hearts and withered souls
My love shall rise above these hellish holes
Thru lonely streets and dark smoked rooms
My love shall find you through the fumes
Within abandoned hope and life on edge
My love shall find you this I solely pledge
Thru forgotten time and distant sorrow
My love shall find you with Cupids arrow
Thru hell itself and the armies of darkness
My love shall enlighten even the heartless
Thru times of grief and unwanted wasted war
Just look above for my love will start to pour
Thru anguished thoughts and apprehensions
My love shall find you through all dimensions.

My heart skips a beat my love each and every time
I’m with you my dearest sweet and lovely Darling
Since the passions and feelings you stir in me
Touch the very depth of my inner being and soul
And render themselves not to mere words only
Suitable for depiction, exhibition, understanding
Rather to the image and strength of your beauty
And your rapturous desire and feeling as they
Defy rational attempts at any simple description
For you are the most radiant beyond all compare
My heart skips a beat my love when we lie together
Locked in a most enchanting embrace and kissing
So deeply, palpably that we run out of breath and pant
Anxiously at what comes next in our mutual longing
And crescendo as our passions explode and express
Themselves in a most hungry trail of urges and desires
Which makes finding love for us all the more magical
Pairing us together like a couple of star-struck kids
Lost impossibly in moments of hope and imagination
In a timeless world of love, desire, emotion, and oneness
My heart skips a beat my love when we walk so closely
Hand-in-hand talking, laughing, and living our dreams
Confronting the world and taking on whatever comes
Next as we steer our ship of destiny on a true course
Where our like-thoughts and deep love for each other
Mean something quite special that only Dreamers and
Poets can imagine and set to melody and harmony in perfect
Verses of sheer passion and delight painted onto a canvas
Of unending happiness where Heaven and Earth are one
My heart skips a beat my love when we’re forever one

~ MY LOVE SHE'D LENT ~
I followed her where'er she went
Lured onward by her fragrant scent
She clasped his hand, a handsome gent
How could she know my love she'd lent
I died one thousand deaths inside
Choked back my tears with wounded pride
How long such anguish could I bear
My heart asunder to let tear
The hour had come to make my move
My love for her I had to prove
Unsteady I, and quite unsure
Just how to break the news to her --
My tongue was still despite I tried
'To ask her this: 'Please be my bride.'

My love is gone, but he has not gone far.
I see his golden locks in waves of wheat,
the blaze of his blue eyes in each bright star;
in dewy blooms of red, his lips so sweet;
his smile in morning sun I rise to greet.
Oh, whether it be day or night, I swear
I see my wondrous lover everywhere!
His scent is with me too, for I inhale
him as I walk through woods of tall pine trees.
I taste him in fresh rain, and I can tell
that he is near me when a summer breeze
caresses me; my mind can be at ease!
For though he’s gone, I know my love will be
In beauty evermore surrounding me.
My Beloved,
My fervent Solemn passion
My LOVE bound to you
My Darling, I am entirely thine
As kindling in pure Formidable flame
My Beloved, My precious love
My better self,
If the moment of Immortality
Unveil to exist between us
I shalt whisper your Beloved name
As phantom of delight
Riveting as melodious
As mating birds
My Beloved,
My fervent Solemn passion,
Your elegance and beauty
As begotten rapturous vibrant
ebullient portrait of LOVE
As blissful birth of precious
glittering mother of pearl
Invigorating to purify
my tumultuous untamed heart
My Immortal Angel,
My Dearest LOVE
My Joyful Darling
My eyes, worships Your Eyes
In pure adoration
My eyes can NO longer
hide my addiction
My Immortal Beloved
The LOVE of sublimity,
Should I not let my eyes
become lit, before YOUR eyes
As my heart’s pupil of febrile eyes
Dives in your endless ocean
of LOVE to be drowned in ecstasy
My Beloved,
My fervent Solemn passion
My hunger has become a fain of fasting
My Darling,
Your Lips, a provocative budding beauty
which Loves to flaunts itself
shalt be my eternal
Adoring site of pilgrimage,
As my tender lips, as nourishing
As endless waves of ocean
can not resist rushing to wet
to rescue YOUR thirst of ecstasy
My Beloved,
My fervent Solemn passion,
Faithfullest heart,
My Love bound to you, As we stem
As rose garden of Elysium
As sweet scent of LOVE
Emanating from the blossoms
As our tender hands entangled
with Majestic Red Robe Of LOVE
As Our eyes wed
For moment of eternal serenity
to cast our Hearts net in endless
ocean of sublime ecstasy
to capture our own image of ONENESS
My Immortal Beloved
Sanctuary of Love, My Darling,
I am entirely Thine,
I clasp the hand of Love
As I clasp my body
As fortitude of Love
Against YOUR body,
The Citadel of Heaven,
As my lips penetrates the silence
to whisper tenderly in Thy Beloved ears;
I LOVE THEE,
As My hearts infinite tender majesty
Shalt illuminate the Devine promise of bliss
As it echoes in eternity,
As my heart decorate the tent of LOVE
My Beloved, My fervent
My Solemn passion,
My Darling, My precious one,
My soul exclaimed in delight jubilation
My Beloved LOVE
As I am fain to see THEE
in the Bethel of LOVE,
For Eternity
Forever Thine
Forever Ours
My Love (Alouette)
Loving all these years
Through my joy and tears…
My sweet memories don't fade.
When I dream of you
Feelings do renew
And my joy seems Heaven made.
It feels so very real
As my heart does heal
From the aftermath of death.
Intense longing pain
I try to regain
Peace, with every calming breath.
I feel you are near
Your presence is here
At night, when I try to sleep.
You are in my head
When I go to bed,
I won't let you see me weep.
Now, forever more
The man I adore
Will keep quiet company.
Serene thoughts of you
In all that I do
Brings me comfort wondrously.

*The Alouette Form:
The Alouette, created by Jan Turner, consists of two or more stanzas of 6 lines each, with the following set rules:
Meter: 5, 5, 7, 5, 5, 7
Rhyme Scheme: a, a, b, c, c, b
The form name is a French word meaning 'skylark' or larks that fly high, the association to the lark's song being appropriate for the musical quality of this form. The word 'alouette' can also mean a children's song (usually sung in a group), and although this poetry form is not necessarily for children's poetry (but can be applied that way), it is reminiscent of that style of short lines. Preference for the meter accent is on the third syllable of each line.

EVOL...VES
Into a voice deep and vibrating,
with words feathered and lulling.
We are love...
Love!,
nothing and everything.
With you in the serenity of nothing
that my love is everything.
scampers a bright moon
gifts liquid life a lit view
watch them rendezvous
i wrote you a star covered night
built you a sun with a dimmer light
i turned it down warm and low
called it a moon, made it glow
i rhymed you an early morning hush
so quiet you could hear a person blush
i sketched a fully carpeted globe
dressed it in a thick soft robe
i painted it in greens, blues and a palette full
your own flower garden with no weeds to pull
i sung some words, some harmonized notes
strummed you a new world, one that floats
...a pyramid each and every word, romance...
I
do know
my true love
it will make you
light headed but free.
Space is that way, you know
but you'll adjust. A small price
to pay these days for liberty.
A chance to live in a world of ours,
just us together and lives of all kinds.

Forever my love
~
Simple reminders of conscious belief
Filter my mind midst the moon’s silver glow
Satisfied truths sent to spell my relief
All that my beating heart now needs to know
Sensual visions to capture the feel
Bringing the contours of wind sculpted plains
Temptations cry out for all that is real
Filling the void that I now can explain
Cloudless these night skies of star sprinkled mist
Shimmering soft on the eclipse of time
Delicious the thoughts of your warm tender kiss
Found in these endless illusions of rhyme
Memories harbor the moments we live
Photograph remnants we’re longing to share
Telling the story of all it can give
Building the dreams now worth capturing there
Still we are standing alone on this eve
Counting the stars in the heavens so bright
Dreams can come true if we only believe
Whispering prayers on this warm summer night
Hear my desires a float on the breeze
Finding their way to the one I adore
Listen, my love, for I hope but to please
Biding my time till you’re with me once more
Down on my knees with my fingers entwined
Solemn requests I now send up above
Pleading with heaven to be ever kind
Allowing this man to receive your sweet love
All that I ask is now all that I need
Merely the chance I may prove ever true
You are my life and in that I believe
Forever my love shall be only you
Good night Soupers
Mist fills the morning with freshened air
Yellow fields smile past the distant shore
Lullabies play a gentle tune
Offer hope of what's coming true
Velvet kisses in the month of June
Every touch my heart doth swoon
In winds of care I blow free
Sending signals of my love for thee
Reaching out for you and holding tight
Each and every unguarded night
Allow my arms to be a comfort place
Left open for you with a warm embrace
In this coursing, crimson river
of my blood, you float.
There is no end to this, our eternal
amorousness.
Nay, not even human death can
remove us from Eros's moat.
Nor our touching hands' total
peacefulness.
So let's on, to the minutes as
they, like arrows, swiftly pass.
Your mistress awaits you in cobalt,
lace blue, summer gown!
Upon the kiss of morning dew on
this orb's verdant grass!
Let us do partake of vintage wines,
glorious breads and cheese till
God's sundown.
Let us dream of the children we
will create!
And weep tears of joy and blessed
happiness.
We revel in each second, so
divinely, and magically intimate.
To share with all humanity our
immutable, loves' holiness!

Sonnet One
After the snowfall but before the lily blossoms,
you were this woman who left by choice. All natural decisions
made from a place of despair. Darkness consumed you as you
fell into an addiction with expressions of deep sorrow and remorse.
step by step by step,
taking steps-
foot by foot by foot...
Slower than a run, yet faster than a turtle, closer and closer
towards your oblivion. Into mysterious unconsciousness I
whispered...
"goodbye, my love"...as you walked away.
After the spring but before the leaves, I found you drained of energy. Completely exhausted into nothingness, and through it all, you still
loved me. Seems like yesterday we walked side by side;
you
me
the gentle breeze-
You need not ask for forgiveness, sweetheart, it has been granted
long ago, and before you were gone I already whispered...
“goodbye, my love"...as you walked away.
After the sun but before the rain, you tore out the pages from your
favorite book. You wrote it at such a tender age. Too young to
understand, yet too old to make believe. Big brown eyes,
wearing a ball cap on your head.
Smiling while hiding and running while crying.
I couldn't handle this defeated
hopelessness you wore
on your sleeves
with patches
sewn on
to cover up the burn holes...
I sit at your grave once again.
No tears, no laughter, no guilt-
I stood up and whispered...
"GOODBYE, MY LOVE"...as I walked away.
I wrote this during a difficult grieving time in my life. It had been almost 6 years since my sister took her life. She was always saying goodbye, and it was finally time for me to say goodbye and let go of the guilt and sorrow.
There's nothing like losing someone you love to suicide. I couldn't decide which poem to enter today. My sister led me to this poem, I can feel it (that is exactly why I picked it). This was written on my 1 year anniversary here at PS.

"A woodland path in the dappled sun, hushed and quiet "
At last you’ve come for me, my love, my sweet!
You’ve come through tranquil woodland, with the breeze,
along that path where once we used to meet
and with the sunlight streaming through the trees!
With passion in your eyes and wings for feet,
you’ve come for me, and all my anguish flees.
You are so near, I hear your wild heart beat.
You’ve come for me, my own wild heart to seize.
Alas! The woods have vanished with the gleam
of my waking dawn. It was but a dream.

Looking down undulating mountains with
Their highs and dips,
Reminding me of your long neck, your breasts,
Your thighs and hips,
Your miraculous face, running my finger down
Your brow, your nose and lips,
Your soft sensuous arms, your hands and your
Sensitive finger tips.
I’m brought back to reality by the roll and fall,
The roaring fire,
On the engine outside the window of the plane,
Black smoke rises higher,
Emergency lights come on, put on safety belts,
May day, the situation seems dire,
My mind goes to my love waiting for me, both
Of us, strong with desire.
Plunging down at an incredible speed, there are
No mountains, but ocean,
I swim in the warmth of your gentle hazel brown
Eyes, I’m overcome with emotion,
All I hear are screams and see people crying and
Praying, chaos, commotion,
We seem to be diving out of the sky, but I am not
Afraid, for all I feel is eternal devotion!
The right wing breaks away, and we thrust forward
Doing a complete flip,
I put my hand to my head, something feels wet, I’m
Bleeding, I lose my grip,
The pilot reels out of control we descend even faster,
Now, everyone silent but hear my seat rip,
I love you my darling, I’m so sorry you will feel such
Sorrow, I’m beginning to slip!
A pre-lit Christmas tree sparkles the entrance
Monet, Van Gough, and Wassily Kandinsky prints
adorn the walls of her sitting room
a dozen painted roses sit in a faux crystal vase
and the smell of apple pie lingers in the air
coming from her Scentsy candle warmer
resting upon her replica baby grand piano
The seconds tick loudly from the tree house looking cuckoo clock
as I wait
patiently I wait
down the stairs she comes
waltzing ever so gracefully
ever so elegant
in her bright flowing yellow dress
accented by beautiful costume jewelry
my heart skips a beat
as we kiss hello
and I know
yes I know
This love is real
