Best My Life. Poems
Mama don't take my breath away
My only chance to love and play
I know you're hurting I can tell
Mama don't give up on me as well
Mama I long to touch your face
Feel the beauty of your grace
I dream one day to see you smile
Mama don't ever say Goodbye
Think I need a man in my life-
a dear writer-friend suggested.
So please dismiss and remiss,
prior I've requested.
Thinking, a man in my life,
could really make things right.
he my man could be my fan...
and fan me all the night.
Cleopatra I could be,
he could be my slave...
YES I think I need a man in my life,
excelled in a good wave!
Think I need a man in my life,
makes me very hot.
"Think I need a husband"-
I simply have forgot.
Think I need a man in my life,
that sounds like so much fun.
Winter time he'll be all mine,
a heater like the sun.
Think I need a man in my life,
to bring me lots of flowers...
Chocolates too; must bring a few,
hand feed me for hours.
Would be nice to have a man in my life,
oh how it sounds so sweet.
I could yell- what's that smell and
he could kiss my feet !
You are the light of my world my precious son
filled my days with happiness and fun.
Always smiling, never blue
how quickly you grew.
Pure delight
you
shine so bright.
Strive in all you do
now, and for your whole life through.
Spread your wings and fly; my job is done.
You are the light of my world my precious son

I recall fond memories of happy childhood days
When life was so much simpler in oh so many ways
As children we played outdoors and had so much fun
No tempting computer games, just pure fresh air and sun!
We’d make a wish as we blew on fluffy dandelion clocks
and build enormous sandcastles in my yellow sandbox
I can’t believe how fast each day is whizzing by
As a child they went slowly, as I age how they fly!
I’m now approaching the autumn years of life
blessed to be a mother and a beloved wife
My son is just amazing - he’s simply the best
But my house feels empty since he flew the nest
Some days aren’t easy, they can be very challenging
But on reflection, I wouldn’t change a single thing
I know my days are limited, who knows when life will end
I’ll make the most of every one, on that you can depend

Tender are your ruby lips, my smile has ever kissed
Gentle is your sweet smile (adoration of my lips)
Every breath of my being, a breath of your heartbeats
Steps of my existence (mere walks in your shadows)
My dear, what you’re thinking, my mind always knows.
Cadence of your pulse (a synchronous beat of lyrics)
Love of my life, you’re sound of harmonious music
Inspiration of my verses (you’re the tune of melodies)
Rhythmic are the love-phrases serenading your praises.
Blush of blossoming flowers (in garden of my spring)
And scent of pink-roses on wings of summer-breeze
Blessed are you my angel (in my autumnal dreams)
And snowflakes of my desires in winter’s riant revelries.
In parable of my life (you’re the gift of love story)
In folklore on romance (you’re my mythical fairy)
Soul of my life you are the full moon in my heart
In view of my blazing sky, you’re forever brightest star.

of his opium essence
swathed in moon-swept sparks
for this love stirs in silence

"My Life as Poetry"
When the Lotus Eaters at Loon Junction barked
I ignored their confused chicanery
closed the gates behind me
I dropped one tear
in your sedentary ocean
it contained a lifetime
the salt was wasted
on your dead sea
and I used it to flavour
my life as poetry

"When I grow up
I want to be a forester
Run through the moss on high heels
That's what I'll do
Throwing out a boomerang
Waiting for it to come back to me...
I put my soul into what I do"

Her heartbeat echoes like a love moan in my mind,
summoning centuries of refined romanticism soulfully enshrined,
the contralto of her voice a fillatio upon the cock of my consciousness,
through her eyes I see that mystery is the Mistress of meaning beyond regress,
my manly mouth serenades & suckles the rosy pussy of her prophecy, homage cunnilingus,
revelations irresistible in their heretical invigorations excite our imaginations
as we fornicate a ferocious forsooth soothsaying love's reincarnations,
a vignette of virility forthcoming from fate's far side fortifications
presents a primal promise in paranormal inceptions,
Premonitions primitive in heart heat paint
streak the skin of our desire to design an indigenous heaven,
flesh tones warm fast and feral revealing a vitality of spirituality that tongues detonate,
the Universe blooms into a Multiverse as she spreads her spell of star spice scintillation
onto my ripened body rendering her rites fertile in rich freight,
within the brain's wildfire I feel her unction,
Becoming the shaman of our secret skin ceremony
I invoke the spirit of solar youth into veinage voracious for passion's patronage,
sanctifying the unifying lust between the bodily and ghostly unlicensed liberty,
shadow temple of temptation gives offering of blood and song from astral page,
death dream extremes fire hot ejaculation of divine vindication into cosmogony
as she and I have won our now with a win over age,
My Love Muse is more than a woman
she is a savage seduction and a sacred sweetness,
a Goddess of her own Cause...a lover known as Poetess,
her name changes from lifetime to lifetime, yet she is always beauty shown -

I remember the day I picked you,
With your sweet little puppy dog eyes.
For my heart was searching for love too,
When I looked down and heard your soft cries.
Your brothers and sisters were running,
They were after a fallen clothes peg,
But there was a puppy so stunning
Trying hard to get up on my leg.
Four years it has been since that moment
And I thank God daily for his gift
Each day you give me such enjoyment
Your love has given my heart a lift.
Today I know as clear as can be,
I didn’t pick you; rather you picked me.

You’ve changed my life completely
Can’t bear it when we‘re apart
For every waking moment
You are forever in my heart
I can’t stop smiling when I think of you
Love everything you say and do
Can’t wait until there comes a time
When I know you’re truly mine
A word from you and I'm wearing a silly grin
You're the cream in my coffee, the sugar in my tea
I feel I can face the challenges of life and always win
You have become the missing part of me
Because of you I now feel whole
My heart is full and at last I'm content
I feel your warmth in the depths of my soul
Every second with you is a second well spent
Just a smile from you and my heart skips a beat
With you in my life I am fully complete
We have our whole life ahead to share
You’re the love of my life no other can compare
A million beautiful butterflies landed on us as we slept
They carry us to paradise where loving souls are kept
Here we're given holy blessing for the relationship we share
The angels smile in heaven when true love is in the air

I walk
through flames
of autumns’ sweet refrain-
That break beneath
a weight too much
to bear-
Where-
I tread in solitude
and mourning there-
Along a path
of maple trees
and scented air-
As
I recall the life
that we once shared-
~~~
And in
the twilight hours
I see
the beauty of it all-
In every
autumn leaf
that softly falls-
In loving memory of:
My Father - Harold George
Oct 27, 1927 - August 11, 2003
My mother, whom I still can call any day.
My grandparents all long-since passed away.
My dad, deceased, I hardly got to know.
My stepdad who sadly died years ago.
My daughter and her family so great.
My son, his wife and kids- all out of state.
Dear brother Dale who left this world too soon.
Fun Aunt Joan who passed away last June.
Church folks, old friends, and students I have known.
Peers from then and now with whom I’ve grown.
My sister Jenny, such a loving one.
My second sister Mel who is such fun.
Third sister Dori, from her ex now FREE.
Baby sister Thea – health nut like me!
Cousins, aunts and uncles, most still alive.
Nephews and nieces who by now all drive!
My friends in poetry who mean a lot.
Closest and sweet friends that I still have got.
Old boyfriends of my youth -(wonder where they are!!)
and my hubbie Joe who’s a super star.
Where did my life go ?
Oh, how I would like my life back !
It seems the fabric of time has developed a crack,
and through it, I seem to be falling.
Every day, work, work keeps on calling
and my days melt, one into the other,
no time to do all I must cover.
Hours are so few
For all I have to do.
Very little to remember of this one’s day
For they are all the same.
No longer a life, no time for play !
Work, work, work is the frame
of reference, routine of little variation
is my life, sometimes a little creation.
This is where my life has gone !
Work, work, work and nothing beyond.
it has penetrated, permeated my dreams.
Work, work, work, no escape it seems ?
Shattered and battered by the inequities of life
Dark nights hindered shrouding luminous skies
In a childhood that missed the thrill of playgrounds
And adulthood that ran a solo sprinter’s marathon,
Crossing continents on pedagogic visions of joy
When testimonials of knowledge bestowed wings to fly;
And there I landed far from where nothing was
And molded its shape into works of arts and crafts
From humble sketches outlined in the grains of sand—
In prairies of essence now a happy abode stands.
Only Love of my Life
You asked me once if I love you
And is this love for you true
You had to know would it be forever
All these assurances just for you
So here is the way I feel about you
And this will hold true all your life
All that I am or ever hope to be
Is all wrapped up in one word…wife
I love you way past never my dear
It has been that way since we met
Don’t doubt what I say is true.
Loving me is nothing you’ll ever regret
I will stand by you tall and proud
You are loyal, loving, honest and true
I love you more every day we spend
Now you know how I feel about you.
And there are just a few more things to say
Sometimes you think I don’t see
The nice little things I know you do
And the best is what you do for me
You bring me coffee in the morning
When my mind is still half asleep
You talk about your day with me
What we share together runs very deep
You are the only love of my life
There is no one better for me than you
So remember sweetheart please
I love you so and you love me too
