the love of my life

I surf through the silks
of his opium essence
swathed in moon-swept sparks
for this love stirs in silence
a verse sealed with fervent flares

IE, I really like how you refer to love like an opiate. It’s indeed a very powerful drug with some pretty strong effects. It’s part of what makes many of us complete. I see this made POTD. It’s a good thing to think about! Smiles!
