My Molly May
I had a little pony
I called her Molly May
So often I would venture out
And feed her bales of hay.
So then she’d frolic
Kick her heels up high
Round and round she would run
Looking sweet as she passed by.
She’d run until she was worn out
Then to the stable she would go
I’d bed her down then for the night
My love for her each day would grow
She was my, cutest Molly may
This pony always made my day.

Grow tall
Grow your horizons, wide
Grow up
Grow on the inside
Grow yourself, all around
Tower above me
And smile down
You can grow, rapid
Or you can grow slow
Grow at your own pace
As long as you grow
Grow a little
Everyday
But baby please
Don’t grow away
Small little Molly
Waddles around in the yard
Center attention
Birth of two children changed things
We forgot, Molly!!! Outside!!!

Meticulous melancholy Moody
Molly had a mole.
On her belly melon CHOCOLATE
Jelly swelly
Molly Maloy was her name.
Long grew her mane.
Called her melancholy Molly
Olly olly olly oxen free
Molly had a twin named Dolly
Dolly was a dream. Dazzling
Dimpley delightful. Dolly
Could she scream especially
Exciteful .
Something and something
Else. Those two
Dolly and Molly
Spry and coy
Molly and Dolly
Sigh and joy
Miss Molly and Dolly
Miss Molly had a dolly she called Sue
Wherever Molly went dolly went too
Molly took her dolly to school one day
But Molly’s teacher sent dolly away.
Miss Molly became most upset at that
But her mom said dolls don't belong in class
That Mothers and teachers do what’s best
They've got it right - Molly had to confess.
Dolly Sue didn't mind being left at home
When Molly went off to school alone
Sue had a lovely time along with mom
Singing and dancing to a CD-ROM.
When Molly came home it was a pleasure
The three of them had fun together
When it came to bedtime, Molly and Sue
Shared prayers and dreams the whole night through.

A twinkle of light in the midnight sky
Giggles, cuddles and a sweet lullaby
She sweeps through the house with her barefoot toes
Leaving a trail of glitter everywhere she goes
Tis with woeful eyes,
As I watch you leave again,
When will you return?
Or is this our last goodbye
I’ll wait on the porch till night
Well I could write endlessly about Frankie my cute English bulldog,
But when it comes to being a good watchdog, she’s closer to a log.
I do however have a pet that notifies us if someone is approaching,
She has taken it upon herself to do this faithfully without any coaching.
Her name is Molly and she is a watch-bird, my fearless cockatiel,
She performs this amazing task with confidence and great zeal.
Her elegant grey head feathers stand tall signifying she’s alert,
She perches stoically on the frig, her notification ready to assert.
Living in the countryside, a security system is needed, or so I feel,
When people come to the house, Molly lets out the loudest squeal.
A different chirp for each family member, my daughter gets a loud burst,
My son on the other hand gets loud staccato chirps, they’re the worst.
Molly spends most of her time out of her cage when someone is at home,
She surveys the home flying from window to door, monitoring her zone,
Taking her job seriously, she bites if you try to stop or get in her way,
Molly has a job to do, she’s the security alarm, keeping burglars at bay.
So for a little bird seed, you too can get a watch bird that makes lots of noise.
Keep in mind, there are a few downfalls, there’s a lot of things she destroys.
Chewing windowsills, hiding jewelry and pooping where ever she may be,
A bit of a bitchy bird but what a set of lungs, a unique way to increase security.

Molly Brown
Molly Brown is the cutest girl in town
Twisting and twirling as she dances round
Dressed up in her glittery fairy gown
Everyone she gets to meet is spellbound.
Molly’s acrobatic and loves to clown
There's not a dry eye when she is around
Molly never appears wearing a frown
Not ever is her smile facing the ground.
With eyes bright as her diamanté crown
Fixed to her hair as she goes spinning round
Molly Brown brings joy and laughter to town
To little Molly life's merrily sound.
Molly loves swinging from branches hung down
Once a branch broke and she fell on a mound
Her pitiful cry was heard all round town
Worst of all mommy had Molly house bound.

Today I feel quite good and jolly
I met a woman, her name’s Molly
I asked her out
But got a shout
She’s a man, that was a small folly
Russell Sivey
Truth wraps around her finger, edges of silk to the scars at her throat.
Her skin is rigid against her own mind.
Every day breaks like glass into the sea of her experience
-unrecognizable-
Shells press to her ear. The salt of time courses down her face.
Knowledge leaves her nothing.
Your echoes are all meaningless, she tells herself, and her screams are molten.
If the stars could find her, she wouldn't be empty -
So she burns for the quenching of her thirst. Loneliness roots her to sand.
Faith isn't tangible like this sorrow, like the wings dragging from her shoulders,
All the beauty she folds inside her because mirrors won't reflect
Lyrics like the ones she has branded across her face.
Lies slip so easily like honey through her senses. They bruise her heels,
-refusing to run-
In desperation, she raises her fists through the keyholes of the storm -
Nothing hurts more than her own past, so she takes it in hand and lets it burn.
God traces his fingertips across her wounds and his lips across her forehead.
-She is loved because she loves freely and
she is strong because she has held herself upright on her own-
The rain fills her mouth and sets her tears free.
*For Molly, one of the strongest people I know. I love you, babe.*
'Whatcha say we spin a jig?' she said from
'neath my tongue
her almond bittersweet the queried tang ...
so naught but few, the moments 'til my belfry's
bell was rung
and thus with such euphoric, sexy clang
"Do the worst and mock, you beast!" I bellowed
at the moon
now feeling quite as tho' I ruled the world ...
for I, Mad Molly's mournful feast, would feign
her lover soon
and off this craggy ledge, be gently hurled
the surfy sirens, leagues below, were pounding
with my guilt
and screaming that my sacrifice should be
Mad Molly's choice and reckoning, for her's
the heart 'twas jilt
her tempers raging stronger than the sea
but she had promised me a dance, and I would
not be spurned
thus twirling 'top those ledges like a fool ...
my arms and legs akimbo while I tossed and
jigged and turned
so soaking in the moon's pearlescent drool
I danced with crazed abandon, as Mad Molly
laughed and cried
each dark regret and demon bleeding free ...
I couldn't blame her anymore, for how I'd
sinned and lied
'twas time those hells be given to the sea ...
"I hate you through, but love you more, Mad
Molly," I'd begun
the surging surf below, did plead and roil ...
"Please, kiss me deep now, Molly, for our time on earth is done!"
then off we waltzed ... into the mortal coil.

One fine day, me, Molly Coddle and my Goombah Pa Pa,
were sitting in The Cat In The Hat restaurant;
we gongoozled the men-you. " oh, I have collywobbles
in my tummy!" I said sort of loudly. (hint, hint)
Finally, our waiter Fuddy Duddy, (that is his name, honest)
so slowly, comes over, "What will you hatz?" He sayz;
I quickly place my odour, " I'll have a chocolaty lickety split,
a smellfungus burger with all the rigmarole with it;
and some fat-me-up fries!"And I slam close, the men-you.
Goombah Pa Pa lookz at his men-you for the longest time,
(oh la di la, whatz the brouhaha, just odour, I'm a thinking)
at last he sayz, "I'll have some kerfuffle tea, and some of
that skullduggary soup of the day and some shennanigan
pasta surprize!" And he slams the men-you closed, with a smile.
Fuddy Duddy nods and walks away with the speed of a snail,
(oh gobbleygook, my tummy is rumbling) when at last he;
is coming our way with a tray loaded with our meal- (rumble!)
when some doozy, klutz of a kid trips Fuddy Duddy, and
we have to skedaddle out of the way . . . or wear our food!
Goombah Pa Pa, canoozles me on the cheek. "Nevermind,
Molly Coddle, we'll just re-odour . . .
(oh collywobbles, I'm thinking, loudly)
Goombah Pa Pa, whispers, "patience is a virtue, Molly Coddle!"
(rumble!)

I Need A Cup of Seuss
Jerry T. Curtis,
Dear Molly,
For you, I feel nothing but anger, contempt, and disdain, because you made me believe that you were the cure for all my psycho-emotional pain. I surrendered my heart and my soul to you Molly and I even let you take control of my brain.
At one point in time, I didn't know who or what monster you turned me into. But one thing I do know, Molly you made it impossible to get through my days and nights without you.
You had control of my body now Molly, and if I didn't choose you, you would make me feel so sick inside to the point where I was helpless not knowing what to do.
Molly, you made me fall in love with you, you are my smoove, silky slim! What did you say Molly? “To hell with my wife and kids.., I ain't worried about them!
I was so messed up about you Molly, I started doing things I swore I would never do, lying and stealing from the people who meant the most to this KID. Molly, they say, for a junkie to get what he has to have, he will do things he never did!
Molly, you had me convinced that throughout my whole life you were determined to stay, and I didn’t have the strength to turn from you and just walk away.
Before I knew it Molly, everyone I loved had seen this side of me that was hurting them inside, every time my family or my counselors questioned me and asked me to confide, I did what you taught me to do Molly.., I looked at them straight in their eyes and I lied.
I wanted to let you go so bad Molly and get you out of my way, but I was so scared to even tell someone.., so fearful of what they would say.
Molly, I didn’t want to be judged like that, so it was a decision I would have to make, but I've wasted so much time with you Molly, it might be a little too damn late.
Incarceration was a curse I knew it was going to come down to, but Molly the blessing is that it made me free and emotionally relieved, knowing that I could not get to you.
Dear Molly, it was a struggle, but it was a worthwhile fight, because now I’m in control again and today you are out of my life.
Being sober turned me into the person I've always wanted to be, and Molly, I know it was the one day you were praying I would never see.
Now I am doing all the good things I never imagined myself to do, and proudly I can say I am doing them Molly.., without you!
