To right the wrongs of love no flawless gauge exists
Though visions unfulfilled can leave one bereft
With tears of remorse for the ones who didn’t show
Or lamenting the ones who came and left
Sparkly wings donned we cruise the starry skies
Crooning songs of love to the silvery moon
Mourning its presence being ~ Too late? ~ Too soon?
Grieving for the ‘dish’ who ran away with the ‘spoon’
Rewrite your song ~ Compose a new melody
Peek through those shades of pearlescent pink
Discard the restraints of unrequited love
Bask in loves splendor ~ lest it goes in a blink
Feel a whisper of the breeze ~ on those thundering seas
The quest starts right here on this night crystal clear
That rusty anchor raise ~ you’ve lingered too long
It’s your ship to control ~ Reclaim the power to steer

is romance in the air
drops to one knee
ready to propose
what will her answer be

third finger left hand
should they ring their parents
plans to be made
venue needs choosing
how much will it all cost

Bare footed wind is swaying the curtains
Freeing the air from all its dewy burdens
Letting the dim silvery moonlight
Cast engolangated shadows at midnight
It brings some melodies along
Somebody, in distant, singing a song
From the woods it comes, I can guess
Their windows are not shut, it suggests
The night is dark, the night is cold
A waning moon is rising and the wind is bold
Yet the song is lovely and feels so sweet

inner light with no bounds;
That's what you see lifting
me into the storm clouds;
Any doubts left dying;

I have faltered before;
Uncontrollable tide
raging inside my core;
Never again backslide.
Your eyes light my world
touch the cockles of my heart
pulse me with desire.
Your touch makes me want
like a thirst in a desert
quench me with thy lips.

with their eyes they gaze and stare
No words need spoken
Suddenly Awake!
Senses heightened in surprise.
Love is in the air!
Love is in the air tonight,
I can see it everywhere.
Butterflies and dragonflies
Flirt while kissing in mid-air.
The fireflies fly flashing.
And illuminate the night.
Children seeing, squeal with glee,
And move closer to the sight.
Love is in the air tonight,
I can hear it in the trees.
Bullfrogs sing; their dreams take flight.
And love calls cling to the breeze.
The wise old owl blinks her eye.
And whistles, Hoot-hoot, hoot, hoot!
She already loves her guy.
Three owlets have just said “Hoot.”

Can you feel it in your heart?
Children gather near, each night.
Familial loves then start.
My soul feels your spirit near.
Connected, cherished within.

Skipping heartbeats in the air
With the warm sun in your voice
In the cozy tipsy room
The pen is restless
Pink desires of crimson fruits
Have gone to the dense woodland
To drink wine from the moon cup
The box is greedy
Ice on pulsating sweet heat
Flames on slice of valentine
Passionate warmth on your palm
Restless painting brush
A night for crazy casket
A dark time for equine rhythm
Valentine taps on the cheek
It’s time to wake up
We all have lyrical pens
In our pink chest bouncing hues
Rich or poor, flames in impulse
To wake up and sleep
Champagne in the stars of night
Wind calling to cross the line
Tonight is for thine and mine

Love is it in the air? Is it the perfume of a flower? Is it inside your soul.
Where no bad man can go!
But the one man who can grow his passion with you.
If he makes you feel good.
Then maybe you would. Let your heart be a flutter.
His aim is to love you like no other.
The sun would never set on your romance.
If he can make you dance to his charm and his spirit.
You would always want him you would love him and miss him.
His looks maybe mild but his heart is like a child.
Because with you he knows no wrong!
And he would compose just for you a song.
He will sing to you all night of the passion and the right to make you feel loved
And never feel bad for that would forever make him feel sad
You are his light you are his world and forever he would make you his only girl.
You sometimes feel down but he will be there for you even if you hurt him with anger and words.
he will still hold your heart for the real hurt would be if you decided to part.
As you hold close the rose that he gave you the sweet smell enters your nose and you remember his words!
Forever I am yours and yours alone no regrets no lies for nothing will part us my yes is yes and my no is no.
but not to you. just any other girl. For no woman will compare to my lover so fair.
With her eyes that sparkle and her shiny perfect hair. For her I will forever be there.
Come rain come storm and even when the sun shines so strong. For Even death would never sway me away from you.
I would even fight the hounds of hell to be by your side and it would be like our souls were forever one just me and you.
But if the day came when you wanted another I would let you go for Love isn’t just about being two.
But Sometimes a lover has to let the other become what they must and sometimes the relationship must become as dust.
To blow away in the wind.So that you can fly safe and free even, if you could never stay with me.
As the day ends so a new one begins. Never let your anger go down with the sun.
But let your happiness rise with the dawn and enjoy life.
As life must be enjoyed not alone but with another.

I saw heaven in his eyes as he glared in the distance,
a look of grace at which then he looked back at me.
Love is in the air tonight with such fascination,
but never once have I found such beauty...
until I met him-
my heart only dim.
Be still dear cupid, my soul has been captured-
fulfill this part of me, I've longed to be raptured.
Stay right there I shall come and follow-
for before I saw him my soul only hollow.
God-given strong hands with a light-hearted smile,
Sincerity lingers and simplicity in his walk.
His scent, a fragrance of a cool breeze under the twilit moon,
streaming through my soul as he delicately talks.
When cupid released the arrow to his heart-
he sent me truth, for we shall never part.
Like pebbles on a beach he surfaces me-
like a tide in the sand he sets me free...

my soul only dim.
