Premium Member A Yarn of Sunshine

"I've got sunshine"

TANKA~ 1
This heavyweight wind
jiggles the chimes limbs hanging
sensitively
a thousand sound waves invade
visible radiation
~~~~~
TANKA~ 2
Dark moonlight tempest
blunders off the mountain top
a massive flooring…
the courageous beam of light
saved souls upon meadow blades
~~~~~

TANKA ~3
A place called daylight
where the beam is always pure
luminescence
if you could only feel this
you’d ask to hold the torchlight
~~~~~
TANKA~ 4
Somewhere were you sleep
the fluorescence substance light
absorbs your beauty
every second that you breath
the light becomes like sunshine
~~~~~

TANKA  ~5
Sky of falling stars
belong in my diary
notification
renewing my wedding vows
sunshine begins with me
~~~~~
TANKA~ 6
Missed the snooze button;
pendulum rods tick out loud
morning bird and worm;
sunlit curtains smooth rays
anonymous melody
~~~~~

TANKA ~7
Two rainbows petals
peek outside with loneliness
against no sunlight
rainy weather condition
no color will bring you back
~~~~~
Evening Enchantment
Dusk jiggles and stirs evening enchantment.
A crystalline glass of intoxicating twilight
                      in hues of yellow, orange, magenta and blue.
                Globs of honey-dipped cumulus floating
          and garnished swirls of minty mist rising above.
Every drop is spilling out immense pleasure
                          that transcends me into euphoric freedom
            and my boredom drowns in it as I drink it all.
Premium Member Baby Brother Tells Me So
Baby brother, your naughty smile entices
A chuckle ringing through the night,
While those eyes blue wink like stars
That I'm pretty sure , we are alike...
If Aunt Nora pinches those rosy cheeks
Yes, I'd whack her leg, she'll never know-
For now, you're saying,  let's peek-a- boo
As moon face jiggles up and down,
Till Mama yelps, 'No, our babe might toot gas!'
And peachy feet, they would outgrow mine,
Then we’ll ride on airy coastlines
Sharing guy secrets and watching the girls--
Maybe, hug one or two in Dad's bike
That's what your laughter implies...
O you giggle, mouth without teeth yet;
Not to worry, I am sneaking yummy jello...
Eat that quick! It's all over your bald head
We'll make it look like soap bubbles--
As the hero, I'll tell our parents,  the milk
Flushed through the crib...You agree, snickering,
Naughty brother, we have more pranks to go!
Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry
Nothing Left
Lies upon lies,
Death upon death,
Forever more nothing is left.
I sit and watch,
I stare at the touch,
I wait for the time,
What will happen? Would it be a crime?
Hits and abuse,
Nothing is left here for the little Moose,
Will she be a fray?
Or will she throw her tragic life away?
So many questions,
Too many misdirection’s
Will she look upon the flask?
Will she realise she has one last task?
Lies upon lies,
Death upon death,
Forever more nothing is left.
So many painful thoughts,
Will he ever be caught?
I stand and walk,
He won’t want to talk
I knock at the door,
I stare at the mess on the floor
She realised she had a final task,
I realised this quicker than half past
He is dead upon the floor,
His head hidden by the door
I close the door,
Half of his head is no more
He arm is gone,
Maybe she will mourn?
His body is cut,
In tiny shreds and nothing left near his gut
She took it all,
As we took off for her ball
Ready for another to make her mad,
She doesn’t feel at all bad
She hunts as her job,
She removes a pain killer because her head throbs
We sit in the car,
Maybe we can travel far?
I sit and have the giggles,
As she laughs she jiggles
You want to look out,
While I make him shout?
We have our job,
We make them sob
Lies upon lies,
Death upon death,
Forever more nothing is left.
Premium Member Jello
It wiggles and jiggles
and feels fun to the touch,
a cinch to make;
something everyone loves.
There are a million flavours,
many are fat free,
jello has been around
for many centuries.
The colours are as vibrant
as a peacock's quills
just pick your favourite;
add water, and let chill.
For something so simple
to bring such pleasure,
it is one of life's mysteries,
that everyone treasures.
So lets pause for a moment
and give thanks to jello;
for who doesn't smile,
at the options of jello.
lavender florets
sway their hems to a gold wind...
as
queen bee jiggles
aisle of lush gardens
invite morn's jaybirds on flight...
coo
cooing sweet tunes
dew bathes newborn plants
evergreen their christened ribs...
from
heaven's blessings
such bright assemblage
displays lush April's glory
when
spring thrills charmed hearts
Premium Member Eve's Apple Pie
Save your soul in a pickle jar
Wishes will get you only so far
Today is yesterday in review
Will tomorrow bring anything new?
Saints are sinners that God forgave
Dead bodies are farmed into the grave
You give and take and take and give
You live to die and die to live
Paradise was lost by a fleshy bite
Innocence was deflowered by knowing right
Adam's apple jiggles when he lies
Nothing is sweet as Eve's apple pie
Premium Member Mr Wiggles
An old Irish gnome named Mr. Wiggles
Has never ending humor and giggles
His jokes are getting old
It's the same ones he's told
But still fun to watch his belly jiggles
Premium Member Labradoodles
Come on Jiggles, let’s go for our walk, and remember, walk with pride
That’s my girl, my beautiful standard poodle, with your sexy stride
Jiggles short tail pounded from side to side,
Her excitement she could never pretend to hide
And her longing to get out was surely not feigned
Jiggles was a flirt, her desire for a handsome dog had never waned!
I put the leash on Jiggles,  within 5 minutes, she had spotted Plato
A bold young handsome powerful dog, a Labrador, I let her go
She lowered her eyes demurely, as Plato sidled her way, so slow
They sniffed each other and walked towards a bush, both had to know
They disappeared from sight, their love consummated, Jiggles wore a flush,
And Plato, this aristocratic dog, I could see a definite exited blush!
I looked at Plato’s owner and he at me, what were we to do,
These two would not be separated, this was truer than true,
So owners and dogs visited regularly, and the due date
Now close, mummy Jiggles came into labor, Hugh and I tended to Plato’s mate
Three beautiful Labradoodles, fluffy and cute, to meet Jiggles was Plato’s fate, Hugh and I fell i love, because of two dogs and an affair on their first date!
Nothings
"Nothings"
By Rachel Heffington
There's nothing as green as the grass,
And nothing as blue as the sky,
There's nothing as crystal as glass,
Nothing sweeter than warm apple pie!
There's nothing like root beer to drink,
There's nothing like flowers to smell
And nothing like minds that'll think,
Nothing swirlier than a snail shell.
There's nothing like snowfall for white
There's nothing like lemons for yellow,
And nothing like moon for the night,
Nothing wiggles and jiggles like Jell-O.
There's nothing as funny as laughter,
There's nothing so fleeting as time,
There's nothing so final as "after"
And nothing like ending this rhyme.
Premium Member Hot Chocolate Hot Chocolate
Hot chocolate hot chocolate I like it sweet, at Yule time I'll drink it then take a back seat
beside the old tree where Santa I'll meet they'll be cookies galore for St Nick to eat
as he shimmies and jiggles on two booted feet and a face flushed like rubious beet
I'll be eager to meet him but I will not cheat as I wait for the daylight now isn't that neat !
hot chocolate hot chocolate with marshmallows too I'll watch the chimney as I quietly chew
I have coated the bricks with butter and goo so his belly will slide,
(wink) he'll know what to do !
Down in the manger the angels acrue waiting for Jesus to
make His debut
While the Three Kings are offering their three gifts on cue, dear Santa
I'm waiting, I'm waiting for you
Hot chocolate hot chocolate I like it sweet,
but when it comes to Jesus, I won't take a back seat.
Premium Member Curlicues and Squiggles
~ Curlicues and squiggles ~
A skywriter flew by
   He drew a straight line
I looked up with a sigh
   What if the writing were mine
I'd draw curlicues
   jagged lines and squiggles
Loop-di-loops with corkscrews
   lithe wiggles and jiggles
I'd fill up the sky
   with all sorts of shapes
Apes in red capes
   and bunches of grapes
to lure loners and lovers
   on fire escapes
and behind nighttime drapes
And then at the end
   when I'm near out of sky
I'd draw a heart with an arrow
   that you and I'll ride
Life In An Aquarium
My life  in an  aquarium,  so  great,
But  fearsome,  with unknown  fate.
Swimming  against  the  fresh  water,
Flapping  my  gills  for a  breather,
The  air pump  producing  bubbles,
Sending  my body  in jiggles,
The  actinic  lights  send  a  spectrum,
Each time  causing  a  spasm,
And  I  move  downward  in fear,
Hoping  I  might  disappear,
My life  in an  aquarium,  so  great,
But  fearsome,  with unknown fate.
Re-surfacing  after a  short  while,
Assured  of  a  safe  profile,
Going  back  to  my  previous  dance,
The  water brewing  romance,
Keeping  my eyes  wide open,
Of  course  with  great  caution,
I  detect  vibratory  ripples,
Must  be time  for  something  scrumptious,
My life  in an  aquarium,  so  great,
But  fearsome,  with unknown fate.
Following  my meal  lead  nobly,
I  come  upon  a  worm  on a  spree,
Hidden  by  the  blue  green algae,
Yes  it  seems  so  beefy,
Covetously  I  swallow  my meal,
Trying  to  elope  with zeal,
I  notice  my mouth is  hooked,
Sooner or later  I  might be  cooked.
My life  in an  aquarium,  so  great,
But  fearsome,  with unknown fate.
Premium Member Getting Old Sucks
My ass used to wiggle but now it just jiggles.
My breasts look down at the floor.
Gravity and old age have taken over.
I'm not a "pretty young thing" anymore.
When I look in the mirror I wonder
Who in the hell is that person I see.
With grey hair and wrinkles and hair on my chin,
That person just couldn't be me.
I used to shave my lovely, long legs
Before I headed to bed.
That really is no longer a concern,
I shave my mustache instead.
My legs now resemble a road map
With lines running here and there.
If I could go back in time to my teens
I'd join a gym.... I swear.
Where on earth did my youth go?
I turned around and lost it somehow.
It's like aliens took away my body
And look what they left for me now.
I really don't mean to grumble,
I really don't mean to moan.
I just want to buy a new body
Like the one that I used to own.
I guess I will have to just jiggle.
It's what my ass will now do.
But I'd love to be able to turn back the clock
To when my figure was perfect... wouldn't you?
You Ask Who She Is.
Elegant, yet simple, confident,
Mistaken for a seventeen year old at times,
Goes to the park every weekend,
She spends her summers with her family,
Volleyball under the rain, soda is her addiction,
Education keeps her going, Sugary, Bitter-sweet heart,
Spanish pop singer, her hips dance to life's music,
Movie watcher, Nicholas Sparks reader, books are second world,
Algebra genius, tends to be right, inconvenient attitude,
She zips her mouth shut to keep a secret, this means she's trustworthy,
Little voices in her mind guide her life, light brightens her path,
Walks around in converse high tops, her dresses get blown by the wind,
Her lover receives her kisses, her heart is tender, she needs to be handled with care,
Her life consists of colors, when nothing has light,
Poetry helps her, her pen and her get along perfect,
She runs around a field in soccer cliques,
Likes to go to Burger King, her friends are her third half,
You see her heart is big enough for different people,
She might be able to fill the world in there,
They call her a nerd, for she uses big words, she smiles,
Her dreams are higher than a mountain, she stays strong,
Head low, with horns, she's a bull, she'll fight,
Little kids are her joy, she can play hide and seek for hours,
Never pays attention to her science teacher, listens to her parents,
Enjoys watching wrestling, writes lyrics to finally become a composer,
Studies to become a teacher,
Her dearest cousins became her diary, her teddy bears became her shoulder to cry on,
Jewelry surrounds her body, face pampered with make up,
We all have masks don't we? She doesn't, she's true, only make up covers her identity,
Toes have blue nail polish on them, she wiggles and jiggles along side elders,
She enjoys their wise jokes,
Clumsy, young, life learning, care giving, girl.
You ask who she is?
I will answer, that girl you see, she is me.
