Window of Summer
Nights grow longer,
stars in flamed blue,
the luscious trees waving away-
with boughs so plump,
ripeness is due,
and dreamy strolls light up the bay...
How the breeze jiggles, toes are bare
on sandy coasts, ioys are night's grace
then 'round I go to our town's fair
and cherish all of summer's blaze!
