chairs.
E veryone is excited; the snow is falling and

“L et’s all help, and get them out there quick!” The 2nd grade teacher sticks in
her head to hollar,
“I ce will be here within the hour. Everybody help.” A bunch of 4th and 5th
graders run in to help dress

Teacher throws out a magic lasso, and 39 kindergarteners all grab hold. The next minute, they
land in a big snow drift.
“Lickety, lickety, yickety, bickety, pickety, split!” they all yell, running away in every conceivable direction.

Fred Sr. doesn't like most things that start with e-.
Thumbs down to e-banking, e-books, and e-asy.
He's known to hollar, “I hate all this e-stuff!”
E-learning, e-coupons, e-love, e-cetera…
"E-nough is E-nough!"
Fred Jr., an e-cop, catches e-crooks online.
Thumbs up to e-everything! He thinks it's all fine.
He's known to hollar, “ I love all this e-stuff!”
E-stings, e-crimes, e-heros, e-cetera…
"I can't get E-nough!"
Fred Jr.'s son, an e-doc, helps patients online.
He lives an e-idea coming into its prime.
He's known to hollar, “We need this e-stuff!”
E-medicine, e-nurses, e-labs, e-cetera…
"Who would say "E-nough is E-nough?"
I ATE A GRASSHOPPER
ANTS DANCED INTO THE HOUSE
MOUSE FINISH THE LAUNDRY
AS THE LAZY CAT SLEEPS ON THE COUCH
DOG IS COOKING DINNER PARROTS MAKING DESERTS
STRAWBERRY CHOCOLATE JELLO PUDDING PIES
AS THE GRASSHOPPER JUMPED OUT MY MOUTH
YET BEFORE HE COULD HOLLAR
AND BEFORE I COULD SWALLOW
by james edward lee sr.
I want to act the way it wants me to
I fight hard not to this is true and if I let go it would come out like this
I would scream and hollar so loud to rid all my pain and sorrors
I would take revenge on all my yesterday's and tomorrows
I would not laugh at a single thing that was good for the creature inside of me
would not allow it
I would throw my future away thinking about all the things that did not matter
I would turn my whole self inside out and the creature within would WIN without a
doubt!
If you do a good deed everyday.
Even when you go out to play.
No bad will, will you convey.
And all those you help will gladly say,
"He helped me in every way."
And when the weather turns warm in May,
go outside and don't delay,
get in the sunshine's golden ray.
Even on a beach towel lay.
Listen to the chirping of the bluejay,
sitting in the tree growing in the clay.
Those good deeds don't hold at bay.
Then turn around and hollar, "Hey!"
But everyone else will hollar, "Yea!"
If you do a good deed everyday!

There once was an
old man named
Benny.
Who never in life
saw a penny.
When once saw him
dollar,
he fainted in a hollar.
O poorest! the old
man named Benny.
I went down to the graveyard
just to see my daddy's grave.
I went down to the graveyard
just to see my daddy's grave.
They say it was the whiskey
made my poor daddy misbehave.
Momma used to hollar,
'Don't you go sneakin' out the house.'
Momma used to hollar,
'Don't you go sneakin' out the house.'
But daddy he was quiet, yes
He was quiet as a mouse.
Momma said, 'He's better dead.
You know he never learned to live,
Momma said, 'He's better dead.
You know he never learned to live,
He was just a low-down daddy
getting good at telling fibs."
Spend a dollar and recieve no change.
Go ahead and hollar and just feel strange.
Take a walk right off the ledge.
Don't bother trying to balance on the edge.
The Six-o-Clock News will tell it with no pity.
And feed the beast of vicariosity.
How'd you do?
Wha'd it cost?
Hey I heard.
You say you lost?
Whew!
Thats too bad.
Hey I'll see you later. Boy, I'll bet he's mad.
Belly up and blurt it out.
And tell it like it is.
It's on the wire, you had it out with your girlfriend Liz.
Let me get that, your money's no good.
Come on friend, it's a small neighborhood.
an abominable monster
an adorable man
and a good little whore
with a bible in hand
came strolling along
in tune to song
until Winter said
…. a birthday went wrong
" yo merry! "
and the tramp don’t know
your dirty skirt drips
from the last cup of jo
the breath mint hints
of a back stage blow
" indiscretions "
reek of perfection
…. don’t you no?
" fi-dollar "
and I can make you hollar
but it’s really the whore
who owns this show…
In the Book of money
it’s the me who says “know”
.
.
.
awes for the color of money
yet set upon a high cloud
aligning where there be no crowd
the whispers of a silver shroud
put gravity
where the light is loud
so the waves came calling
and it’s me who came falling
upon a where… eyes nose their hear…

now I know my ABC's
next time won't you sing with-
STOP
cataclysmic
but all the beats i'm saying is coming out arrhythmic
prismic
light shines a rainbow
but how far could light reach down this rabbit hole
woah
feet ain't so lucky
want to mark this file but i'm not David Duchovny
Rush me
you know you want to sing it
but Tom Sawyer's pride drowned; couldn't bring it
and so we watch
we're taught play dead
there's too much words inside my bed
but when I swallow, you'll come instead
a rush of blood to the head
play it cold
how many more tears have to dry and mold?
do you need me to spread my mouth open?

all of that nonsense in your head...
My goodness but its hot
I'm wringing wet.
"Women perspire," he said,
"only men sweat."
Well, guess again buddy
maybe la-de-dah ladies perspire,
but Real Women sweat
and right now I'm on fire.
In high school my mother
would take me to the beauty parlor
to get me a fancy dance doo
and then later I'd hollar
Because after a dance or two,
my hair would be dripping wet.
I was so embarrassed
all covered with sweat.
Air conditioning is just too cold
and it smells funny,
so I sit in front of a fan
when it gets too sunny.
But running out for chores
in 90-degree heat
is no fun at all
I just come home beat.
So you'all have a good summer ...
and I still say it yet ...
that ladies may perspire,
but Real Women sweat.
I like hamburgs and hotdogs.
I even like a brat.
At cookouts it don't matter...
Just cook up what you've got.
I don't mind getting dirty.
My shoes won't stay on long.
Don't let me see you cover your ears
while I sing my favorite song.
I like to fish with live bait.
I just prefer the worms.
You'll never hear me hollar
when it wriggles and it squirms.
I'm just a natural lady.
I live with mother earth.
My family says I'm normal...
for what their opinion's worth!
grab yourself its hang time, out with with me about we see,
anything honestly, create it and believe, reason be thieves,
if uneducated on spiritual businesses, responsibility is yours
to live free but you missed cause not knowing keeps ya ship
lisping and ya sails is twisted, one second you capsize could,
would but shouldn't cause ya lucky little human be the greatest
in the room with evidence this is boom,
if you open up your little zoom!
grab yourself by the collar, give a little hollar, not for a dollar,
but some peace if it bothered, hear me and answer with art
tisk tisk full of love smothered in hugs catching most bugged
out stares cause my eyes be a glare reflecting that stare with
a lovely appearance from a spiritual hence, possibility past
tense, so if you just see then peace could still happen just starting
with you n them if reading this poem you've began.
(slow clap)(slow clap)
yes ill say it again you've began this peace that you've possibly
envisioned now execute with precision in poetic permission
permissible by inscription from rospel funk to those in addiction
to nothing thats them living life in submission, your conscience
is missing just stay quite and listen she's speaking the gift is.
Mornin coffee thinkin of you!
Simmers thoughts of a wonderful brew,
as dreams of romance percolate into view!
Such an awesome aroma I sense,
if we were to become more intense!
How's about a warm slow roast,
somethin that you'll like the most!
And if you want to make it nice'n hot,
know Im gonna like you a lot!
Here's some sugar for your cup dear,
with visions of holding you near!
Cafe au' lait is a tasty treat,
but bet your the one thats really sweet!
What a rich blend we've found,
and I look forward to stickin around!
Guess I better get a bigger pot,
well considerin all the luv you got!
Starbucks gives you lots of frothy foam,
you know I cant wait to get you all alone!
Wishin you have a bottomless mug,
so I can give ya lotsa hugs!
Hey care for some Arab-bic-ka,
you wont mind if I grab-at-ya!
Gettin dizzy the smells so heavenly robust,
why honey you might like if I just go for bust!
Want to wait for a traditional slow drip,
and get better acquainted with your upper 'n lower lip!
Expresso has a very strong flavor,
but girl it's you I really want to savor!
Fix'in yours up all real creamy,
and gettin it nice and steamy!
Oh so sweet and yummy,
brings a taste of joy to my tummy!
Shots of Kahluha makes a good intoxicating mix,
and I would crave to give you a nice fix!
Yep just hoping that you'll spike my cup,
and really stiffin things up!
Darlin for you I'm makin it strong,
so maybe I can kiss ya all night long!
And anytime your ready to take a drink,
deep within your arms I long to sink!
Be glad to fix ya a mocha delite,
and still be kiss'in ya come early daylight!
Next there comes a double shot latte,
your turn to show me how your so risque!
Carefully made you'll never find any course grounds,
your tearin me up with all them sweet moanin sounds!
Just ask me to prepare yours with a french press,
and surely you wont last long in that lil mini dress!
Amazing what happens when you roast a little bean,
lacey silk stockings tempt where to get in between!
Just hollar whenever you want a cappuccino,
now what about that juicy maraschino!
Ahhh the heated scent is so incredibly aromatic,
why honey never knew your so kinky 'n acrobatic!
So whenever you ponder for your cup,
k-n-o-w that I'd like to just fill you right up!
Mmmm talkin bout good to the last drop,
whoa babe I'm about ready to pop!
Thinkin you might go for a really fine grind,
I'm about ready to lose my mind!
You damn sure aint worth me sweatin over no grave
She sat patiently draggin off her cigarrette
she thought over and over about the words he said
She remembered the sound of the zipper closing on his pants
The smell in the air as he heated up his glass
You stupid ***** don’t you know that I love you
You god damn whore don’t you know that I would die for you
I’ll kill you if you ever try to leave me again
Draggin off her cigarette , a shotgun by her side
Its now, just a matter of time
Just a matter of time…before she sends him straight to hell
His keys jiggled in the door, she smelled whiskey before his boots touched the floor
One look into his iodine red eyes,
a shotgun blast rang all thru them hollar pines
You stupid bastard don’t you know that I tried to love you
You dumb son of a ***** I nearly died cause of it
But now I’m free
to leave any time that I please
She dragged his body out into the cold and there she let it lay
She said to herself,
dear God just let mother- nature have her way
Cause you damn sure ain’t worth me sweatin over no grave
