~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A ship does not sail with yesterday's wind. -Louis L'Amour
Melting dusty dreams, swallowed by breathless
Poetry who burns through the delicate light,
A fiery passion, resilient as the warmth that abides
On the sun’s heavy smile, the stars glistening
Moon who knows the truth will decide, between
Songs who sigh and the dance of still nights,
Becoming more than a gentle alibi, more alive,
More melodious than the stars and the seas,
More like blessings, psalms who glow gracefully
Flowing into the hues of lasting peace, serenity.
Swelling silence, awakening to the firefly’s glistening,
Overburdened by hesitant hopes, falling from hearts
Who can hear the delicate murmurs of lasting prayers,
Echoed on the souls who know that life begins
When yesterday blurs into the past and tomorrow
Becomes a soft wish, while today knows the meaning
Shadowed by feelings, blowing in the winds of joy,
Stilling the feet who are going, glittering in the eyes
Who are growing delighted by the wisdom in current
Moments, nearby dreams, existing in the present…
His gift to you and I, His gift of love and light,
His gift, the present time… where we stand on solid ground,
When we stand with the great I AM!
