Best Heartedness Poems

Premium Member Voiceless Eagerness

I'm that my words and pen can't express my weakness.
Nobody could have foreseen I felt such happiness.
My bald secret is now included in my poetic liveness.
I'm at a loss for words to define my soulfulness.

All that I do for you is for you and your uniqueness.
To be clear, you were born to bestow our joyfulness.
Had sent a blessing to us thanks to God's holiness.
Son, you depict nicely how a son may have lightness.

My duty will always be to offer you matchless.
If you're in the lamest rule, you deserve my promptness.
You lifted my artwork to an extreme level of skillfulness.
Everywhere I fit, you seem to follow me with firmness.

Regardless of where I am or how I manage my illness.
The ghost that lurks within me is a mystic elusiveness.
Of inspiration and creativity that is in my mind flawless.
It just takes one look to confer my focus and cleanliness.

Claim anything you envy, but don't leave me clueless.
Yet, I am aware of how grateful you are for my lavishness.
Even the urge to craft your own way has uniqueness.
With all my resources, knowledge, and awareness.

All have a role to play in preserving our rising family spotless.
Sway to the beat of my soul and embrace my closeness
Allow yourself to widen your eyes; your destiny will be harmless.
I drew the full moon for you to retain your greatness.

Without question, I admire you for your graciousness.
My son, I'll outline your disparity and avail your tactfulness.
I meant to say that you sparked my thoughtfulness.
Consider that I'm always aware of your level of attentiveness.

I can tell from our relationship around gleefulness.
Even if I die, you will have a piece of my warm-heartedness.

Know that I am filled with light
Reflecting off of your heart, your soul
Your imagination and inspiration
Your kindness, hope and more…
Your glow of gladness soothing me
With sensations, like whispers,
Grazing my spirit with their laughter
Coloring me in hues of lavender
Happily illuminating my loving nature
With peppering raindrops of hope

Know that I am filled with faith
Flowing through me in waves of grace
Like music playing across the way
Smiling at the promise of kindness
Drifting along, like a tide, waiting
For the moment when it can rise
Swiftly sharing its complete truth
The wish for one moment of self-assurance
Breaking the barriers of pain and worry
Praising the One who is always worthy

Know that I am your thoughts
Longing to color your heart in truth
Invaluable and intense and inspiring
Alive in ways that I can’t explain
With silence that screams of miracles
Wonders to sustain your heart
Through warmth, hope, love that lives
To give a part of me to your thoughts
Where I yearn to live eternally waiting
For your prompt to give my embrace

Sweet love of mine, know that I am
Filled with a spirit of kind-heartedness
That loves you with compassion that breaths
Exhilaration, imagination, self-confidence
Love that breaths intimacy and insight
Laughter, truth and complete devotion
To the heart that has taken me in and given
Safety from harm, light that rises at dawn
Starry skies in the night, echoes of warmth
Welcoming me home to a heart that is family

Sweet love of mine… You are my home!

Smile

Sense of humour, elevating our spirits
Musing over the simple things in life, rejoicing at what we find
Imagination stimulated, childlike, seeing the wonders in life
Light heartedness, laughing at one’s self!
Everything as it is meant to be, smiling, enjoying, the gift of life

Premium Member To My Parents In Heaven

Years go by and memories dim and fade
Many, once so close and familiar are gone
Most of them have faded into oblivion
But those of whom one can never forget, stay on

Oh, dear Appa (Dad) and Amma (Mom) in Heaven
As the days of Christmas draw near, memories parade
Not in an orderly queue, but in a jumbled mass
And your loving faces, before our eyes, flash, and fade.

Leaving inerasable memories, you departed in silence.
When sick or unwell you always wrapped us up in prayer
Now you stay in a place untouched by stain or strain.
From there, you watch over us with tender care.

When festive days arrive, we miss you so badly
Though days and years pass, we feel you so near
But we know, you cannot come down from your sphere
To be with us on this day to give us cheer

So, transcending the boundaries of space and time
Our hearts rise high to your loving presence
Where you stay secure from all sadness and sorrow
And abide with your Heavenly Father in perpetual jubilance

We see you celebrating Christmas with Jesus
Along with the ethereal throng in great joy and mirth
Kneeling by the throne surrounded by angels and seraphs
Listening to their celestial choir, glorifying the holy birth

On this festive day, we send you warm Christmas wishes
Wrapped in memories of the times we were so deeply loved
With loads of gratitude for the warmth you gave to last a lifetime
With an assurance that we will live up to the ideals you avowed

Though gone, every day we feel your presence,
Especially when lonely and lost, unable to find our way.
At the rim of the far-flung sky, we see you as two stars,
Blazing our path with the trail of light you shed on our way!

Being together for long 57 years, as man and wife
Far from perfect, yet complementary they fared.
One’s weakness compensated by the other’s strength
One’s rigidness indemnified by the other’s light heartedness
Graced with a rich sprinkle of compassion and piety,
With their strict adherence to the lofty ideals of life,
They set the solid foundation for our value system.)

Villanelle: Wander not into a land where the indigene’s indolent

Wander not into a land where the indigene’s indolent
Likely as not the country will be run by interlopers
Open-heartedness is often a cover for self-bemusement

The first signs crop up when lax morals make him relent
Shuts an eye to alien antics on his wife and his daughters
Wander not into a land where the indigene’s indolent

When foie gras vacation rather than who runs government
Or the long weekend pont makes the migrant caretakers
Open-heartedness is often a cover for self-bemusement

Fanatics from dictatorships money-minters from the Levant
Drugsters* outsourced from banana republics’ carpetbaggers
Wander not into a land where the indigene’s indolent

And lo! Ere the cock crows every face in the pram’s sun-burnt
In one generation one-third pray through tongue-twisters
Open-heartedness is often a cover for self-bemusement

In two generations three-fourths take over government
Pimps drug-addicts loafers wage war with spiritual gangsters
Wander not into a land where the indigene’s indolent
Open-heartedness is often a cover for self-bemusement

A Destiny To Meet a Humble Boss

The Grace of Allah be with you always
That fateful day, we met in the Philippines
A short interview and you said okay
An agreement that was a way to begin

Appreciate your kindness like brother
No barrier between us and for all
True humility brings you closer to others
Promotes well-being is your ultimate goal

Many times I stepped to ask for your aid
You stepped up to be prudent and sensible
Always speak in gentle tone and well said
Your leadership is such exceptional

To me, to others you are a true friend
Your kind-heartedness will always remind

How I Will Change the World

I saw society drain away to the gutter on the street
How I wished I could help the disheartened ones we meet
Everyone effected by the thoughtless acts of disregard.
Passion within to change this soulless way, how avant-garde

Needing to pursue my passion for the greater good
Never fearing the negativity upheld, loved ones would
Joining an organisation that gave me a grant to make the change
The power to be compassionate to humanity in a grand range.

Polished boots, razor sharp creases, keen from the first moment
Wanting to change the lives of everyone, even if it’s atonement
Years on, finding out its money for the same old rope
Hungry for fulfilment, I need to stop this fear, and give all hope

Communities fearing the violence from demoralised youths
“Nothing to do” is the reply, none of these words are home truths
Street culture, such a powerful way of life, this is all they know
Searched by authority, a much needed but negative show

My Kind-heartedness was passion, I’m now in a moral debate
Supporting victims of crime, but wanting to put suspects straight
Humanity is a single word, so we must help one another to stand tall
This is now my agenda, dedication to build a safer future for all

Endless hours writing to governing bodies to see my radical approach
Youth engagement with sports, that’s where I became a dodge ball coach.
Promotion in the field of sports to brake down barriers with kids
Work will never end with constant battles with funding all those bids

My life is dedicated now to change the world, as we all know it
This pure heart is with the victims of crime, and the ones who commit
We must guide the misguided as they only see what we show them
Wholeheartedness, lets do this together, or we are the ones to condemn

The Last Days

THE LAST DAYS

There is no time left to waste time
Too much time is not enough time
The day came when the beginning met with its end
Accountability denied any option; every means to present its end
There came a fair warning; we all became aware of what is to come
We all clinged to necessity as all other important things are gone.

There is no great escape; the sky seems to be falling down
The hard-heartedness of men melted as nobody wants to go down
Faith denied many hope as hope became hopeless
The riches of men can’t save them; all are the same and nobody the less
A tempest in a coffee cup; the seas are wide awake and furious
To sweep out what remain of the world and all there is that is precious.

So many prophecies and revelations about the last day
Expectations ignored, and warnings unheeded; just enjoying the present day
What is to come will come; nobody wants to worry the worries of tomorrow
The days of today is hard to live; struggling to live to see tomorrow
Truth revealed another truth as the mirror reflects reality
We all have our last days; don’t waste time waiting for eternity.

Humanity

Humankind should show benevolence to those in pain
Unselfish concern needs to be put first when kindness is in need
Mercy and generosity may fulfill one’s daydream of being accepted
Altruism with clemency can reveal a true desire to be understood
Nations should coexist in permissiveness and gleam with righteousness
Inside everyone of us is a light ready to shine with exuberant inner beauty
Tenacity and perseverance should be showered with soft-heartedness
You and me should bestow compassion to those deserving of love

Own It

Innocence has its travails of
Losing the true identity of
Being touchy versus being sensitive.

I ruined many beautiful moments
Forsook my joys to reel in entanglements
Of lively public bantering as being abusive

A mild joke was a jab of cold heartedness
Brooding for days over the other's rudeness
Undervaluing true love by being hyperreactive

I left old love for foreign shores
Not on basis of personal wars
But reasons much more elaborative

Long distances and free of heart
I downsized my kiddish touchiness as advert
My heart became ruminatively introspective

I realised no man could live up to his demeanour and heart
A reversal of attitude transformed me with better art
I pined for his undemanding nature, now so laudative

I returned with a list of do's and dont's in my small fist
Loaded with more love for my compulsive humorist
Being a little calmative, relationships become more attractive

Pay To Play

PAY TO PLAY

Playgrounds and parks as children freely play
Voices raised in excitement – beautiful day
Slides, swings and colorful jungle-gyms
Happy-go-lucky, light hearted they brim

Adolescents planning a weekend ahead
Finally a break from regimental brigaded dread
Nightclubs and parties, dates determined to pursue
Popularity a price slowly uncovered—lost virtue

Responsibility in adulthood arrives without warning
Marriages, mortgages—apprehensions start dawning
Climbing corporate ladders-- morale reaching height
Freedom, light-heartedness—play comes at a price

Premium Member Forgiveness Plea

Luke 23:34 of the Scriptures, expressed this truth clearly:
“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”
Grateful am I for that divine plea of my Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ
for erring sinners like me.
What a compassionate supplication of a supreme God!
Such exemplifies how it is to reach-out to someone
who offended, angered and hurt me in the God-entrusted ministries
I'm a part of as a volunteer care-giver and life-builder.

Here am I humbled, humiliated, helped, and hoisted
in the exercise of genuine forgiveness required by the holy Pardoner.
Yes, I’m humbled as I admit my inability
to forgive absolutely, readily and completely
…the street child who called me a “fool”
while I was teaching him with my utmost best;
…the orphaned boy who would steal and lie about it,
despite being provided with his needs;
…the abandoned teen who reported me as a tyrant tormentor,
when in fact he was given a gentle discipline
packed with cheer-filled clemency;
…the arrogant pupil who disrespectfully accused me
as a lousy instructor, embarrassing me.

Indeed, I’m humiliated as the Lord reveals to me
my hypocrisy, half-heartedness, and haughtiness
in granting forgiveness along faith's fervor.
Thus, with the Holy Spirit’s conviction and power,
I confess my iniquities while persevering to overcome and forsake them.
Now, I’m helped in my desire to forgive with graciousness
based on the God’s imparted love to me,
bearing in mind Ephesians 4:32,
“…forgiving one another, even as God
for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

Praising the Lord, I’m hoisted by God’s mercy
in seeking for His forgiveness for my very own sins
while worshipfully acknowledging His admonition
asserted by His Word in I John 1:9:
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Rusted Steel

The vast array of colored lights illuminated the jovial faces of the youthful teens
As Ms. Durmstrang antiquely waltzed with Mr. Chestwood.
I sat alone as I watched my velvet red date swiftly fly through the crowd,
being swept off her feet from every well-dressed, cordial gentlemen.
The cushioned chair was soft, though.
It provided me with all the comfort and support I needed.
I didn’t care that she left,
I didn’t care that my feeble heart was shattered once again.
So I left.

“She can find her own ride home,” was a mantra of mine on the way to the car.
I sat for awhile.
I don’t know why, but I did.
A strong aroma of roses plagued my nose,
Swelling up from my blood-red boutonniere.
The blood-red boutonniere Valerie deceived me with.
“Why am I crying? I never cry.”
I drove home before my emotions could consume me further,
listening to melodic tunes to calm my inner most concerns.

When I arrived home it was nearly midnight,
and right above me were thousands of stars mocking me with their vibrant glow.
All the stars, nestled in the ambient twilight, sitting, staring.
“Shut up!” I screamed as insanity pumped vigorously through
my veins.
The brown hue of my eyes were flooded with fiery rancor.

I couldn’t take it. I couldn’t take the pressure.
I couldn’t take the cold-heartedness.
I couldn’t take the aching.
I couldn’t take being mocked.
I couldn’t take being, being
Used.

Used for my father’s money,
Used as a punching bag,
Used for my empathetic ways,
Used for my unwavering ability to never say no.

I sat in the dew covered grass, illumed by the pale moonlight,
and as I gazed into the endless eyes of the sky, I became empowered.
Perhaps with my own fear, or eccentric thoughts, but I felt electric.

“No!” I screamed.
“I said no! I will not go to prom with you!
No, I hate football!
No, you cannot punch me!
No, I don’t drink!
No, dad, you cannot hit me!
No, mom, you cannot get wasted tonight!
No, God, you cannot keep me here any longer!
No. No.”

I did it you know.
I stayed true to my word.
I did it.

Rusted Steel,
I said no to life.

Freedom

Man needs many things in life:
Food, house, children and wife;
But the thing which is needed the most
And could be given away at no cost
Is man’s independence and freedom
N’ over him his own heart’s kingdom.
Freedom of just body is not all;
One needs also freedom of soul.
But that too doesn’t suffice at all,
Nor that’s the man’s life’s goal;
To make good countries and kingdoms,
There are needed likewise many freedoms:
Freedom from the shackles of ignorance,
Freedom from unwelcome interference,
Freedom from narrow-mindedness,
Freedom from black-heartedness
Freedom from the chains of illiteracy,
Freedom from egoism and hypocrisy,
Freedom from darkness of minds,
Freedom from hatred’s winds.
Take these points for God’s sake
Get up my nation! Get awake!
