The Heartbeat of My Life

Mama don't take my breath away

My only chance to love and play

I know you're hurting I can tell

Mama don't give up on me as well

Mama I long to touch your face

Feel the beauty of your grace

I dream one day to see you smile

Mama don't ever say Goodbye

Comfort me with the beauty of flowers
where the sunlight beams dance warmly supreme

Devoid of any tears, cruelty or violence
a veil falls away opening petals kiss deeply surrendering

Seasoned between the vertical light and darker clouds
it becomes hard to breathe in your shade breathless sighs

Love does not change even if the earth is frozen over
but as you melt into the mind sweet honey dew springs

This night is all souls night, you can not fail to feel it
residing inside the eyes fountain of forever youth

For the glance of one gentle heart, she will be your bride
radiating warm flames glow anointing preciously the union

To share along the way, feathers from Heaven every day
touching gently the softest satin holds you an angel always divine

Premium Member A Star's Heartbeat

Somewhere in the vast array
of heaven's wonders on display
so high above my head I see
one star seems shining just for me.

So drawn am I to this bright star
that glitters beauty from afar
I cannot turn away from it.
White fire the Goddess Night has lit!

It burns into my soul, and I
am drifting up into the sky.
I melt into its lustrous heat
and lo! I hear a star's heartbeat!

Premium Member Honeysuckle Heartbeat

You bloomed in heartbeats of cream daisy,
longing to be born like breaths of
gold honeysuckle petals,
but, when fate smeared silence
on twinkling throbs of
innocence, life
sighed in crisp
embers
of
faith
as your
feet basked in
peace above earth.
Weaving shine with a
pearly smile, you swirled in
a snow-white lily's soul when
heaven melted in moonstruck sight;
I'll miss you, beyond love, my flower.

one strong heartbeat that pumps and carries oxygen gives life; when it stops

*Its a controversial subject. However when one heart stops another can live through organ donation.

The Heartbeat of God

High on a hillside,
in the middle
of the marigolds
and the meadowlarks,
 I sit, stilling my soul.
my fingers feel God's
cool, green grass.

I press my fingers
down into the soft,
moist earth.
The palm of my hand
starts to throb.
As if I am
touching
the heartbeat
of God.

Premium Member A Lovers' Heartbeat Anacreontic Verse

Timeless lyrical,
compassionate dance,
a shifting effect
of light and color,
the glowing full moon
conducts in folk tune.
Indispensable
distant humble stars
spring a russet, sign.
White unfolded wings
flitter wayward round
a rhythmic beating
in shadow, chill, air.
The spike tuft ears owl
melodies hooting,
influence passion.
A lovers' heartbeat
keeping steady rhythm.
A starlight guides the
way by windswept night.

Your pulse is my sonata,
It’s perfect music on a sheet,
Your music sings to my whole life,
A musical heartbeat,

Sometimes it’s a lone concerto,
Sometimes a gothic choir,
But every time it pulls me in,
And ignites all my desire,

Your mark, your stamp, your signature,
The autograph of your heart,
Your heartbeat is my seductive drug,
It tells me where to park,

And that is beside you, here and now,
It’s here I’d love to stay,
With your symphony of a heartbeat,
Every single day.

Rainbow Heartbeat

Pour me a rainbow
let it float on the sea
As it flows from your heart
and become a part of me

Yellow to brighten
any cloudy day
As upon the waves
it effortlessly plays

Red born of desire
undulating motion
Salty on my tongue
a passionate potion

Yes, pour me a rainbow
let it float on the sea
As it flows from your heart
and becomes part of me

Blue as bright as the sky
a twin on the water
Twinkling refractions
Poseidon’s daughter

Green like in a garden
ripples tickle my feet
Liquid luxurious
a horizon to greet

Orange to tantalise
on waters once pale
Jack O'Lantern splendour
intertwining with whales

Let me savour your rainbow
as it floats on the sea
Flowing from your heart
becoming part of me

Indigo intuition
free flowing crystal clear
Your gift upon the sea
that draws me near

Violet imagination
A vision complete
Oceans of possibilities
Your rainbow heartbeat.

Heartbeat Solitude

Heartbeat solitude

It is these silent moments
prior to the sunrise awakening
my part of the world,
when dew is still wet on the lawn,
not a peep or a chirp
or a lingering echo is heard,
morning winds keep their
whispers to themselves
and darkness creates the
final quiet serenity before
the hustle and bustle
of the day begins,
that I enjoy most

For, it is in this solitude
that the only sound I hear
is that of my heart,
beating solely for you

One Heartbeat Away

when the words barely flow
trickling as the winter stream
and
thoughts cheat the night
tossing and turning
not coming out right

that's when I look to you
picturing
those soft dreamy eyes
undressing me
that silken smooth hair
dangling
upon broad shoulders

in the sweet scent of comfort
my heart flutters
my mind frees
and
words flow with ease
knowing
you're only one heartbeat away

We were born into tribes
cinctured by bonds and praxis
welded by ambits and dictums
an eyeless chasm.

But scope a sounder view
just under the shimmering surface
and the outcome will be luculent
our parallels often outshine our oddities.

Our blood is crimson
all of us slipshod weeps
all of us longing for love
all of us fail to face our fears.

Our zeal fashion fetching flow
our souls seek seraphic symbiosis
we all itch for a warm welcome
and achieve startling accolades.

But, we build walls,
and draw lines in the sand,
we judge hinged on appearance,
and ignore the outstretched hand.

But if we may just foresee,
beyond the color of our skin,
and the language we spree,
we may find kin.

Because in the recesses of our souls
within our deep cores
all of us are noxious
rhapsodic around finding fulfillment.

So let's slip away,
from the chains of tribalism,
and gasp our kinships,
with love and hope.

For only then,
can we for real unite,
and transcend our differences,
Into a world of light.

Beneath My Heartbeat

My tranquil world is trembling
with sublimated anticipation,
I’m losing my footing of romantic resistance
Body shaking is convulsive proof:
equilibrium quaking; off balance, I deduce
Mind trapped in love —
can’t wiggle out ... can’t squirm loose
My feeble objections
are falling through the roof
Wave after wave
moves swiftly beneath my heartbeat
I’m tumbling head over heels,
landing silver rush hard at your feet
And your avalanche of kisses
are beginning to smother me
Only your searchlight of desire
can maiden eyes see
how far I fell ...
As waves of your love
has buried me deep
Wave upon wave,
an earthquake beneath my heartbeat
Save me with a yes,
baby come vow rescue me
