Pour me a rainbow
let it float on the sea

Yellow to brighten
any cloudy day
As upon the waves
it effortlessly plays
Red born of desire
undulating motion
Salty on my tongue
a passionate potion
Yes, pour me a rainbow

Blue as bright as the sky
a twin on the water
Twinkling refractions
Poseidon’s daughter
Green like in a garden
ripples tickle my feet
Liquid luxurious
a horizon to greet
Orange to tantalise
on waters once pale
Jack O'Lantern splendour
intertwining with whales
Let me savour your rainbow
as it floats on the sea
Flowing from your heart
becoming part of me
Indigo intuition
free flowing crystal clear
Your gift upon the sea
that draws me near
Violet imagination
A vision complete
Oceans of possibilities
