Best Give Up Poems
Keep making progress
Learn from your losses
Embrace new challenges you'll face
You will always have options
God gave you two legs
So you would'nt be stuck like a starfish
Don't give up the fight
Vs 1
I know that you have suffered in the silence,
(but) I never knew that you would go this far...
I thought I understood your pain...
now memories...are all that remain...
now I look to the stars
Vs 2
I see in others eyes- they too feel the pain
I pray for them, that it won't be too late
I pray for them, that the day will come
when suffering in silence-comes undone
and no-one is to blame
Chorus
Oh, I know well, all that you're feeling
I can validate, the emptiness you feel inside
I'm the proof that life's worth living
so please, don't give up the fight
no, no, don't give up the fight
Vs 3
I know for you, it's hard to see your beauty
all the love that dwells inside of you
Maybe, I can be a friend,
someone you can trust and can depend
to tell you the truth
Vs 4
You should know, that it takes time to get free
to conquer all the conflict in your mind
The tangled web of tragedy,
need not be your final destiny....
happiness you'll find.
Chorus
Oh, I know well, all that you're feeling
I can validate, the emptiness you feel inside
I'm the proof that life's worth living
so please, don't give up the fight
no, no, don't give up the fight
I know that you have suffered...
in the silence,
(but)
I never knew,
that
you
would
go
this
far...

Poets, do not give up
Whatever you write
Whatever you spit out
A genius will be up
To it somewhere. Someone
Will understand the tone
Of your voice, the hieroglyph
Of your thoughts, the myth
Of your vision and the dactyl of your wit
Someone will be up to it. The perennial spirit
Of your global view is astounding
Although few comprehend your writing
And the mechanical process of your brain
No need to call a surrealist surgeon
Everything is absolutely normal
Only the Poets fully comprehend
The intricacies of the supernatural
Being, who is not afraid to make a stand
Poets, do not give up
You see things from top
To bottom and from the wrong-side-up
There’s no need to bring a novel map
An updated or an archaic GPS
Many Poets fully comprehend the methodized mess.
P.S. In the memory of all Poets...

Don’t give up at seventeen
should your world seem cruel and mean
people grow and they mature
uncertainty will be made sure
Don’t give up at thirty-one
when the world’s run out of fun
babies grow and debt recedes
one day, you’ll serve all your needs
Don’t give up at fifty-two
when they’ve all run out on you
Children won’t forget their past
as they seek their world at last
Don’t give up at sixty-nine
though it seems you’ve crossed the line
Silver days refine the heart
reflect, and then make that new start
Don’t give up at eighty-three
still you breathe, there’s much to see
love and spirit never die
Someday, you will find out why
You do not have to scatter all your light
Upon the darkened road and walk alone,
Nor leave behind the tenderness of home
To seek a distant, half-imagined sight.
The heart was not designed for endless loss,
Nor meant to burn itself to prove its flame;
It keeps its wonder quietly the same
Through seasons crossed and rivers wandered across.
What waits for you is not beyond your breath,
Nor hidden in some unreachable sky—
It lives within the courage not to die
A little more with every dream’s small death.
You need not trade your laughter for the stars,
Nor sell your peace for crowns of broken gold.
The truest treasures are not bought nor sold,
They bloom where you already are.
So walk, but keep your gentleness in hand.
So hope, but keep your roots within the ground.
What you are seeking may be waiting now
In the soft miracle you understand.
You do not have to give up everything—
Only the fear that says you never can.
When life gets hard and you want to hide
and things start to get out of hand
when time ticks slower and slower
it's time to rise up and stand
When there are more questions than answers
and things don't go your way
when troubles seem like they'll forever last
remember tomorrow is another day
When the light doesn't shine your way
and your at wit's end
when all seems lost never to be found
just trust in a friend
Tripping through fields of daisies
when you want to dance
plucked by that thorny rose
while smelling her fragrance
When all hope is lost and you're down on your luck
when the sharks circle around
and your boat is about to sink
that's when true friends can be found
Don't give up hope, desire, or trust in man
This friend will be there to take hold your hand
You must have heard
People say
You can't do that right
Do what you may!
Cry a little, try a little
Walk an extra mile
Do not give up your smile
They judge your actions
Repress your thoughts
Mock your failures
Asking questions of all sorts
Explain a little, fight a little
Have your moments of solitude
Do not give up your attitude
Achieving success doesn't always mean
To make an influence
It is to still strive harder
And not to lose your essence
Fall a little, crawl a little
But do get up with your head held high
Do not give up till you reach the sky
It may happen so
Your desires may fall at your feet
Lose not your hope
Make sky your limit
Wish a little, aim a little
Though you may fall apart at the seams
Do not give up your dreams.....
I was swinging from my glass chandelier
Lost my grip and landed smack on my rear
Banged my head and blood poured out of my ear
I screamed expletives nobody should hear!
The ache in my bum was very severe
Sobbing with pain I shed a salty tear
An ambulance was called, it was soon here
The driver said 'oh not you again dear ..
you need to stay sober and keep off beer…
It’s the second time you’ve done this this year'!

No matter what circumstances, but be proud.
Faith is the main of them all,
Let them talk what they want,
But never give them what they want.
Having nothing is not a threat,
But it is the strength.
Never be afraid of looking at it,
But be afraid of possessing it.
They say background does not determine destiny,
But you do, determine your destiny.
Do not deny being poor,
Demand to be rich , but in love.
Okuhlula amadoda kuyabikwa,
Never let your thoughts to kill you,
Because indoda ayikhali.
Try to share your story with them.
Never let oppressors to ruin your reputation,
But let them to build your inspiration.
You could be ugly in transformation,
But you are better in reflection.
More than million words that could
determine your background,
But not more than ten words that could
determine your future.
I will not be another statistic
out on the street without a dime to my name
I will not be another out cast
Who can't go into a store with being looked down on
I will not be someone's deadbeat baby mama
My kids will have a dad who is married to me
I will not be your excuse
For every wrong thing that goes wrong in your life
I will not be misused
Like some rag to blow your nose
I will not be abused
Like the constant alcohol you drink
I will not be the victim
of the bottomless, self-righteous world i live in today
I will be my own person
standing strong and tall above those who try to bring me down
I will be the painting
to look at for comfort
I will be the leader
that leads my people to the great victory that they need to be in
I will be a lover
One who will cherish my husband like no other
I will be a great mother
to my kids forever and always
I will be forever standing tall
no matter what this world brings me
I will turn this world upside down
AND I WILL NOT GIVE UP
Sinking in a deep abyss where hope feels lost,
And dreams slowly dissolve , counting not the cost.
Behold there stands a spirit, undeterred, unshaken,
Let your spirit soar as your passion is awakened.
Through the many trials and when doubts assail,
And tears flow freely like countless raindrops frail,
Be a beacon of strength, with an unwavering flame,
Don't look back but let your dreams remain the same.
The road maybe long and winding as obstacles unfold,
But deep within there's a fire of truths untold.
A spirit that's unyielding as it rises and take its stand,
Ushering the dawn of a new day , for greatness is at hand.
And in those dire moments with burdens seem so vast,
When voices echo all is lost, and time is moving too fast,
With sweat on brow, let your tears be mixed with grit,
With a strong resolve, let the world know, your spirit won't quit.
For in the deep recesses of your heart, lies a warrior's might,
A great will to conquer all and rise in the night,
To boldly face the odds with courage that is so untamed,
And a gateway to your destiny of dreams not maimed.
When doubts whisper softly and beg you to yield,
And darkness encroaches all round making wounds unhealed,
Summon your soul for all its worth and let your resilience awake,
Dare to hold on with all your might for dreams are at stake.
And when this world seems to forget and cast you away,
Remember that you have the strength, you need to face each day.
Don't be discouraged for not even a minute for within you lies,
The power to soar to new heights and reach the skies.
So stand tall with purpose amidst life's cruel tempestuous sea,
And with unwavering fortitude , let your spirit be free,
Embrace every challenge that rears its head,
Don't give up! never back down, press on instead.
Bidding tearful adieu,
I sat on his grave,
And his spirit stood beside me,
Consoling me to return home.
As I opened eyes to my conscious ,
Ghosts encircled me in black attire,
Their orange faces wore a smile,
Greeted with shriek sounds they proffered.
No life to be seen in full moon,
Not even as dark clouds passed by,
Palpitations that anyone could hear,
Chest went airless for a minute,
Eyes were dry and reflexes dampened,
Shiver that followed down the spine.
Scare of dying never before,
Traversed my nerves to a faint,
Darkness all over and silence of a mourn,
I found him standing next to me,
Both breathing into the same air,
That was a farewell to my life !!

Stress arrives uninvited,
And comes empty handed too.
It monopolizes all of your time,
And demands all attention from you.
It's a guest that comes and stays too long,
So just don't let him in.
You are the one who stands at the door,
So refuse to open to him.
Instead open up to the blessings,
That can fill your life with joy.
Don't listen to worry, confusion,
That words that discourage employ.
Discouragement, disappointment,
Are mere road blocks impeding your way;
But there's always a way 'round or through it,
Don't give up and you'll win the day.
Lift up your gaze to the future,
And all of the blessings it brings,
For those who persist and continue,
To strive through the winter toward Spring.

Vibrant presence, blissful and free”

Mistakenly believing
We are this body-mind
We remain in grip of ego’s bind
Until from void, clear truth cleaving
We’re here, we indulge, then pause
Web of thought spirals spawned
That with cloak of love donned
We see soul growth as life’s cause
Pendulum moves left, to go right
Stillness in motion
Sans ego commotion
Granting us here and now clear sight
Open heart and unclenched fist
Making ourselves porous
Manifests within, a bliss torus
If we but cease to resist

Whenever you feel like giving up
Do not tell them you've had enough
Just look in their eyes
And try not to cry
Keep on dreaming you'll never give up
The horror filled nightmares
The solumn filled dreams
Not knowing what to do
Your stuck in between
Keep on fighting and never give up...
