“we look for that that does not come and go
it cannot be organic form, subject to decay
thoughts and beliefs are fickle, how little we know
yet come what may, our inner child continues to play”

The 'umbilical cord',
hereby symbolic,
its severance
where
initiated,
a soul of three,
and then much more.

Growing up was an
in-depth shared
furtherance,
whereupon,
directives were encountered,
either embraced or tossed aside.

Time and again, instant moments,
encouraging considerations,
imbued ponderance,
whereto,
we tether ourselves
to a sizeable pole of justifications.

Hail to a fitness club, or a cab to a McDonald's,
intermittent intervals, slim down or fatten up,
choice batters about a pole that remains,
until life expectance,
leans awkward,
wherefore
for time indulgence,
slacks a major facet as the pole evolves minor,
for one's immediate concerns, lies elsewhere, a priority.

All the while, the pole was steadfast but never silent
taking a backseat to the urgencies of the moment
significance tallies the hours near,
wherein
one now realizes that time is fleeting,
wonders how one's pole has shaped itself, was it worth their while.

At that instant, open their eyes
and see the poles that are
standing around them
bedside so they can
measure their
worth truly.
Where
we mete
out ourselves
to whom we truly
Blessed Assurance.

Farside Otherworldly Lovers - - Dedicated To Rick Keeble, You Asked For It

He was howling at the moon,
it was mid June's heyday, she
was naive beyond reproach
her innocently lit chiaroscuro
made him hunger all the more,
til one day she let down her guard
'neath an impatient violaceous sky
drinking effervescently blissed wine
kissed him with rosé blushed lips

But his instincts betrayed him,
devouring the petite blossom
of her youth, teeth bared,
eyes glaring crimson, her stardust smile
no deterrent, appetite’s salacious intent,
stomach growling nocturnal desires,
claws scarring milk-paint skin
till groans released vibrations
felt ‘pon shadowed earth
shattering movements

ground-breaking momentum
sent horizons a' rocking
motioning to constellations
as they synchronously liquefied
tilting universes' on their axis
a little death's furtherance
uttering god's hallelujahs
lit beyond obscure sighs

Now two silhouettes,
midst harmonious moaning
 echo upon auras' illusions
   cresting lofty hilltops
can be seen this night and all others
when the skies turn dark
and celestial bodies' tumult
simultaneously ignite thunder,
diffusing smatterings' explicit
flight surrendered furthermost
 heart-stricken otherworldly lovers

The Ides of March

Spun spells pummel our Earth ... as a Sun scanned absence swallow,
vacuumed blues taxes light once deemed eternal ... plus righteousness,
escapism from existence ... edges evacuation,

Birth ere the latter days ... ventured the laurels that were Rome,
the incarnation of iniquity ... masquerade innocence,
like clovers and thistles ... lure eyes above the common grass,

Furtherance besought ... midst tossed bone for multi contentment,
parades that paralyze souls ... usurp minds to sweeping abandon,
celebratory hails the seasoned ... emblem of power,

The gods and goddesses' palms of warring pulse ... 'tis peacetime,
nonetheless ... tributes adorn the temples of Mars in abundance,
'tis time of awash hands of mere grimes ... toxic suffers freely,

Citizens housed upon Palatine ... the triumphant hill,
felicitations honorable legions ... protectors of Rome,
promissory constants ... declared Remus per Romulus,

Roman Senate played a chess game ... Caesar kept them in check,
every move was scrutinized ... made vulnerable and powerless,
autocracy trumps democracy ... seeds gangocracy,

Plans are planted within plans ... schemes are shrouded inside schemes,
the beast entrails read ominously ... Spurina forewarns the marked,
timely debts to be paid in full ... matters to be settled,

At the Courts of Pompey ... the assembly awaits for him,
armorless donning senatorial garb ... metals pierce a man,
till mute ... last recalls *haruspex, "Beware the Ides of March".

*Haruspex; reading of omens from the entrails of sacrificed animals. The subject of Shakespeare's title play came from his thorough accounting of Plutarch's writings.

Don'T Regret This Life

Every moment that is taken
Has a consequence inside
You can leave or you can take it
In the furtherance of life

You can hold onto your actions
Or let them take a hold of you
Water or drain your passion
Don't let regret be the path you choose

The time you save you give away
At some other point in time
If you don't use it then you'll lose it
Never again to find

With the time you're spending here
Consider it a loan
Write this on your epitaph
Don't regret the path you're on

Life is made up of choices
You either sit out or you dance
That one song may not come back on
To give you another chance

When life asks for volunteers
What are the words you'll say
Stand your ground and do it now
Don't regret your life away

Words

there's a bridge that devides the fold amidst the tops of an angry mob for sure
there's a taste of an amazing mix of melodic tones deafening in the current
there's a place where dwellers rest to take a part in the test
there's a sun beneath the moon that gives way to cadence in the late of June

through a sunset peak we have sprung a leak inside taking a little peak
through wandering eyes we can lay hold of a surprise amidst the lies
each new day there is a game to be played got it made in the shade
each new course springs true with love sheltered abve the dew

inside we often hide through the rustling hills the cheap thrills it pays the bills
hearken onto its beckoning plow sound the alarm for words to charm
come to the sea drop off all forms of negativity its in your sweet destiny
listen to the birds chirping outside on the lawn look at the lonely fawn

words can take us to each heightened place make no mistake
reflect on the good dismiss what's bad rejoice and be glad
each turn you take make no mistake its tempered with fate
our great escape going west young man my faithful friend with whom you can depend

in the morning there will be reflections sought to the extreme on the scene
we have grown with a grateful heart to impart the furtherance of all goodness
we must resist the evil doer and cling to what is good
think good thoughts of such as Goldi Locks and the tropics

words can create a lasting void to how you really feel another chance at lets make a deal
behind the squeeky wheel we can trust words to be secure as our daily bread
words can bring a smile to a lonesome child to cherish in great riches
light the inner flame of resistance by given a chance

If I Were a Dictator-2

Not allow politics to pollute the populace
With issues like regionalism and language
Permit free movement of men and goods
Connect the country with tree-lined roads.

Deal ruthlessly with anti-national elements
Issue stern warning to all political animals
Mischief by them may attract prison cells
Or deport them to far off Siberian jungles.

Corruption eating away the vitals of nation
Shall be dealt with the deterrent castigation
Persuade the people to stay honest and just
Remain steadfast to the ideals from the start.

Would certainly encourage sports and games
Without discrimination between the sports
Not allow them to do things other than play
Push them to perform for the nation anyway.

Two areas namely agriculture and defense
Are important, I believe for fast furtherance
Linking science & technology for advance
And lead the state to grandiose deliverance.

Maintain cordiality with every other nation
Always upholding the dignity of my nation
Neither yielding nor bothering is my dictum
With pledge absolute to protect the sanctum.

Thus is my agenda for action instantaneous
To free the motherland from evils infectious
To hoist her on the pedestal vividly glorious
If by chance, I become the dictator gracious.

Premium Member The Softness of a Country Rose For Mary Jo Hoose

A stranger lifted me up today
While I was lost in my own self-centered universe,
Silently crying about nobody else reading, commenting or caring
About anything I’ve said,
Considering myself poetically dead.

I’ve been more concerned with the encroaching materialistic
Responsibilities, requirements and concerns of living
Instead of turning my attentions outward towards others
And lifting myself out of this whirl pool of self-pity
Into the ocean of giving.

When to my wondrous delight dark turned to light
As out of seemingly nowhere a fellow poet spoke gently and composed:
“Your poetry is like the softness of a country rose.”
And while I know not where she lives and breathes
This furtherance of feeling was shared with me:
“I too am blue as sky is gray and nothing more will do today
Except ethereal connections are how we poets play.”

I was more than moved, to say the least
How this gypsy out of cyber space
Renewed my poetic vow:
To speak the truth simple, plain and clear
As I know how.
And how
My words and hers connected
Through the vacuum of space and time
Is a story for another day and rhyme.

Until then, I stand transformed
By those few words she engendered –
And would give anything to tell her
How sweet and kind her words were rendered.

The First Argument

With the onset of earth
man became birthed
perplexed, he pondered his purpose
swamped with wildlife
fish and birds rife
am I meant to run a circus?

I'll need entertainers
and animal trainers
a tent constructed of kelp
moreover, an audience
to add due ambiance
where to start? "Oh, heaven help!!"

"Howdy there
was that a prayer?
Please call me Master or my pet name King
May I call you Adam
short for Macadam
the nickname has a rather cute ring."

"Master, is my purpose
to start a circus?"
"Of sorts but not quite, progenitor ace
I'll gift you a wife
for furtherance of life
but pray don't fall foul of my grace?"

"Nice round to my buns
but I'm still half-done
my titties are dry and flat as a deck
no ring in my bell
nuts without shell.
Will my partner be built to full spec?"

Adam and Eve
were both naive
lacking in sex education
their juicy parts hidden
and some fruit forbidden
their order was tall: create a world nation

Eve, foolish girl
gave it a whirl
succumbed to the charm of a snake
Adam lost flavor
when he sought favor
she begged off; invented the headache

Adam had to release
his lust appease
sans sex dolls and movies tinged blue
a hard task at hand
he took a firm stand
the first argument ever ensued:

"Your sordid affair's
neither here nor there
admittedly there's a hole in my pride
at being deceived
but now I'm aggrieved
my own conjugal rights are denied."

Prayer Power: Initial Sermon of Deacon Bennetta Gipson-Carroll

everyday I see people dwelling in the dark dungeons of life
and despite them trying to do the right thing they're struck with trouble and strife
felled by illness, unemployment, homelessness and all manners of despair
but I've never seen anyone who would not then kneel down in prayer

prayer is a conversation that takes place between you and God
it's when the Holy Spirit transcends and enters into your heart
it's an intimate talk with God that will change the atmosphere
it's when you call upon the grace and mercy of God to appear

prayer also has the power to alter one's behavior
we then tend to develop traits like Jesus the Christ our Savior
we learn to trust, we learn to accept, we learn not to judge
we learn to let go of negative things and to no longer hold a grudge
prayer power has the ability open eyes and hearts
to allow us to see the goodness that is the Lord our God

Now Paul and Silas were beaten and subsequently thrown into jail
but the power of their praying to the Lord God then prevailed
an earthquake shook the foundation of that dark prison cell
all the doors flew open, all the shackles fell broken it must have been like total hell
but it was only the power of prayer that had manifested
when the mighty hand of God by Paul and Silas was requested

prayer is the furtherance of the gospel that is Jesus Christ
prayer is the foundation for living a Christian life
so let the power of prayer lift you up and lift you out
of those dark dungeon situations that I was talking about
so pray until something happens, just wait and believe
that with the power of prayer the grace and mercy of God you will receive

Behold a Nation

Let's presume all is well
Though we know truly in our minds
That we are still crawling
Like a snail under its shielded carapace.

Let's presume it is well
Though we know we are not yet there
Midst nepotism and bureaucracy politics
In that which our nation is canonized

Furtherance into our country web of hierarchy
Will renounce your reliable imaginations,
Your emotional inappropriate findings,
And your shortsighted quest around time and space.

Believe it or not
Their says must be well felt
Since they are the holder
Of anything go transient tools.

In doubt or not in doubt
Mysteries will sooner than later
Unveil themselves in due time
This is not far from our reach.

Love Wins

There once was a branding woman that worked on a ranch
She ran through woods looking behind every branch
Frantic to find a tolerant male to arrange wedding plans
Her methods guaranteed producing orangutang comedians
Also, her cranky, exuberant life made the ranchers blanch

Grandmother arranged a meeting to hear Francine's rants
Knowing Granddaughter's strange ways warranted determents
Temperance must transcend the errant flagrant desires
As firebrands marked her ignorance with intolerant stares
Piranha guilt sprang up for ransom, pondering the real tyrants

The assurance of wrangling from parents with adulterant ways
Francine, and Frank, alone on the veranda during their days
Siblings needing the furtherance of love and instruction
Suffered the hindrance of rancid marital destruction
Random attention translated strangely, creating two castaways

The children, under the guidance of the grandest of grandparents
In arranged tranquil surroundings, estranged from things of ambivalence
Grown from a cankerous start into the fragrant innocence of youth
But for the lack of francs, school in France could deal better, in truth
The appearance of courtship years made the need for etiquette transparent

The end of the tale transports us two years forward
With genteel manners granting old wisdom its reward
Frank now owns the ranch where the ranchers work
And Francine branded by a marriage proposal from a local Grange clerk

Premium Member The Parable of the Rich Fool

There once was man of means, who owned land that yielded a great harvest.
Thus caused the tearing down of a small storage house, to building a greater storage house.
Over time, he spent much of it being merry, selling small portions to fill his treasure house, whilst still yielding a great harvest keeping the great storage house full beyond measure, equally so, his treasury.

*As scriptured.
Jesus was asked to be an arbiter (an adjudicator, one who settles disputes) by a young man in the midst who wanted a fair portion belonging to his brother, whom 'twas given by virtue of birthright being the first born/eldest, according to the Laws of Israel. The younger brother wanted a fair portion of that that was given to his elder brother according to the birthright Laws of Israel. Therefore, the parable was a foreboding of covetousness, that what Heaven hast blest, thou shouldn't hoard as thine own, but to the furtherance of the teachings of Heaven. For what does it purposeth, when no one knoweth the hour when their life becomes forfeit and whatever has been gained, will go to those who had not earned it by labour, nor to those who have no need of it, nor to those who will sell off all your once prized possessions, at less than its true worth and squander it all away. Accumulation of wealth, is necessary but do not imprison thine heart to it and enrich self, but instead, enrich others, both physically and spiritually.

Pachyderm Extinction Party

Pachyderm Extinction Party

Two American parties of politics each have a mascot,
Either choice as sensible as picking a sasquatch.
One a pachyderm the other a ass,
The former officially adopted by the party of impasse.

It is too bad this proboscis beast has been picked
By accident of history this party to depict;
One whose furtherance of business as usual
Will destroy this world by treating everything as a consumable.

Whether the logo represents Asian or African species is unclear;
Likely Republicans don’t know or seem not to give a tear.
Jumbos are killed every 15 seconds, extinction soon to be it’s fate,
All for powder and trinkets made from hacked off tusks sold at a high rate.

G.O.P. would not lift a finger to protect this mammoth animal
For this would infringe on rights to make capitol.
Preventing it from being hunted to the last individual
Would slow their campaign to make this world unlivable.

Always Keep the Harmony Within Our Family

There are not many things in life more important which can give us a better feeling everyday than the values in family interests.
That there is mutual respect and always consider to make decisions together without hurting each other.
The inner peace and trust to each other give us that feeling to come home in a relaxed atmosphere and everything goes with a peaceful mind.
If we have tensions or unpredictable reasons somewhere which can disrupt our desire immediately, always keep in our minds that we will soon be going to our home and rest where the harmony prevails.
Home is a good base to be dealing friendly with each other about things what bother us outside and we can communicate to find the solutions together.
Our home should be a place for preferred love and avoid aggression to respect the harmony in the family and get a solution for everything.
Of course there are disagreements in every family, but that can always be settled again in a close relationship with love, when we are wise enough to communicate with each other and overcome our issues.
Because when there is love in the family, there will always be more suitable solution among themselves, because no one wants to be sad.
Of course we all make mistakes and sometimes we do something wrong unconsciously but after a good face-to-face explanation, the peace will soon return again.
Understanding among each other is something very important in a good family and each member under the same roof must therefore have a task that they can arrange so that everyone is happy together and the parents remain as the leaders.
Many communication together in a family can give much clarity about how everyone think and the misunderstandings can be prevented in certain situations.
Can prevent wrong decisions or misunderstanding, in a bad situations due to an outside problem from a family member because then they can react quickly together to take everything under control.
Together resolve all things in the family one by one in a peaceful dialogue will always furtherance the harmony in every family.
Love our family and try to have everything under one sphere so that we can keep the harmony predominant.

I wish you a healthy life.

Natural Development

If I could sing a song of furtherance,
There would be a score and a door;
Demonstration would exemplify,
What we learn and store.

Appropriation would be reason,
And rationality would be king,
People-centred values would eschew,
Those bad characters who writhe and sin.

The road to freedom would be broad,
Paved with happiness and concern,
And justice would always return,
That which you deserved, did earn.

There would be a Named Person,
For every child in every family,
Who saw growth as a societal thing,
And not as a household anomaly.

Liberty would be understood,
To have come from the two world wars,
And information and data would be accessible:
Some personal, to others it would so have bars.

School assemblies would be humanistic,
Promoting people-centred values;
Love would be the foundation,
Of differently able equals.

Free speech would uphold the many,
Who unquestioned identities would scratch,
And valour would also be defined as,
That one-another acceptance match.

Evolution would offer hope and respect,
Set our friendships and kind way;
And all society would accommodate,
The progressive changes of the day.
