Everything Froze

a giant crystal wind chime spread its tone
teeth of icicles consumed a home
misted rain encased fence posts and rail
power lines succumb to winter’s weight and fail

vehicles in free style pirouettes
slide beneath the curtain call of white
taunted by the feigned applause of wind
stinging critic of a dance that will not end

children do the snow day dance of glee
parents know how long this day will be
until the child that lives within them all
makes and throws the season’s first snowball

streets await the toothbrush of the plow
snow men don old hats and carrot nose
angels in the snow cold trumpets blow
to celebrate the day everything froze

Premium Member Love Froze the Flame

So long, so very long, since the coal has burst to flame;
I have trained with restraint the green eyed monster cursed to flame.

For love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy ...
I would not have my love for you eternally accursed to flame.

I lost you, yes I lost you, and I often wonder if ...
jealousy displayed by me, betrayed me, was coerced to flame.

As your eyes left mine, as your soul sought hers; I burned.
Yet, love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth; it bursts to flame.

In love, for love, I banked my jealous flame in eternal ice
for love's not proud, not rude, it's not self-seeking, so I put my worst to flame.

My memories of you, a gift freely given, and so released
for I hope, and trust, we'll be blessed and love will not release the curse to flame.

Corinthians 13:4-8

Heated Ice Is Froze

Ice box in my chest, hasn't thawed out yet, last summer-
I waited for the waves of you to crash,
Go under- I assumed Id drown so fast I'm sinking now and your in the past
Now winter youve entered and so fasinating as you've rendered list so captivating
And I don't trust
Attraction much but you seem so summertime serene and yet i freeze at just the thought of u I get
Over maintenance stabization mode an ode to let's go back and track
Marks of your death reminders that
Winter owes me frozen convos woken dreams relapse
The snowflakes soon will hurt all of me I can't be
In love with my serenity while cheating with impulsivity
Regret this
Winter solstice change into the sun and warm me up some getting hotter
Just to be icy hot there's levels to
The have you have not tempted flowers stop
Once rented growth in flower pots they owned theyve overgrown and no one knows if they could bloom where planted since they froze
A petal tried to call and rest or let's say hide hybernate is best
When live or does the scarlet letter chests
Wonder how to know no yes
I can tell you nothing and say this
Summertime has had it's bliss and we can hustle it's just what we know risk everything to reap what's sown
The streets get cold in summers heat whereive resides in the concrete
Your feet tip toes to go across and sleet defeats heartbreak for just a nights heartache and such zero goes and u won't take
A note for Valentine's bday that's February 14th 8th aquarius now married
To pain and much hypocrisy once honest becomes liars we

Live in n December whenever we mark the calendar and see
We left home in the summers heat so freezing cold we couldn't see
The time we took to fall in love, devoured us completely by just month 3
And our anniversary is the
Blizzard that is 6 feet high love you till death does us part we due inside the eye of the tigers winter storm
Where your arms would freeze so frozen warm that I burned in misery

My Fingers Froze On Sultry Noon

I was obsessed
with a thought of winning her
but my true feelings she never assessed
yet hope I lost never
hoping that positivity wins ever
I continued to impress with feelings pure and true
she smiled, said meet at marriage court next hour
madly joyous, dreamt proposal-cum-marriage, wait worth due

There she was with her fiancé, me not having any clue
my world came crashing down
she just wanted me to be witness for their vows “ I do”
my fingers froze on sultry noon
still somehow signed the Register
thinking destiny wishing for me something better

Blood Froze In Its Track

the yellow slant of the squinting sun
silently swallowed the black of green
red roads ascended to the pretty sky
n sorrow spilled down the stream quietly
streames giggled
bangles clinked
my soul rocketed
to the realms unknowned
haunting the conscience,deep within
hymning angels caressing the heart n
deep abyss gladly in
emptiness stares
darkness surrounds
depth of darkness, intoxicates
musk of silence lingers
dearth of thoughts
eyes stared into the brain
no ripples
end of the flame
blowing wind stopped to a halt
blood froze in its track
the track of birth and life and love
for a new
existence

Premium Member It Was a Good Morning Till

He seems to be new and I so cool
Walk over to introduce myself
I notice a clue his polished shoes
And the badges shiny on his belt

It seems my desk was a mess
As the man had searched high and low
I'm Bob he says with the IRS
Your company's assets will be froze

In fact lady come with me
There are questions for you and news
Today was a good day indeed
For the audited IRS blues.

Hell Froze Over

the reason for christmas
the bribe to the devil that i can kill with a joke
we told old man winter who he was
how to make it snow
and where he was
boy was he mad
everyone was there
i know many don't remember
we barely got out alive

The controversy of sarcasm
to the one who believes everything
that cannot contain his own force
from the corner of the world
with his voice activated missile
and the curse to lead him in his attempt
of figuring out the secret word

soo obvious
i try soo hard
i don't think he will ever get it
in love
and in hate
he loves me
a peculiar crime to return him to innocence
to be part of the true reflection of the meaning of life

if something goes wrong with the meaning of life
it affects the gods that are his reflection
mankind a reflection of these gods
working throughout history buying one more piece of the puzzle to perfection
mankind a hero, just needs to start acting like one

with half a brain trying to show the world its own broken heart
i can't give you the answer just selfrighteously string you along
working on tricking an evil genie to get what you want
sometimes you have to do things half backwards to get it done
eventually the time will come when we realise the blind leading the blind
yeah sure, when hell freezes over they'll say
and right around the corner the karma police on the scene of the crime

undercover to tell the truth
of one unbelievable lie

Froze On Passed Time

The clock on the wall is froze on passed time.
Your memory is my future.
I force myself to smile.

No one can understand how my heart truly feels.
I want you back with me
To replace the pain
Thats real.

On your side of the bed,
Is where you once would lay.
Down to rest from working
Long hours every day.

I watch for you each evening, to drive up our driveway.
To welcome you back home
Is my false reality.

I feel your presence around me.
I know its you because,
You are the only one
That i let in.
I have always loved.

My mind tries answering questions,
My heart seems to ask..
Lord i would give anything
To have you come back.

I know your final decision, is between you and God.
All i want for you,
Is peace and happy thoughts.

Ill see you again one day
When HE calls my name.
No doubt in my mind
You and mother will greet me at the Gates.

I send you all my love from my heart to yours.
Protect me and watch over each of our family from above.

Cold and Froze

My hands sway back and forth frozen to the bone,
The chilled air no longer felt,
They know they're all alone,
Determination keeps the body on its destined path,
Knowing it will soon be warm in your home,
Safe from the weathers cold wrath

His What Froze Off

His WHAT Froze Off?

By Elton Camp

Yesterday Rob was outside blowing snow
The temperature was eleven degrees below

The wind chill made it feel very much worse
The spell of freezing weather he began to curse

Suddenly he heard a thumping sound
What a shock when Rob turned around

It was so weird what he then found
His gluteus maximus on the ground

That was a saying he’d always heard
That it could be real had never occurred

Premium Member Before It Froze - Lei

As the wind blew strong on the face
The head tipped downward, in this place

Lost in the fog, with pelting sleet
Would there be two tracks that will meet?

Then a touch of a fingertip,
Wiped the last tear drop from a drip

Before it froze with a heart closed
Love’s warmth cured the danger it posed

You; Unseen Bonds

Pedestrians and carts, travellers of time,
In a fleeting mode, together they blame
Here and there, they cross each other
In the vast expanse of life!
 Touching, distancing, talking and silent.
They laugh, argue and share their tales-
Of joy, woe and love’s unveiled frails-
Hand in hand, they tread in a land, timeless.
As they moved through threads of fate,
Her eyes fall on a human form on footpath
Shabby form, soiled clothes and grey beard-
Hidden in the ripples of cosmic pond.
Mangled hairlike roots tied in time,
He stares with blood-red mongoose eyes.
In her gaze, a world unfolds, voice trapped-
A singular vision, a tale untold!
Left a food packet, by the torn feet
Dirty hands took it in mechanic style.
A gaze by pair of stony, red eyes-
A tale of past, lie within her heart.
Between despair, losses and uncertainties,
A bond forged, like a mirage’s grace.
Whirlpools and hot streams from within
Drowned her world of love, perished.
When he savored the food in greed,
The ocean of compassion filled her eyes.
In his outstretched hands, she gave
A bottle of water, from her soul in awe.
Moments of life’s qualms
Froze in the depths of her heart’s ocean!
Moments of the dreams faded-
When the stranger vanished from sight.
Was it you, my childhood friend?
Or my sibling lost in void?
Aren’t you the messenger of my ancestors?
You can’t vanish; you are safe in my memory!

Winter time blues

Daily, thawed car locks
Nightly, frost freeze them again
Never ending game!
